Who doesn’t love to use a shotgun? Everyone, no matter what game it is. They are always fun to use, and it’s always great to see your enemies get knocked back. The shotguns in Ready Or Not behave realistically, and they are mostly used in medium-to-close combat engagements.
On longer ranges, you’ll have a bit of an issue with the weapons, and you will want to leave that engagement to your friends or find a way to get close to them to deal the damage. There are a total of 4 shotguns in this game, so let’s rank them all!
3. 870 CQB
This shotgun is great in close quarters but has a slower rate of fire because its pump action. Which, as you might have realized, isn't that great against multiple targets. It does have some decent penetration.
It can be great against only single targets, but against two or more, you might run into a problem as you have to pump it. Thankfully, it doesn’t have a high recoil, so your arms won’t fly off when you shoot this thing.
What 870 CQB Excels In:
- It is great against single targets and targets who don’t have a lot of armor.
- It has some decent penetration, and it can go through a wall or a door.
- Doesn’t have a lot of recoil.
How To Get 870 CQB:
- If you go into the locker room you can obtain this shotgun under the shotgun category.
2. B1301 and “Entryman”
I’ll be putting the B1301 and “Entryman” variants in the same spot because there aren’t any differences in stats between the two. They are both the same shotgun, except the “Entryman” variant can be obtained when you purchase the supporter edition on Steam for 71 euros. When it comes to the shotgun, it’s semi-automatic.
It has a mediocre rate of fire, and it has some great penetration and range for a shotgun, but the only downside to it is that it has a slow reload speed. Since it’s semi-automatic, you can effectively take down multiple targets without a problem. The recoil of the weapon is a bit higher than the 870 CQB, but it is manageable.
What B1301 and “Entryman” Excel In:
- Great for taking down multiple targets at once.
- It’s semi-automatic.
- It has a decent rate of fire.
- The recoil of the weapon is manageable.
How To Get B1301 and “Entryman”:
- To obtain the B1301, head out over to the locker room and equip it from the shotgun section.
- If you want the “Entryman” variant, which is just the same shotgun with the same stats except with a bronze coating, you’ll have to get the supporter edition from the Steam store page.
1. M4 Super 90
If you want the best shotgun in the game, go for the M4 Super 90. This bad boy has a fast rate of fire, great penetration, and mediocre reload speed. It can hold up to 8 shells in total and uses 12 gauge slugs. Oh, and yes, this shotgun is semi-automatic.
Now the only downside is the damn recoil if you spam this thing. Look, you can take out a whole room of enemies with this shotgun.. Especially, if that recoil throws your arms off into the air. Not good at all.
What M4 Super 90 Excels In:
- Has the fastest rate of fire out of all the shotguns.
- Great penetration.
- It can hold up to 8 shells.
- Mediocre reload speed, which is faster than for the other shotguns.
- You can take out a whole room of bad guys.
How To Get M4 Super 90:
- You can obtain this shotgun from the shotgun category in the locker room.
