Twitch is one of the most tactical operators in Siege and can play a variety of roles. With her special gadget, the Shock Drone, which can shoot lasers and disable enemy gadgets, she can play the role of a hard breach enabler. Of course, since the Shock Drones are still drones, they can also be used to gather intel on enemy positions or act as bait.
What makes Twitch unique compared to most intel gatherer or utility disabler operators is that her loadout choices are packed with weapons that have heavy firepower. And in this article, we’re going to take a look at those weapons, as well as the generic gadgets that are available to her.
5. SG-CQB with Reflex B and Vertical Grip + P9 with Suppressor + Smoke Grenade
This loadout setup is for players who are proficient in using shotguns and enjoy the close-range superiority it brings. The SG-CQB is one of the most powerful shotguns in the game because it packs heavy fire power per pellet. It’s capable of taking down even heavy armored operators with just one shot at its optimal range, especially when all of its pellets hit the operator’s body. On top of that, the SG-CQB has a very controllable recoil, especially with the presence of the vertical grip attachment. This allows the user to line his next shots well and not lose control of the weapon whenever he shoots it.
The two smoke grenades in Twitch’s generic gadget slot will provide cover for her and her whole team and will allow her to get close to her enemies, which is ideal for her SG-CQB shotgun. The suppressed P9 handgun will allow her to shoot defender gadgets, especially cameras, silently and with less chance of alerting the defenders to her presence. This is very important when she’s sneaking to penetrate the objective spot. As for the 1.0x sight on the SG-CQB shotgun, the reflex B is in general the best sight for shotguns because it provides the user with a clear and wide view due to its small frame.
Excels in:
- Close range superiority due to the SG-CQB shotgun’s pellet spread and heavy damage per pellet
- Having a clear view when aiming-down-sight with the SG-CQB shotgun due to the Reflex B 1.0x sight’s small frame
- Maintaining great vertical recoil control on the SG-CQB shotgun per shot due to the presence of the vertical grip attachment
- Being able to shoot defender gadgets especially CCTV cameras with less risk of alerting enemies to your presence through the use of the suppressed P9 handgun
- Providing cover for the whole attacking team with the use of the two smoke grenades which Twitch can also use to get close to her enemies
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - SG-CQB with Reflex B and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Smoke Grenade

4. F2 with Scope 1.5x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + P9 with Suppressor + Claymore
The compensator barrel attachment specializes in reducing the recoil diamond size of weapons, and that results in lesser horizontal recoil and random recoil from all directions. The compensator as the barrel attachment for the F2 assault rifle can lead to a more stable shooting experience, especially in longer sprays. That’s because the F2’s recoil diamond starts getting bigger after the fourth shot, and its recoil pattern doesn’t just go on a straight vertical path. This is why for a lot of Twitch players; the compensator is the best barrel attachment for taming its rough recoil.
The vertical grip will maintain a good deal of vertical recoil control on the weapon, and the scope 1.5x will provide the user with a good amount of zoom level without putting her at a disadvantage at close range. That’s because the scope 1.5x won’t sacrifice a lot of peripheral view, so the user will still be able to see enemies that are coming from the sides well. The claymores are excellent utilities for protecting Twitch when she’s on observation tool mode for controlling his shock drones, and are great for scoring kills on roamers in general.
Excels in:
- Reducing the horizontal recoil of the F2 assault rifle as well as its tendency for random recoil from all directions
- Maintaining a good amount of vertical recoil control on the F2 assault rifle with the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Having a good amount of zoom level through the scope 1.5x while still not being at a disadvantage when it comes to side view
- Being able to shoot defender cameras and other gadgets with much less risk of alerting the enemies with the use of the suppressed P9 handgun
- Countering roamers, run outs, and flankers with the use of the two claymores in Twitch’s generic gadget slot
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - F2 with Scope 1.5x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Claymore

3. F2 with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + P9 with Suppressor + Claymore
For a lot of players, this attachment setup on the F2 assault rifle is the safest way when it comes to taming its rough recoil. That’s because both the flash hider and the vertical grip specializes in lowering the weapon’s vertical recoil. So, with this loadout setup, you’ll be maximizing the vertical recoil control on the F2, and for a lot of players, that goes a long way in controlling its horizontal recoil too. If the vertical weapon kick is weakened, the user will be able to focus more on controlling its horizontal recoil.
The flash hider will also remove the F2’s muzzle flash, and that lessens the visual cues that enemies could use to determine your exact location when you’re shooting them. A lot of weapons like the F2 have a strong muzzle flash, and sometimes that muzzle flash can negatively affect Twitch’s aim as well, because it could blur her view of the target. The scope 1.5x is a great sight for Twitch because it’s perfect for the distance she would usually be engaging her enemies, which would be close to medium range.
Excels in:
- Having the best vertical recoil control possible on the F2 assault rifle due to both the flash hider and vertical grip attachments
- Lessening the visual cues that enemies could react to by hiding the F2’s muzzle flash through the flash hider barrel attachment
- Having the perfect zoom level through the scope 1.5x for the distance where Twitch would be mostly engaging her enemies which would be close to medium range
- Being able to shoot defender cameras and other gadgets silently through the use of the suppressed P9 handgun
- Countering flankers, run outs, and roamers through the use of the two claymores in Twitch’s arsenal
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - F2 with Scope 1.5x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Claymore

2. 417 with Scope 3.0x, Muzzle Brake, Vertical Grip, and Laser + P9 with Suppressor + Smoke Grenade
This is the second-best loadout setup for Twitch because the 417-marksman rifle combined with the vertical grip and laser is just a monster at both close range and long-range. Obviously, the 417-marksman rifle will be great at long-range, well, because it’s a marksman rifle. It’s designed to be that way, especially with a scope 3.0x providing Twitch with very high zoom levels. But what may surprise a lot of you is that it’s actually very effective at close range as well. That’s because the 417-marksman rifle has the tightest hip fire among all marksman rifles in the game.
And of course, that inherently tight hip fire will even be tighter with a laser. That’s why with this setup, you’ll be able to hit your enemies at close range without even going into an aim-down-sight stance. That’s a really big advantage because that second that you don’t have to use for aiming at your opponent will most likely mean that you’ll be able to shoot him first. As for the generic gadget, the smoke grenades are great for defuser plant attempts, providing cover in general, and can be used by Twitch in order to get closer to her enemies.
Excels in:
- Having a tight hip fire on the 417-marksman rifle especially with the laser attachment which makes it very effective at close range
- Having a great amount of zoom level with the scope 3.0x which also provides a clear front view due to its frame that doesn’t take a lot of screen space
- Maintaining a great deal of vertical recoil control on the 417-marksman rifle through the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Being able to shoot enemy gadgets especially CCTV cameras with less risk of alerting enemies through the use of the suppressed P9 handgun
- Providing cover for the whole attacking team’s push and defuser plant attempts with the two smoke grenades in Twitch’s arsenal
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - 417 with Scope 3.0x, Muzzle Brake, Vertical Grip, and Laser
- Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Smoke Grenade
1. F2 with Scope 1.5x, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip + P9 with Suppressor + Claymore
The recent patch notes for the next season indicating that the devs are removing the vertical grip on Twitch’s F2 has a lot of Twitch players worried, and understandably so. However, upon testing the recoil of the F2 without a vertical grip, I found out that it remains very controllable as long as you use the best barrel attachment for it, which is the muzzle brake. Now I know that it’s rare for the muzzle brake to be the best barrel attachment for a fully automatic weapon, but the F2 assault rifle is a special case.
That’s because the F2 has a really strong vertical weapon kick on its first shot, and while the in-game description of the muzzle brake says it greatly lowers the recoil of single-shot firing weapons, it works on the first shot of fully automatic weapons as well. And lowering the first shot of the F2 assault rifle goes a long way to stabilizing its overall recoil. And since the next season won’t be coming for another month or so, I’ve decided to not remove the vertical grip for this guide, so that players can still use it for better insight in this current season.
Excels in:
- Having the most stable recoil on the F2 assault rifle by lowering its first shot recoil with the use of the muzzle brake barrel attachment
- Maintaining a great overall vertical recoil on the F2 assault rifle through the use of the vertical grip attachment
- Providing the user with a good amount of zoom through the scope 1.5x without sacrificing a lot of peripheral view
- Being able to shoot enemy gadgets especially CCTV cameras silently through the use of the suppressed P9 handgun
- Protecting yourself from roamers and run outs while controlling your Shock Drones with the use of the two claymores in your arsenal
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - F2 with Scope 1.5x, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip
- Secondary weapon - P9 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Claymore
