In the world of streaming and content creation, asking a simple question about a game you play can be answered with just a tap away. Things like how to get said item and if this is good or bad is easily shown as soon as you hit the search button. For those wanting more visual representation to these searches, especially guides, then YouTube is the perfect place to find videos that can help you with the game. With many content creators out there, the question now becomes, who should I look for to help me? With this list, you should be able to know a few of the more established content creators out there to make your Valheim knowledge, a little more known, as well as show the spotlight into the creators that make Valheim content, big or small.
As with all Valheim lists, this was written at the time of the games’ latest version (version 0.206.5) with this list being in no particular order. It is important to note that some names may be missing and may be added in future content.
10. TheProGinge
We start with a small channel that creates big ideas for your base. TheProGinge is a channel that, while doesn’t have too much content, the quality is up there with many established channels. As for the content, it shows a chill side to the presentation with relaxing music being played while the base is crafted to a satisfactory finish. Best of all, no mobs to interrupt while all this is happening. Again, should you want to take a look at ideas for model houses, this channel’s content makes you build like a pro, as it’s in the name.

9. Quicksand Riggs
Quicksand Riggs’ channel aims to help new and existing players alike, with videos more towards the commentary and how-to type videos. While Valheim hasn’t received a major update in quite a while, he keeps it up by making the content of the state of the game. Common questions like if it is worth it are topics he covers with a personal insight as to how it is. If you do wish to know more about the game as either someone new to it or a returning player, then do give his channel a look.
8. SmittySurvival
Another Valheim content creator with a big focus on builds, SmittySurvival has extremely detailed builds for a specific type of structure and even builds for a specific biome. With long step-by-step commentary and personal thoughts, anyone attempting the structures he builds will not be left behind. If you wish to look for the amazing base builds for your needs, or other content like Grounded, then do check his channel out.

7. Nickrawcliffe
NickRawcliffe takes a different approach to the game in which he sets himself apart by being one of the few creators to speedrun the game. Valheim’s ongoing changes, varied world generation, and early access nature keeps it fresh every major update, making something like speedrunning tough to do. Not only has NickRawcliffe done a few world records, but continues to beat it whenever he can, adding small challenges for himself to keep things different, and still does so, even as recent as a few days ago. While Valheim is his game of choice to speedrun, he has also done speedruns for games like the old Resident Evil 2 game. To check his speedruns, check his Twitch or see the VoD on his YouTube page linked below.

6. AKERMAN
Another channel that has great Valheim content is AKERMAN, which gives great explanatory style content towards various things in Valheim. In addition to the usual ranking things in Valheim videos, a few of the videos he has are about things that are experimental and don’t always have much thought to a regular player but definitely welcomed for the curious. Ever thought if a tamed Lox has enough to kill the first boss, Eitkthyr? Or how many wolves can kill Bonemass? If you always wondered (or have now wondered) about the answer, AKERMAN may have the answers for your conundrum, and his channel is listed below.

5. Kysen
A plethora of Valheim content is what Kysen has, ranging from guides to builds, and the occasional streams. He has a lot of content for Valheim, and sometimes takes it upon his community or himself to give out great unique content such as blindfold boss fights and a treehouse building contest where the actual devs of the game are the ones judging someone’s treehouse. Very recently he has done a stream where he has cosplayed as a Viking, taking the look of one of the armors in the game. In addition to Valheim, Minecraft is also one of the games he covers, so if you wish to check his channel out, the link to his YouTube page is listed below.

4. One Last Midnight
On a more informative side to content, One Last Midnight does rundowns to Valheim’s updates by running through the games’ changes whenever available as well as giving details on what changes have been done and lines it up one by one. He usually plays on modded servers and streams it to his audience allowing you to see what a modded version of Valheim looks and performs like. Currently, he does Astroneer whenever Valheim isn’t on, and if you wish to see both games or his content in general, the link to his channel is down below.

3. FireSpark81
With a focus on base builds, FireSpark81 does a lot of Valheim content around making great-looking areas from otherwise, old destroyed existing areas in the world. One of his videos, which is broken down in episodes, is restoring abandoned Draugr villages, which many people just loot and forget in the game. Seeing the changes to the area and how he brings back to life an otherwise dead area is satisfying, to say the least. Other than that, he does the usual things with Valheim like news, how-to’s, top 10’s, etc. He does other games as well like Project Zomboid and Conan’s Exiles which you can view on his channel linked down below.

2. JadePG
Jade PG is one of the content creators you’ll probably be familiar with when searching Valheim and he usually has a lot of things covered when something new comes out. From how-to guides to news updates, he has most of these covered as soon as they come out. One of the early content creators in Valheim and one source for content you’d likely follow on. As stated on his about, he does survival games, so in addition to Valheim, he does games such as Grounded, Ark 2, Day-Z, and the like. Check out his channel if you wish to look at his content, which is listed below.

1. ESO
One of the more recognizable names on this list, ESO’s content has been featured a lot whenever you search things about Valheim. ESO (aka. ESO Danny) does RPG games as his main content but does the usual popular games as well. With regards to Valheim, he does very good how-to guides as they tend to be relatively comprehensive as he also shows what needs to be done on camera often, giving a better idea of what you need to do. Again, with Valheim’s current limited scope, being the first ones to show how things are done makes you a very respected source

Honorable Mention
Markiplier
As a nice side bonus to the creators we have above, it’s also surprising to note that one of the biggest gaming YouTube personalities, Markiplier, has played Valheim in its early launch. Alongside his friends Bob (muyskerm) and Wade (LordMinion777), they showed what is essentially every new player’s run, random wandering, fun banter, and a lot of chaos.

Conclusion:
With Valheim approaching a year old, the content will surely fill up and it will be a given that any of these creators will be on it the moment it goes live. Again, I’m sure I don’t have most of the more respected creators in this sole list as the sheer number of content creators out there can be overwhelming, and for Valheim, it is a good thing as the more people we have putting time and effort into this game, the better informed we are because of it. For now, we all hope that Valheim, and in turn people making content for the game, will continue to develop as this is an amazing game that people should try or at least glance at it. Till then, we hope to see more amazing videos for this game and do consider a sub for the YouTubers who do such work.
