Maverick is one of the most versatile operators in the game because with his special gadget, the Breaching Torch, he can play more than one role. He can be the hard breach enabler, line of sight provider, or he can perform the hard breaching himself. The latter often surprises enemies inside the objective spot, because he can make an entry hole on a reinforced wall in relative silence. But it’s not just his special gadget that makes him a versatile operator, he also has access to a variety of weapons and utilities that he can use for specific situations.
5. M4 with Scope 1.5x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + 1911 Tacops with Suppressor + Claymore
This loadout setup is for players who prefer to have the best damage they can get out of their primary weapon. The M4 assault rifle in this setup will have its damage potential and output at its maximum because the extended barrel attachment will greatly lower its range damage drop-off. That means that the M4 assault rifle in this loadout will be inflicting a great amount of damage per shot regardless of range. Speaking of range, the scope 1.5x on the M4 will provide the user with a good enough zoom for targeting enemies even at medium to long-range while also not sacrificing a lot of peripheral view.
The vertical grip on the M4 in this setup will allow the user to manage its vertical weapon kick well even without the presence of another recoil benefit providing attachment on its barrel. For the secondary weapon, the 1911 Tacops with a suppressor will allow Maverick to shoot defender cameras while minimizing the risk of giving away his location. And since suppressors don't reduce the damage of weapons anymore, the 1911 Tacops in this setup would still be dealing heavy damage to enemies when the M4 needs to be reloaded in the middle of a gunfight.
Excels in:
- Maximizing the damage potential and output of the M4 assault rifle with the use of the extended barrel attachment
- Maintaining a good grip on the M4 assault rifle’s recoil with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Having a great balance between zoom level and peripheral view with the scope 1.5x on the M4 assault rifle
- Protecting yourself from run outs, roamers, and flankers, while melting portions of reinforced walls with your Breaching Torch.
- Having the ability to shoot defender gadgets especially cameras with less chance of enemies being alerted with the use of the suppressed 1911 Tacops
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - M4 with Scope 1.5x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Claymore

4. AR-15.50 with Scope 3.0x, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip + 1911 Tacops with Suppressor + Claymore
This loadout setup will provide the best recoil control when firing the AR-15.50 marksman rifle. While this could mean that the enemies will know where you’re shooting them from because the AR-15.50 without a suppressor is a really loud gun, this will benefit a lot of players because with this kind of setup, the AR-15.50 will be much easier to control. Its weapon kick won’t be that strong and that means it will be easier to hit the target again right after your previous shot. This could also serve as a great distraction for your teammates since the gunshot sounds from the AR-15.50 could mask the sound cues that they make.
The enemies would also be very unsettled knowing that if they expose themselves on the angle where you’re shooting from, there’s a high possibility that they’ll get killed. That’ll give your teammates a good opportunity for flanking. And since your primary weapon in this setup would be making loud gunshot sounds per shot, it’s best to equip a suppressor on your 1911 Tacops. That way, you’ll be able to shoot defender gadgets, especially their cameras silently and with much less chance of enemies being alerted to your presence.
Excels in:
- Having the best recoil control on the AR-15.50 because of the muzzle brake and the vertical grip attachments
- Being able to see enemies a lot better because of the high zoom levels from the scope 3.0x
- Dealing heavy damage per shot because of the AR-15.50 marksman rifle
- Having the ability to shoot defender gadgets especially cameras without alerting the enemies with the use of the suppressed 1911 Tacops
- Protecting yourself from roamers, flankers, and run outs with the two claymores in your arsenal
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - AR-15.50 with Scope 3.0x, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Claymore
3. M4 with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + 1911 Tacops with Suppressor + Stun Grenade
This loadout setup will provide the user with the best recoil control that is possible for the M4. That’s because both the flash hider and vertical grip attachments will greatly lower its vertical weapon kick, making it easier for the user to hold down its recoil and fire it with a lot of stability. The flash hider will also hide the M4’s muzzle flash, reducing the visual cues that your enemies could use to determine the exact spot where you’re shooting them from. This loadout setup is great for pushing the objective spot.
That’s because the great recoil control from the M4 will help the user set up his next shots better, and the three stun grenades would be great for softening up the objective spot before pushing. Even if the enemies don’t get completely blinded from them, the stun grenades will still inflict an ear-ringing effect on enemies if they pop off near them. That’ll make it harder for them to react to you since their ability to detect sound cues would be much lessened. The suppressed Tacops 1911 on the other hand will allow Mav to shoot defender cameras without giving away his position.
Excels in:
- Having the best recoil control on the M4 assault rifle with the flash hider and vertical grip
- Lessening the visual cues that enemies could react to with the removal of the M4’s muzzle flash
- Being able to shoot defender cameras or other gadgets with less chance of enemies being alerted with the use of the suppressed 1911 Tacos
- Penetrating the objective area by blinding or deafening the defenders inside with the use of the three stun grenades
- Having a great balance between zoom level and peripheral view with the scope 1.5x on the M4
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - M4 with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Stun Grenade

2. AR-15.50 with Scope 3.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + 1911 Tacops with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Claymore
The Ar-15.50 with a suppressor comes in as the second-best primary weapon for Maverick. Its main drawback is that it could be quite hard for the user to use it for fragging enemies at close range, especially those who are coming from the sides or behind. However, the two claymores in this setup could protect the Maverick player from those enemies. And for fragging enemies inside the objective spot through the kill holes made from the Breaching Torch, the AR-15.50 is a devastating weapon.
That’s because it deals heavy damage per shot, especially now that suppressors don’t reduce the weapon’s damage anymore. With the suppressor on the AR-15.50, Maverick can strafe enemies without them getting a directional threat indicator of where his shots are coming from, so it will be harder for them to counter. The scope 3.0x’s high zoom levels will make enemies appear bigger, therefore, much easier to hit. Its frame also doesn’t obstruct the screen a lot, so it will provide the user with a clear screen for targeting enemies.
Excels in:
- Sniping enemies through the kill holes from the Breaching Torch without providing them a directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from
- Ability to see enemies bigger and clearer with the use of the scope 3.0x
- Holding down the recoil of the AR-15.50 with the use of the vertical grip
- Keeping enemies guessing which kill holes Maverick is shooting them from
- Protecting yourself from run outs while you’re melting portions of reinforced walls
- Great recoil control and tight hip fire on the Tacops 1911 handgun because of the muzzle brake and laser
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - AR-15.50 with Scope 3.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Muzzle Brake and Laser
- Generic gadget - Claymore
1. M4 with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + 1911 Tacops with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Claymore
While the AR-15.50 marksman rifle is an extremely powerful weapon for Maverick due to its high damage and scope 3.0x, the M4 assault rifle takes the cake as Maverick’s best primary weapon. That's because it also deals heavy damage per shot and it’s fully automatic. That means it’s much easier to use, especially when responding to enemies that are coming to you from the sides or from behind. Its recoil with a vertical grip attachment is also very manageable especially if the user knows how to pace his shots well, and that makes the M4 a perfect gun for a suppressor.
The suppressor has always been the best barrel attachment for Maverick because his role involves him shooting enemies though the murder holes that he’s made with his Breaching Torch. And because the suppressor hides the weapon’s directional threat indicator, muzzle flash, and greatly dampens its gunshot sounds, it’ll be a lot harder for enemies to guess from which kill hole Maverick’s shots are coming from. The scope 1.5x on the M4 assault rifle will also provide Maverick with a good enough zoom to be able to target enemies inside the objective spot well.
Excels in:
- Shooting enemies through kill holes from the Breaching Torch without giving them a directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from
- Having excellent recoil control of the M4 assault rifle with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Having a good balance between zoom level and peripheral view with the scope 1.5x
- Being able to defend yourself from run outs and flankers with the use of the two claymores in Maverick’s arsenal
- Having a reliable secondary weapon in the 1911 Tacops handgun for finishing enemies when the M4 needs to reload in the middle of a gunfight
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - M4 with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Muzzle Brake and Laser
- Generic gadget - Claymore
