15. Holo D
The Holo D places last in this list because as you can see from the image above, its frame is basically horrible. It takes up a lot of screen space and it’s like there’s a huge obstruction blocking your screen, especially on its lower portion. With this 1.0x sight, the player could easily miss enemies who are crouching or on prone, or simply at a lower angle. Even its frame on the side of the reticle area is quite thick and at a distance of ten meters, it could easily hide an opponent’s whole body.
Another reason why I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this 1.0x sight is its reticle. Its reticle itself is quite bad as it’s big and blocks the view of the opponent’s body a lot, especially at a distance of ten meters or more. This could negatively affect the player’s aim, especially when they’re aiming for the opponent’s head. With that said, its strength is that its reticle view is quite big and would fit the whole opponent’s body at the range of ten meters. Though this sight is definitely much better at close range. In fact, it’s better for players not to use it at all.
Holo D Review:
- Its lower area eats up a lot of screen space and that could be detrimental as it could block opponents who are crouching, on prone, or on a lower angle or floor
- Its side frame is also quite thick and from the range of ten meters, it could completely hide an opponent’s whole body, making the user miss them
- Its reticle is quite horrible as its big and blocks the view of the opponent’s body parts a lot, and that could be detrimental, especially when the user is aiming for the opponents’ head
- Its main and only strength lies with its big reticle view that could fit the opponent’s whole body from the distance of ten meters
Holo D details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
14. Red Dot B
Like the Holo D above, the Red Dot B has a huge structure on its lower part that blocks a lot of screen space, and if you’re aiming-down-sights while scanning the area, it’s almost a guarantee that with this 1.0x sight, you’ll miss an opponent who is crouching or in a prone position. The fact that its reticle area is placed on the rear end of the sight away from the user also gives an illusion that the view is far and that the zoom level is even lesser than 1.0x.
What makes it slightly better than the Holo D above is that the frame around its reticle doesn’t take up a lot of screen space. So at least for its side, front, and upper view, it’s a pretty good 1.0x sight. Its reticle is also quite big like the Holo D’s reticle; however, it has a more centered inner reticle that will provide the user with better accuracy than the previous 1.0x sight. All in all, it’s not the worst sight, but still not recommended if you have other choices, and you do.
Red Dot B Review:
- Its lower frame is huge and takes up a lot of screen space, so with this sight, it’s very easy to miss opponents who are crouching or in a prone position
- The sight’s frame around the reticle is quite thin and doesn’t take up a lot of screen space, so for the side, front, and upper view when aiming-down-sights on this sight, it’s not that bad
- Its reticle area is placed on the other end of the sight, away from the user, so it gives off an illusion that the zoom level is less than 1.0x even though it’s technically a 1.0x sight
- The reticle itself is not that bad considering that it’s also big like the Holo D’s reticle, but this one has a more centered inner reticle so it’s better for accuracy
Red Dot B details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
13. Holo C
Like the previous two 1.0x sights reviewed above, the Holo C has a huge structure at its bottom area that blocks a big portion of the screen, and that’s why it ranks among the worst of the 1.0x sights. Obviously, with the Holo C, the likelihood is high that the user will miss opponents who are at a lower angle. However, it has some more positive qualities than the two previous 1.0x sights that we discussed above.
One of them is that its lowest part is actually thin, so if the opponent is right below you, you’d be able to see them even when you’re aiming-down-sight. Another good quality of the Holo C is its wide reticle area. With how wide it is, it would be hard to lose sight of your enemy once you’ve got them on your sights, even when they’re moving sideways quickly. Another thing is that its reticle is not that bad. It has a center dot reticle, and the only thing bad about it are the lines beside it which at times could just confuse the user.
Holo C Review:
- Its biggest problem is its lower part which blocks plenty of screen space, and with that, the user could easily miss an opponent who’s in a lower angle
- Its lowest part is actually quite slim, so if the opponent is almost directly below the user, that could be plus points for this 1.0x sight
- Its reticle area is quite wide, so once the user has their opponent on their sight, it would be hard to lose them, even when the opponent is moving sideways quickly
- Its reticle is not that bad as its center dot promotes a lot of accuracy, though the lines beside it could at times just confuse the user and they’re one of this sight’s weak points
Holo C details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
12. Reflex A
This is where we kind of start seeing actual good 1.0x sights in the list and ones that I can actually recommend. With that said though, the Reflex A still ranks low in the list because it has many bad qualities. Right off the bat, you can see from its picture above that its lower part takes up a lot of screen space, and that’s always not in the best interest of players, as it could completely block out enemies who are couching on in a prone position while you’re scanning the surroundings on the aim-down-sights stance.
However, even though its lower part takes up a lot of screen space, there are areas where it’s quite thin and even if an opponent is crouching in front of you, there’s a high chance you’ll notice them through those parts of the sight. The Reflex A’s strength really lies with its reticle which is just a simple dot reticle, and that’s always great for accuracy as it doesn’t block the view of the opponent’s body parts a lot, and it will allow you to target them with pinpoint accuracy.
Reflex A Review:
- Like the previous 1.0x sights, the Reflex A’s lower part also takes up a lot of screen space, and that could be detrimental in detecting opponents who are in a low angle
- Its strongest point is its simple center dot reticle which as you can see from the picture, doesn’t obstruct the view of the opponents' body parts a lot, and that provides pinpoint accuracy
- The frame around the reticle area is also quite thin and that would lessen the chances of enemies disappearing from your sight when aiming at them
- The reticle is quite wide and tall and that also lessens the chances of the player losing sight of the enemy, especially when they’re moving fast
Reflex A details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
11. Reflex B
The Reflex B is my favorite 1.0x sight for shotguns, meaning the shotguns that fire multiple pellets per shot and not single slug firing ones like the TCSG12, ACS12, or the BOSG.12.2. That’s because as you can see from the picture above, its main frame doesn’t take up a lot of screen space at all. In fact, it’s quite thin, and the only part that really obstructs the front view a lot is the sort of big block at its left side, but overall, its whole structure doesn’t eat up a lot of screen space.
Its weak point really is that its reticle has two lines at the side of the center reticle, and those two lines are just added obstruction and can confuse the user a bit when aiming at opponents at a distance of ten meters or more. Another weak point of this sight is that its reticle area is placed at the end of the sight which is away from the user, and that creates the feeling that the zoom level is even lower than 1.0x. But this is great for shotguns because when aiming shotguns at close range, you don’t really need pinpoint accuracy.
Reflex B Review:
- It’s the best 1.0x sight for shotguns because its small frame which doesn’t take up a lot of screen space will allow the shotgun user to have a clear front view
- Its reticle is not that good because of the two lines along the center which can just confuse the user’s aim, but with a shotgun, it doesn’t matter that much
- Its reticle area has a good size and can really fit the opponent’s whole body from a distance of around ten meters, and that will help the user to always keep an eye on the enemy
- Another drawback from using the Reflex B is that its reticle area is placed at the end of the sight which is away from the player, and that creates an illusion that the target is further than it really is
Reflex B details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
10. Holo A
This used to be the most popular 1.0x sight and there was a time when you’d even get flamed by other players if you’re not using it. I know, because I’ve experienced it first-hand. But even during the times when it was the meta 1.0x sight, I’ve always thought that it’s not really that good. That’s because as you can see from the picture above, its main body blocks so much of the screen, and if the opponent is crouching or on prone in front of you, you’d likely won’t see them.
The side frame around the reticle area is also quite thick, and it could easily block the opponent’s whole body, so it’s not really ideal. However, its strongest suit is its reticle. It’s composed of two circles. The inner one is the center dot, and surrounding it is a bigger circle which is still small. This reticle is really good because it doesn’t obstruct the player’s view of the enemy that much and it still promotes pinpoint accuracy. On top of that, because it’s not too small, it’s unlikely that the player will lose sight of it when their opponent is moving fast.
Holo A Review:
- Its lower body is very thick and takes so much screen space, and that’s really a negative as it could block out an opponent that is crouching or in a prone position in front of the player
- The frame that surrounds the reticle area is also quite thick and they could easily hide the opponent’s whole body in certain angles, and that’s a negative for the player’s aim
- Its strongest suit is its reticle which is almost like a center dot. This allows for pinpoint shooting while also great for flick shots because it’ll ensure that the player is always on track of the reticle
- The reticle section is quite big and that’s good for the player’s aim as it lessens the chance that the enemy will escape from their sight
Holo A details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
9. Reflex C
The Reflex C is a better version of the Reflex A because its lower body doesn’t take up as much screen space, and its reticle area has a really good size. The reticle area, as you can see from the picture above, really captures the opponent’s body fully. On top of that, its simple center dot reticle will provide the user with pinpoint accuracy, although it’s so small that it runs the risk of the user losing sight of it, especially during high intensity situations.
With that said, this is one of the best 1.0x sights and I’m comfortable recommending it, because it’s just simply great for aim. The reticle area feels close to the user so unlike some of the previously discussed sights, it doesn’t create the illusion that the opponent is further than they are. And since the reticle area has a really good size, it lessens the chances of the user losing sight of the enemy. Its lower body is also quite slim, so even if the opponent is crouching or in a prone position in front of you, there’s a good chance you’ll see them.
Reflex C Review:
- Its frame doesn’t take up a lot of screen space, and even though there’s some protruding areas, they’re not that big, so there’s not much risk of them blocking the user’s view of the enemy
- Its reticle area has a really good size, and that will greatly lessen the chances of the player losing sight of their enemy, even when they’re moving fast
- Its center dot reticle is really good and it promotes pinpoint accuracy. The only danger is that it’s so small that the user can lose sight of it during high intensity situations
- The reticle area feels close to the user’s eyes so it doesn’t create the illusion that the enemy is further than they are. It really promotes the feeling that the user has “captured” the enemy in their sights.
Reflex C details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
8. Red Dot C
Apart from the gear-like thing on its right side, the Red Dot C is as good as you can get to a 1.0x sight. It has all the qualities that you’d want in a sight. Its reticle is just a simple dot on the center, and that will really allow the user to accurately hit enemies as it doesn’t obstruct their view of the opponent’s body at all. Its reticle area also has a good size and as you can see from the image above, it can fit the enemy’s whole body from a distance of ten meters and more.
On top of those qualities, its main body is on the slim side, so unlike many of the sights we discussed above, when you’re aiming-down-sights with the Red Dot C, you would still likely spot opponents crouching or in a prone position in front of you. Overall, this is a great 1.0x sight for accuracy, especially for short sprays. That’s because if you fire it in long sprays with a weapon that has a very fast rate of fire, there’s a tendency that you’d lose track of its small reticle.
Red Dot C Review:
- Its small dot reticle at the center of the sight promotes pinpoint shooting as it doesn’t obstruct the user’s view of the opponent’s body at all
- Its reticle area is well rounded, and the user would be able to see their enemy’s whole body with it when aiming-down-sights at a distance of ten meters and more
- Apart from the gear-like thing on its right side, its main frame is quite slim, so with this 1.0x sight, there’s less chance of not seeing enemies that are on a low angle
- Its reticle is also not far from the user’s eyes, so it won’t create the feeling that the enemy is further than what they really are
Red Dot C details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
7. Holo B
Holo B is the best holo sight variant because its main frame doesn’t take up a lot of screen space. Yes, its lower body is still pretty much a huge square, but it’s not as big as the Holo A’s. Its lowest part is also quite thin, so chances are, you’d still notice if an opponent is crouching or in a prone position in front of you when you’re aiming-down-sight. Its reticle area is also quite big, so it would be easy to not lose sight of your enemy when using this 1.0x sight.
Its reticle is not that bad. I would have preferred it if it was just a simple circle instead of it having some protruding parts, because as you can see from the picture above, it tends to block the view of the opponent’s head quite a lot. But comparing it to some of the worse sights above, the Holo B’s reticle is not that bad at all. Its size is also quite good as it would make it less likely that the user will lose sight of it during high intensity engagements with the enemy and spraying frantically.
Holo B Review:
- Its lower body is quite thick, but overall, it doesn’t take much screen space, which is always good, and its lowest part is quite thin, so it won’t be a negative when the opponent is on a lower angle
- Its reticle area is quite big and that’s always good for a 1.0x sight as it will make it so that the enemy will always be on the user’s sights
- Its reticle is far from bad, and its size makes it so that the user won’t lose track of it during high intensity situations or when firing with a weapon with a very fast rate of fire
- The frame around the reticle area is quite thin and that’s great to have as it lessens the chances of it blocking the user’s view of the opponent
Holo B details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
6. Red Dot A
The Red Dot A is the best 1.0x sight because it has all the qualities that a player would want. Its main body doesn’t take up a lot of screen space, especially on its lower part, so it’s unlikely that you’ll miss opponents that are crouching, in a prone position, or on a lower floor. The frame around its reticle area is quite thick, but it’s a good balance with its thin lower body, so overall, it’s a pretty balanced sight. It’s not perfect, but it’s the best that one can have.
Its reticle is also the best among all the 1.0x sights in the game because it’s just a simple dot at the center. As you can see from the picture above, the enemy on the sight can be clearly seen, especially the head which is the most important target. Its reticle area is also quite big, and it fits the enemy’s whole body, so even if the enemy is crouching or on prone, it would be easy to spot them. The only thing about this sight is that the user should really be careful not to lose track of its reticle during very intense situations and when they’re spraying frantically.
Red Dot A Review:
- Its frame, especially its lower body doesn’t take up a lot of screen space, and the more screen space the player have, the better, because it directly affects how they see enemies
- Its reticle area is quite big and easily fits the enemy’s full body, so whatever the enemy’s position is, be it standing, crouching, or prone, the player would be able to see them well
- The reticle area feels very close to the user’s eyes, so it promotes the sense that the enemy is closer than they really are and the player will really feel like they’ve caught their opponent in their sight
- The small dot at the center as its reticle is the best when it comes to accuracy as it doesn’t obstruct the player’s view of the enemy at all and it promotes pinpoint accuracy
Red Dot A details:
- Zoom level is 1.0x
- Available to all primary guns and machine pistols
- Available to shotguns as well
5. Scope 2.5x B
I’m not a fan of the scope 2.5x B, but it’s objectively better than all the 1.0x sights so its ranking is higher than them. Its frame is actually really good because it doesn’t consume a lot of screen space, unlike the A variant. However, its main problem is its reticle. The design of its reticle, as you can see from the picture above, obstructs the player’s view of the enemy a lot. This reticle is not that good when it comes to accuracy, although I can see that it can be good in other ways.
One of those other ways is when the weapon has strong recoil and fast rate of fire. With weapons like that, it could be easy to lose track of the reticle, and therefore, the aim. So a big reticle like what the scope 2.5x B has can make the player more comfortable with their aim. The scope 2.5x B could be a good starting sight for players who are trying to get used to using scopes that provide high levels of zoom for close quarters combat.
Scope 2.5x B Review:
- It provides a high level of zoom to the player and that’s always great to have as with a zoom level like that, it’ll be easier to see enemies and hit them
- The only downside to using this scope is its reticle which is quite big and isn’t really good for pinpoint shooting. With that said, it can be good for weapons with high recoil and fast rate of fire.
- The scope 2.5x B’s main frame doesn’t take up a lot of screen space so the user will not be at a big disadvantage when it comes to peripheral view even though its zoom level is high
- Its objective lens is also quite big so even though the zoom level is very high, it can fit the opponent’s whole body from a distance of ten meters and more
Scope 2.5x B details:
- Zoom level is 2.5x
- Available to LMGS: G8A1 (Amaru Only), M249, T-95 LSW.
- Available to Marksman Rifles: 417, CAMRS, SR-25, MK 14 EBR (Dokkaebi Only), AR-15.50.
- Available to Assault Rifles: AR33 (Thatcher Only), 556xi, AK12 (Fuze Only, Russian Variant), AUG A2 (IQ Only), Type-89, V308, AK-74M, F90.
- Available to one shotgun: BOSG.12.2
4. Scope 1.5x
The scope 1.5x only came to Siege in recent years, and has since then been a game changer. Obviously it’s better than any of the 1.0x sights, so if it’s available to operators that you like, it’s a really great perk to have. Its zoom level is not that high, but it’s enough for players to see their enemies well, even at long distances. The scope 1.5x is perfect for close to medium range because at those distances, the enemy will really appear bigger on the player’s screen and would therefore be much easier to hit.
Despite its advanced zoom level, the player will also not be at a disadvantage in terms of peripheral view because its zoom level is not too high. Its main frame is also on the slim side and doesn’t take up a lot of screen space at all so it doesn’t have the problem that many of the 1.0x sights discussed before have. Another great thing about the scope 1.5x is that its reticle provides the user with great accuracy because it doesn’t obstruct the view of the enemy’s body parts at all.
Scope 1.5x Review:
- The scope 1.5x provides a good amount of zoom level for the player to be able to see their enemies better, even at long distances
- The zoom level is not too high so the player won’t be at a big disadvantage in terms of peripheral view when dealing with enemies at close to medium range
- Its main frame is on the slim side so it doesn’t take up a lot of screen space at all, and with that, there’s much less chance that the sight’s body will block the player’s view of the opponent
- The scope 1.5x has a great reticle as it’s basically just a small circle at the center, and that kind of reticle provides the player with pinpoint accuracy
Scope 1.5x details:
- Zoom level is 1.5x
- Available to LMGs: M249 and its SAW variant, 6P41, LMG-E, T-95 LSW.
- Available to Marksman Rifles: 417, CAMRS, SR-25, MK 14 EBR, AR-15.50.
- Available to Assault Rifles: M4, PARA-308, C8-SFW, L85A2, G36C, 552 Commando, F2, AR33, Mk17 CQB, Type-89, AK-74M, SC3000K. POF-9
- Available to Submachine Guns: PDW9, FMG-9, MP7 (Zero Only), MP5, MP5SD variant, MP5K, MPX (Warden Only), UMP45, P90, P10 RONI (Mozzie Only).
- Available to Shotguns: ACS12, TCSG12, BOSG.12.2
3. Scope 2.5x A
The scope 2.5x A is a great sight to have because of its advanced zoom level and its reticle. Its reticle is not a center dot, yes, but it's just a pointed arrow at the center that clearly shows you your target. This type of reticle is the best for headshots which is really what players should aim for in Siege, especially in the higher ranks, as it’s the fastest way to take down your opponents. The scope 2.5x A’s reticle provides pinpoint accuracy to the user and that’s always a great perk to have when it comes to choosing sights.
The 2.5x zoom level can be quite intimidating to many players, especially those who are new to the game. However, once you get used to it, you’d always want to have advanced zoom levels on your sight as it will really allow you to target your enemies well. The only drawback with the scope 2.5x A is that its frame around the objective lens is pretty thick, and in some instances, it could completely block the opponent’s whole body, so the user just has to watch out for that.
Scope 2.5x A Review:
- Its reticle is great for accuracy because it doesn’t block out the view of the opponent’s body, in fact, the scope 2.5x A is probably the best reticle for headshots
- Its high zoom level is great for players as it will allow them to see their enemies bigger on their screen, and of course, that would mean that it’ll be easier for them to hit their enemies
- Unlike many of the sights discussed above, the lower part of the scope 2.5x A is quite thin, so it’s unlikely for the player to miss enemies who are crouching or on a prone position
- The scope 2.5x A’s only drawback is that the frame around the objective lens is quite thick and it could completely block the view of an opponent’s body
Scope 2.5x A details:
- Zoom level is 2.5x
- Available to LMGS: G8A1 (Amaru Only), M249, T-95 LSW.
- Available to Marksman Rifles: 417, CAMRS, SR-25, MK 14 EBR (Dokkaebi Only), AR-15.50.
- Available to Assault Rifles: AR33 (Thatcher Only), 556xi, AK12 (Fuze Only, Russian Variant), AUG A2 (IQ Only), Type-89, V308, AK-74M, F90.
- Available to one shotgun: BOSG.12.2
2. Scope 3.0x
This sight could easily be at number one. Its only drawbacks really is that it’s only available for a few weapons, and that its zoom level is so high that there’s a risk that players won’t see enemies coming from the sides. But definitely, if the scope 3.0x is compatible with your weapon, it’s highly advised to use it. That’s because the very high zoom level from it will allow you to see your enemies really well, and that will make it much easier to hit them.
Its center dot reticle is also great for accuracy as it provides a clear view of the target. Its objective lens is also quite big, so even though its zoom level is so high, it can still fit the enemy’s whole body even from a distance of ten meters as shown in the picture. Another great thing about the scope 3.0x is that its main frame is very thin. So at least for their front view, the player will really have a clear view of their surroundings, and that’s great for hunting down enemies.
Scope 3.0x Review:
- Its very high zoom level will allow the player to see their enemies really well on their screen, and that will make it much easier for them to hit them
- Its simple center dot reticle promotes pinpoint accuracy, especially since it doesn’t block the opponent’s body at all which is unlike the case with many other reticles in the game
- Its main frame is very thin and doesn’t take up a lot of screen space at all, so the player’s front view will be very clear, and that’s great for spotting enemies
- Its objective lens is quite big, so even though its zoom level is very high, the player will still be able to view the opponent’s full body within the sight even at a distance of ten meters
Scope 3.0x details:
- Zoom level is 3.0x
- Available to a Handgun: .44 Mag Semi-Auto
- Available to Marksman Rifles: CAMRS, 417, SR-25, Mk 14 EBR (Dokkaebi Only), AR-15.50.
1. Scope 2.0x
This is the best sight in the game right now because it’s the most balanced. Apart from the big gear on its top left side, using it doesn’t really have any downside. Yes, the big gear on the upper left side can block the view of an opponent on that angle, but that would be rare anyway. The advantages that the scope 2.0x provides the player will greatly outweigh that small drawback. And those advantages are a lot, because the scope 2.0x has all the qualities that you’ll want for your sight.
As its name says, it provides the player with a 2.0x zoom level, and that’s a high level of zoom that will make enemies appear bigger on the player’s screen while maintaining a healthy amount of peripheral view as the zoom level is not too high. Its frame is very similar to the scope 3.0x above in that they both do not obstruct the player’s front view at all, and that’s always great to have for spotting enemies. Lastly, the scope 2.0x’s reticle is excellent as it doesn’t block the player’s view of the opponent’s body parts and it’s close to a simple center dot reticle.
Scope 2.0x Review:
- It provides an ample amount of zoom to the user while maintaining a healthy amount of peripheral view so that the user won’t be in too much of a disadvantage at close to medium range
- Its main frame is very thin so it doesn’t obstruct the player’s front view a lot, so even if there are enemies at a low angle, chances are, the player would still be able to see them
- It has a very good reticle that doesn’t block the player’s view of the opponent’s body a lot, and it also has a good size so it’s a guarantee that the player won’t ever lose track of it
- Its only downside is the big gear-like thing on its upper left side that can block the player’s view of an enemy from that angle, but it’s going to be rare, and the benefits from this scope far outweighs that
Scope 2.0x details:
- Zoom level is 2.0x
- Available to Assault Rifles: 556xi, AK-12, ARX200 (Nomad Only), AR33, C7E, F90, L85A2 (Thatcher Only), M762, SC3000K, Spear .308 (Finka Only), V308, 552 Commando (Grim Only), POF-9.
- Available to LMGs: G8A1 (Amaru Only), LMG-E, M249 SAW, T95-LSW.
- Available to a Submachine Gun: MP5 (Rook Only)
- Available to Shotguns: TCSG12, ACS12 (Alibi Only), BOSG.12.2
