A lot of players underestimate Warden because his special gadget, the Glance Smart Glasses, only affects himself. So for a lot of players, Warden isn’t really a team player. However, being able to counter enemies pushing through the cover of smoke or the blinding effects of stun grenades or Ying’s Candelas, is a really powerful ability and one that contributes a lot to the team.
That ability of Warden becomes even more effective at surprising and countering enemies when they don’t know that he’s in the defending team. Luckily, the newest addition to Warden’s loadouts, the observation blocker, specializes in denying intel to the attackers, and in this article, we’ll go more in-depth on how players can take advantage of the recent changes to his loadouts.
5. M590A1 with Reflex B and Laser + P-10C with Suppressor and Laser + Deployable Shield
Warden is one of the best anchors in the game, and surely, it’s when anchoring that he can bring out his full potential. That's because through his special gadget, the Glance Smart Glasses, he can surprise enemies who think that they’re so safe behind the effects of smoke and stun grenades. So when attackers push after leading with those grenades, they can really be surprised by Warden who can still see through his Glance Smart Glasses. And when those scenarios happen, the M590A1 shotgun comes in really handy. Because with this shotgun, Warden can take out an opponent with just one shot.
The M590A1 shotgun may have a slow rate of fire, but it more than makes up for that drawback with its heavy damage per pellet. With the laser attached to it, its hip fire pellet spread will be a lot tighter, and Warden will be effective at fragging opponents with it, even without going into aim-down-sights stance. The deployable shield will allow Warden to hold an angle for a long time, especially when supported by anti-projectile operators like Wamai and Jager. The deployable shield is also an excellent utility for luring opponents into close quarters combat.
Excels in:
- Having close range superiority with the M590A1 shotgun due to its pellet spread and heavy damage per pellet, which can take down an opponent with one shot regardless of armor rating at close range
- Warden’s M590A1 shotgun having a very tight hip fire spread due to the presence of the laser attachment which makes it even a better weapon at close quarters combat
- Having pinpoint accuracy with Warden’s secondary weapon because of the integrated red dot sight on his P-10C suppressed handgun
- Being able to shoot enemy gadgets like drones and claymores with much less chance of giving away your position to enemies due to the suppressor on the P-10C handgun
- Holding an angle effectively with the use of the deployable shield which has slits that allows the user to see enemies on the other side while still safely behind its cover
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - M590A1 with Reflex B and Laser
- Secondary weapon - P-10C with Suppressor and Laser
- Generic gadget - Deployable Shield

4. MPX with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + P-10C with Suppressor and Laser + Nitro Cell
The MPX submachine gun used to have one of the lowest recoils among all the submachine guns in Siege, however, the fairly recent recoil progression overhaul has affected it by a lot. It can now be quite challenging to hold down its weapon kick. However, with the flash hider and the vertical grip working hand in hand to lower its vertical recoil, its weapon kick will become very manageable. The flash hider barrel attachment will also remove the muzzle flash from the MPX so it can be a bit harder for enemies to pinpoint the exact location that Warden is shooting from.
The MPX can also be attached with a scope 1.5x which provides the perfect amount of zoom for Warden as an anchor. Because as an anchor, Warden would mostly be dealing with enemies at close to medium range, and the scope 1.5x is perfect for those distances. As for the nitro cell as Warden’s generic gadget, it’s great for countering enemies that are pushing through the use of smoke grenades. And since Warden can see through the smoke, he’ll be able to throw his nitro cell at the enemies with good accuracy.
Excels in:
- Having a great vertical recoil control on Warden’s MPX submachine gun due to both the flash hider and the vertical grip present on the weapon
- Providing Warden with a good amount of zoom through the scope 1.5x while not losing out a lot when it comes to peripheral view
- Reducing the number of visual cues that enemies could react to with the flash hider barrel attachment removing the MPX’s muzzle flash
- Having great accuracy on Warden’s secondary weapon when he switches to it because the P-10C has an integrated red dot sight
- Fragging multiple enemies with the explosion power of the nitro cell which is great for countering enemies who are pushing through the cover of smoke
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - P-10C with Suppressor and Laser
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell

3. MPX with Scope 1.5x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip + Nitro Cell
This loadout setup is for players who prefer having the best damage possible on their loadouts. That’s because the extended barrel on Warden’s MPX submachine gun will increase its damage by 12% and it will greatly reduce its range damage drop-off. That means that with this loadout setup, Warden will be dealing high damage to his enemies regardless of range. And with the help of the scope 1.5x, Warden can accurately shoot enemies even at long distances. This loadout setup really helps Warden make quick work of his enemies so that he can move on to another much faster.
But the MPX with an extended barrel isn’t the only offensive powerhouse in this loadout setup. The SMG-12 as Warden’s secondary weapon will provide him with another fully automatic weapon that he can use to keep firing at enemies when his MPX needs to be reloaded in the middle of combat. The SMG-12 may have a really rough recoil, but if the user knows how to pace his shots well with short bursts, it can really be effective at fragging enemies. Of course, another heavily offensive weapon in Warden’s arsenal is the nitro cell which can take out multiple enemies with its explosion power.
Excels in:
- Inflicting high damage to enemies with Warden’s MPX submachine gun because of the extended barrel which now adds 12% damage to weapons
- Maximizing the damage output of Warden’s MPX submachine gun with the extended barrel greatly reducing its range damage drop-off
- Maintaining a good amount of recoil control on Warden’s MPX submachine gun with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Providing Warden with a good amount of zoom level through the scope 1.5x on his MPX submachine gun which is great for close to medium range shooting
- Having another fully automatic weapon in the SMG-12 machine pistol which will allow Warden to keep firing at his opponents when his MPX needs to be reloaded
- Having the ability to take out multiple enemies due to the explosion power of the nitro cell which has a good synergy with Warden’s Glance Smart Glasses
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Scope 1.5x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell

2. M590A1 with Reflex B and Laser + SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip + Observation Blocker
To a lot of players, this loadout setup could very well be Warden’s best. That’s because it provides him with a lot of versatility and allows him to be very powerful at close to medium range. For close quarters combat, the M590A1 shotgun will give him the superiority because it can down an opponent regardless of armor rating with just one shot at its optimal range. It’s even going to be more powerful at close range with the laser because it will tighten its hip fire pellet spread, allowing Warden to be effective at damaging enemies with the M590A1 even without going into aim-down-sights stance.
As for fragging opponents that are beyond the effective reach of the M590A1 shotgun, Warden will have the SMG-12. As mentioned before, it has a very rough recoil, but if Warden sticks to short sprays, it can be very effective at fragging enemies. With the proper crosshair placement, its recoil actually makes it a headshot machine. As for the observation blocker as Warden’s generic gadget, it helps him hide his identity to attacker drones during the prep phase, and that’s very important because if the attackers aren’t aware of Warden’s presence in the defending team, they’ll definitely be surprised once they pop off their smoke and stun grenades.
Excels in:
- Inflicting very heavy damage at close range due to the M590A1 shotgun which can down an opponent with just one shot at its optimal range regardless of their armor rating
- The laser attachment on Warden’s M590A1 shotgun will really tighten its hip fire pellet spread, allowing the user to be effective with the shotgun even without going into aim-down-sight stance
- Having a clear view of the surroundings while aiming-down-sight with the M590A1 shotgun due to the small frame of the reflex B 1.0x sight that doesn’t eat up a lot of screen space
- Having a secondary weapon in the SMG-12 that is fully automatic and will allow Warden to frag enemies that are beyond the reach of his M590A1 shotgun
- The observation blocker will really help Warden hide from attacker drones during the prep phase and that’s really important for surprising enemies
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - M590A1 with Reflex B and Laser
- Secondary weapon - SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip
- Generic gadget - Observation Blocker

1. MPX with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip + Observation Blocker
While the loadout above is indeed very powerful, this one takes the cake because it gives Warden so much versatility when it comes to his offensive capabilities. On top of that, it also has a great synergy with his Glance Smart Glasses. As we should all know by now, Warden’s Glance Smart Glasses allows him to see enemies through smoke or the effects of Sens’ R.O.U. Projector Systems. And this loadout is a great partner for that, because the suppressor on his MPX will allow him to shoot enemies through the smoke without a directional threat indicator and a muzzle flash.
That means that opponents will not see where Warden’s shots are coming from, and that will prevent them from countering effectively. The observation blocker as Warden’s generic gadget will also add to the effectiveness of that synergy because it will help Warden to avoid being scanned by attacker drones during prep phase, so there’s going to be a good chance that the attackers wouldn’t know that there’s a Warden in the defending team, and they would be careless when pushing with their smoke grenades. Of course, the SMG-12 machine pistol is a great alternative weapon for when Warden’s MPX has to be reloaded.
Excels in:
- Allowing Warden to shoot enemies through the smoke cover without a directional threat indicator of where his shots are coming from
- The gunshots from Warden’s MPX will be greatly silenced by the suppressor and that will make it harder for enemies to determine where Warden is shooting from
- The scope 1.5x will allow Warden to hit enemies with his MPX with deadly accuracy as the added zoom level will make enemies appear bigger on the player’s screen
- The SMG-12 secondary weapon will allow Warden to keep firing a fully automatic weapon at his enemies when his MPX needs to be reloaded in the middle of combat
- The observation blocker will allow Warden to avoid being scanned by attacker drones during prep phase and with that he can surprise the enemies more effectively
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip
- Generic gadget - Observation Blocker
