[Top 5] SWTOR Best Armor for Sith Inquisitor

SWTOR Best Armor for Sith Inquisitor
It's easy to show off your strength in the Force with a well-dressed character!

It’s no secret that the most powerful weapon in the Sith Inquisitor’s arsenal is their sense of fashion. Whether it’s flowing robes of solid gold or sleek form-favoring armor, the Inquisitor is not only sharp-tongued, but also sharply dressed. The truth of the matter is simply this: there’s a huge amount of cosmetic armor that is perfectly suited for the Inquisitor and their unique style, which we surely can’t fit into one single article. So, here’s some of the best armor sets currently around in Star Wars: The Old Republic that will make your own Inquisitor on par with the best of the well-dressed!

5. Inquisitor’s Exalted Armor Set

Shrug on the wraps of the Inquisitor with this form-fitting robe set, as you shroud your face in mystery behind your hood.

  • Since this armor is a part of the Inquisitor Legacy Vendor, it is only wearable by Sith Inquisitors themselves, making this a highly exclusive set.
  • Unfortunately for the ladies (or is it fortunately?), this armor does not come as a midriff covering set like it does for the men, and will undoubtedly show off your character’s belly.

This particular set comes from the Inquisitor Legacy vendor (Lord Abryl) located on Dromund Kaas within Kaas City. The total cost is 1,200,000 in-game credits. The Grand Inquisitor set is very similar to this one, with its major differences occurring in the shoulder pads and the mask, and can also be bought from the Adaptive Gear vendor on Fleet. Grand Inquisitor is probably the cheapest of the lot to buy outright ( 70,000 in-game credits total), though you can always test your luck by simply running through heroics while leveling to get a similar-looking set (Force-Lord’s Thermal) without spending a credit. My advice is definitely to check the GTN’s Light Armor section, as you’re sure to find similar looking armor for fairly cheap there as well.

4. Hallowed Gothic Armor Set

Highly stylized, this set is sure to make a statement wherever you go. There’s absolutely nothing quite like it in all of SWTOR, making it a unique fashion choice.

  • An interesting hybridized mix of Dread equipment and true Gothic attire, this set is one of a kind, with flashy gold accents.
  • While the headpiece is arguably one of the sillier looking helms in the game, it’s definitely one of the rarest, making it almost unseen in public places. Acquiring one is sure to turn heads.

This set can be bought from Barleos Choid on Oricon, the Reputation Vendor for the aforementioned planet. The total cost is 315,000 in-game credits for the set, and you must have Champion Standing with The Dread Executioners to purchase it. The headpiece is not for sale, and only exists as a drop from a rare spawn on Oricon, called the Harbinger of Fear.

3. XoXaan’s Armor Set

You’ll look as if you’ve walked out of Sith history itself while donning the robes of the legendary XoXaan. Completely dyeable and flattering for both men and women, this set is sure to get some approving stares.

  • Primal and ancient-looking, this set is great for cosplaying as a Nightsister or looking as if you’ve risen from the Sith grave to chase after eternal life!
  • Male characters are able to wear this set as well, and will show off their muscles in the chestpiece!

This armor set in particular is a Cartel Market exclusive. Currently, it is up for sale on the CM for 2,600 Cartel Coins. Always keep your eyes peeled for flash sales, which will reduce the cost of the armor set extensively. Generally, you can also find this set for sale on the Galactic Trade Network (GTN), where another player will put it up for an asking price. As of this article’s posting, the current price for this set on the GTN is around 55 million in-game credits.

2. Remnant Dreadguard Inquisitor Set

Not quite robes, and not quite armor, this sleek set is sure to show off your character’s figure while protecting all the important parts.

  • Perfect for the agile Assassin, this armor set looks as if it was made to move with your acrobatic character as you slice your way through the galaxy.
  • The good news about this particular style of armor, is that this is not the only version available to you as the player! If you’re playing a Sorcerer, the best set bonus for you comes on the Gathering Storm armor set available from the Tech Fragment vendors on Fleet, which is basically this same armor set, but black. It’s much more expensive, but it doubles as the perfect set bonus. You’ll hit harder, and look good doing it, too!

This set drops from Locked Supply Crates of the Alien Research variety (these are the rewards you get from some heroics once you’re fully leveled that you turn in to Doctor Oggurub on Odessen), and though you can’t guarantee the drop, you’ll be making money as you earn the crates via heroics. Essentially, this set is free!

1. Chaotic Force-Master’s Armor

Truly look as if you’ve risen from the Dread-Seeded areas of the galaxy in these mystical robes.

  • With some interesting glowy bits, this armor will make one believe you are imbued with pure Force energy when they come face-to-face with you on the battlefield.
  • Like with most armor sets, this look can be found elsewhere if you’re not completely down with this version. Available via the GTN to players who have achieved 60 Valor through PvP is the Battlemaster Force-Mystic’s set, which looks exactly like the armor the Dread Masters themselves wear!

This set is available on the Cartel Market for 1,440 Cartel Coins. You can find it on the GTN for around 10 million in-game credits give or take, depending on which server you call home.
