Deadpool’s mask

Deadpool is a beloved character in the Marvel universe. He was basically a witcher to begin with. Experimented on against his will, then gaining super powers that make him practically unkillable; who does that sound like? 

I wanted to start off the list with one of the sillier mods. Existing just for the kicks and giggles, the mod is supposed to be paired with ‘Deadpool’s suit’. For those who can’t get enough of the masked crusader.

High Quality faces 

In computer graphics, Level of Detail (LOD) affects the visual quality of objects in a video game. When designing larger levels or entire worlds, the developers are often limited by the hardware their game will be played on, hence objects that are far away are rendered with fewer polygons than objects that are closer.

Instead of retexturing characters, this mod increases the LOD of faces and draw distance of the eyes by ten times of the original game without any noticeable performance hits.

Barber shops are a place for gossip, social interaction and public discourse. So, walk right in and partake in the culture as the barber takes care of all your grooming needs. Ancient Leshen Holiday mod

Leshens in the Witcher 3 are ancient and powerful forest spirits. They are described as creatures that live only to kill. Perhaps one of the scariest enemies in the game, leshens have an air of something deeply unsettling shrouding them. Now imagine them a bit more christmas-y. The mod gives the now, not so terrifying beast, reindeer antlers, christmas lights and a wreath.

Geralt goes face to face with dopplers during the contract ‘Skellige’s most wanted’ and ‘an elusive thief’. According to the bestiary, they are hideous creatures who can shape shift into anyone or any beast that they’ve encountered.

The eyes of a witcher are fascinating, almost similar to a cat’s and allowing them to see in the dark. Although the Witcher 3 is considered an RPG, it offers relatively little control over Geralt’s story or appearance and rightfully so. Geralt has always been a bit of a bad boy, well now he looks like one. Say goodbye to the ashen hair and unleash the big bad wolf. The mod recolours the hair, beard and face. I personally love the new look; it makes him seem broodier than ever before.

Yennefer is one of the most popular characters in the Witcher franchise. If you’d prefer your true love – no, that is not up fro debate – to have the face of Anya Chalotra’s, this is the mod for you. 

Cast as Yennefer in Netflix’s Witcher series, her success was bound to spill over to the Witcher 3. Putting aside some controversial writing decisions regarding the character, Anya’s performance was absolutely phenomenal.

Henry Cavill was born to play the role of Geralt. Thankfully we have mods that can plaster his face over in-game Geralt’s, so you can be moody and self-deprecating while looking prettier. 

It manages to capture the Witcher 3’s art style pretty well. Even including the iconic striga scar across his eye.
