Warden is one of the best at anchoring the objective spot because his special gadget, the Glance Smart Glasses, allows him to see through smoke grenades, Sen’s R.O.U. Projectile Systems, or remove the blinding effects from stun grenades, Blitz’s shield, or Ying’s Candelas. With that, he can effectively counter attackers who believe they are so safe behind the smoke grenade or the other gadgets that I mentioned. Warden is a very underrated operator and those who will play him will be presented with a wide variety of weapon and attachment choices that can really enhance the way that they use him.
5. MPX with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + P-10C with Suppressor + Deployable Shield
The MPX submachine gun is one of the guns in the game with the lowest recoil, so it can afford to only have one recoil-benefit providing attachment. That’s why for this loadout setup, that would be the flash hider, and for its grip, the angled grip would allow the user to go into aim-down-sights stance faster than normal. So this loadout setup presents a good balance between recoil control and speed. And since the MPX’s recoil pattern only mostly goes on a straight vertical path, the flash hider which specializes in lowering weapons’ vertical recoil is really great for handling it.
The flash hider will also hide the MPX’s muzzle flash, therefore, reducing the amount of visual cues that enemies could use to determine where Warden is shooting them from. The angled grip’s aim-down-sights speed bonus is really important for Warden whose special ability is to see enemies through cover like smoke grenades, Sen’s R.O.U. Projector Systems, as well as blind effects. So the angled grip will allow him to engage enemies faster, and that’s really great, especially when engaging fast moving enemies like Blitz or Ying after removing the blind effects from their special gadgets.
Excels in:
- Having a good amount of vertical recoil control through the flash hider barrel attachment
- Reducing the visual cues that enemies could react to for pinpointing Warden’s location by hiding the MPX’s muzzle flash
- Being able to go into aim-down-sight stance faster than normal through the use of the angled grip attachment
- Being able to shoot attacker gadgets like drones or claymores with much less chance of alerting them through the use of the suppressed P-10C handgun
- Holding down an angle for a long time with the additional cover provided by the deployable shield
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip
- Secondary weapon - P-10C with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Deployable Shield

4. M590A1 with Reflex B + SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip + Deployable Shield
This loadout setup is for players who excel at using shotguns, but even for those who don’t, it's still a very viable setup when playing Warden. That’s because if the user needs to shoot enemies at longer distances than shotguns are able to reach, he can use the SMG-12 instead. Now the SMG-12 machine pistol has a really rough recoil, but if you stick with short sprays, you’d be able to hit enemies up to medium range just fine, and really good players are even able to use it for killing enemies at long-range. So with this loadout setup, you’ll have close range superiority with the M590A1 shotgun and still be capable of strafing enemies at further distances.
Of course, this loadout setup is great when used in conjunction with Warden’s Glance Smart Glasses, because most of the time, enemies would think that they’re safe behind a smoke cover, Sen’s R.O.U. Projector System, or the blind effects from stun grenades or Ying’s Candelas. So with Warden, it's quite easy to lure enemies into close quarters engagement, and that's where the M590A1 shotgun will thrive. And of course, when the M590A1 shotgun has to reload in the middle of an enemy engagement, the SMG-12 will be a great weapon to switch to and for finishing off your enemies.
Excels in:
- Close range superiority due to the M590A1 shotgun's pellet spread and heavy damage per pellet
- Having a clear and wide view when aiming-down-sights with the M590A1 due to the Reflex B 1.0x sight
- Having a fully automatic weapon in the SMG-12 machine pistol as your secondary weapon that can also hit enemies at longer distances
- Maintaining a good amount of recoil control on the SMG-12 because of the vertical grip attachment
- Being able to effectively hold an angle with the additional cover from the deployable shield
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - M590A1 with Reflex B
- Secondary weapon - SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip
- Generic gadget - Deployable Shield

3. MPX with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip + Nitro Cell
This is one of the best loadout setups to have for playing Warden because it will provide him with two fully automatic weapons in his arsenal with the MPX submachine gun and the SMG-12 machine pistol. Both of them have a fast rate of fire so they can finish enemies off quickly, especially at close to medium range. The SMG-12 is a really good partner for the MPX submachine gun because despite the latter’s decent magazine size, when facing off against multiple enemies, there’s a high chance that it would need to be reloaded while in the middle of a gunfight.
And when that happens, Warden could really surprise enemies by switching to another fully automatic and rapid firing weapon in the SMG-12. So this loadout setup will provide Warden with great firepower and more ways to dish out damage to enemies. The angled grip on the MPX will allow the Warden player to go into aim-down-sights stance faster than normal while the flash hider on its barrel will be what's going to hold down its recoil. And speaking of firepower, the nitro cell as Warden’s generic gadget is really great for countering pushing enemies behind a smoke cover, especially since Warden would be able to see them through his special gadget.
Excels in:
- Having two fully automatic and rapid-firing weapons in the MPX submachine gun and SMG-12 machine pistol
- Maintaining a good amount of vertical recoil control on the MPX submachine gun through the use of the flash hider
- Reducing the visual cue that enemies could react to for pinpointing Warden’s location by hiding the MPX’s muzzle flash
- Countering pushing enemies behind a smoke cover or Sen’s R.O.U. Projector Systems with the use of the nitro cell in conjunction with Warden’s special gadget
- Having a good amount of zoom level through the scope is 1.5x while not being at a disadvantage when it comes to peripheral view.
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip
- Secondary weapon - SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell

2. MPX with Scope 1.5x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + P-10C with Suppressor + Deployable Shield
This loadout setup will provide Warden with the best damage possible on his MPX submachine because the extended barrel attachment will greatly reduce its range damage drop-off, therefore, it will increase the weapon’s damage potential and output. This is great for Warden who will mostly be anchoring the objective spot and can therefore engage enemies at any range, especially since this loadout setup will ensure that he will be inflicting a good amount of damage per shot with his MPX submachine gun. It’s also a great partner for the scope 1.5x which will allow Warden to see enemies well at medium range, and even at long-range really.
Since the extended barrel doesn't add any recoil control benefit to the MPX submachine gun, it's best to equip it with a vertical grip attachment instead of the angled one. That way, the user will be able to maintain good recoil control with the weapon while enjoying its better damage output and potential. The suppressed P-10C handgun, despite not being as powerful as the SMG-12, is a great utility for Warden when he needs to shoot attacker drones or claymore silently. Its integrated 1.0x sight is also great for targeting enemies at medium to long-range with pinpoint accuracy.
Excels in:
- Maximizing the damage potential and output of the MPX submachine gun by reducing its range damage drop-off with the extended barrel
- Maintaining a good amount of recoil control on the MPX submachine gun through the use of the vertical grip
- Having a good level of zoom through the scope 1.5x while not compromising a lot on peripheral view
- Being able to shoot enemy gadgets like drones or claymores silently through the use of the suppressed P-10C handgun
- Being able to effectively hold down an angle through the additional cover that the deployable shield provides
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Scope 1.5x, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - P-10C with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Deployable Shield
Recoil pattern test on the MPX in this setup with the author’s own recoil control applied:
1. MPX with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip + Nitro Cell
This loadout setup provides Warden with both great stealth capabilities and heavy firepower so it’s the best one in the list. With the suppressed MPX submachine gun, Warden will be able to strafe enemies without them receiving a directional threat indicator of where his shots are coming from. They also won’t see the muzzle flash on his MPX submachine gun, and it will be hard for them to hear its gunshots. So with this loadout setup, Warden can shoot enemies, especially in conjunction with his Glace Smart Glasses which can see through to smoke cover, and it will be much harder for them to return fire effectively.
And when the suppressed MPX handgun needs to reload, Warden would be able to keep engaging them with another fully automatic weapon in the SMG-12 machine pistol. This rapid-firing machine pistol is actually a headshot machine due to its recoil, which is quite rough but is still manageable because of the vertical grip, especially if the user sticks to short burst firing. The nitro cell is a really good partner to Warden’s Glance Smart Glasses because when the enemies think that they’re safe behind a smoke cover, Warden can see them through his special gadget and he will be able to accurately throw a nitro cell at them.
Excels in:
- Shooting enemies with the MPX without them receiving a directional threat indicator of where the shots are coming from
- Lessening the visual cues that enemies could use to pinpoint Warden’s location by removing the MPX’s muzzle flash
- Silencing the gunshots from the MPX will make it harder for enemies to know Warden’s location through that particular sound cue
- Being able to finish off enemies with another fully automatic and rapid-firing weapon in the SMG-12 when the MPX needs to reload
- Scoring easy kills on enemies behind a smoke cover with the nitro cell being used in conjunction with Warden’s Glance Smart Glasses
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MPX with Scope 1.5x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - SMG-12 with Red Dot A and Vertical Grip
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell
