Welcome everyone to this ranking of daggers in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey! If you are a fan of daggers then you should certainly enjoy this article. I am myself a huge fan of daggers and I always use them, so let me present to you my opinion on the best ones in the game!

1. Edge of Time (Good)

The Edge of Time Dagger wielded by Kassandra

Go check this weapon out:

The Edge of Time is a legendary dagger. Both beautiful and deadly at the same time, it makes for a perfect weapon to use. Swift in killing and boosting Assassin Damage, these main perks create a truly great gear to use with an Assassin Build.

If you are a fan of Assassin Builds, you have invested in Assassin Abilities and you rely on stealth, then the Edge of Time will greatly complement your gameplay. For me, it was not as useful, since its extra boost was not useful at all, but other than that Edge of Time is a very strong weapon.

Edge of Time Strengths:
  • boosts Assassin Damage
  • boosts Adrenaline per Hit
  • reduces cooldowns
  • looks badass
  • perfect for Assassin Builds

How to get Edge of Time:

To obtain Edge of Time you will have to progress the first episode of the DLC “Legacy of the First Blade. Your objective throughout the first episode will be finding the Huntsman. After you successfully beat him and finish the quest “Protector of Persia” you will receive this dagger.

Edge of Time Stats:

  • Stats for level: 55
  • 3053 DPS
  • +17% Assassin Damage
  • +18% Adrenaline per Hit
  • Reduces all Cooldowns by 10% on successful Parry
  • Description: “Dagger of Pactyas, the Huntsman. An exquisite, filigreed blade, as deadly as it is beautiful.”

2. Atlantean Blade (Strong)

The legendary Atlantean Blade

You can see this video to see the dagger in action:

The Atlantean Blade is a truly special dagger in AC Odyssey. You can get it through a specific, seemingly unimportant questline but yet it is so worth it. A perfect weapon to use when you like to supplement your offensive with additional Hunter Damage.

This particular dagger is very well-balanced for me, as it boosts different things and allows me for a diverse style of play. I used it a lot after getting it and it allowed me to be very flexible. I could easily deal damage from far away with a bow, but at the same time, I could take a lot of enemies at once and fight them off successfully.

Atlantean Blade Strengths:

  • boosts Hunter Damage
  • boosts CRIT Damage
  • boosts Armor Penetration
  • well-balanced perks
  • suits a flexible style of play

How to get Atlantean Blade:

To get this dagger you will have to complete Phidias’s quest line which starts with “The Message, the Stick, and the Artist”. Complete all the quests and at the end of the last one you will be able to get the blade. The last quest from Phidias’s line is called “A Journey’s End” so be sure to finish it.

Atlantean Blade stats:

  • Stats for level: 51
  • 2688 DPS
  • +17% Hunter Damage
  • +30% CRIT Damage
  • +30% Armor Penetration
  • Description: “It’s true that some who use this blade feel surges of mystical power.”

3. The Greek Hello (Strong)

To see the weapon in action see:

This dagger is a little bit extra on our list. You cannot get it regularly like all the other daggers but when you do get it, it is really useful. It has some great stats and can be very useful for your style of play.

Personally, this weapon is very good for me. It is strictly offensive and lets you deal more damage at your own expense. I love such gambles, so overall this weapon is great for me and its stats combine very well with my style of play.

The Greek Hello strengths:

  • boosts Assassin Damage
  • boosts CRIT Damage
  • gives you better offensive in exchange for health
  • unique weapon not everyone can get

How to get The Greek Hello:

There are in practice two ways to get The Greek Hello. The first one is to buy it from the Helix Store. The second way is to search for it and try finding it at the Oikos of the Olympians’ shop. To see the guide on getting it see this video:

The Greek Hello stats:

  • Stats for level: 50
  • 2599 DPS
  • +15% Assassin Damage
  • +5% CRIT Damage
  • +15% All Damage, but -15% Health
  • Description: “Most know "chaire" as the classic greeting, but the more dubious would rather say hello with a stab from this.”

4. Dagger of Kronus (Very Strong)

The Dagger of Kronus - a truly fitting weapon for an assassin

You can see this weapon in action here:

The Dagger of Kronus is probably the best dagger you can use in the game for a typical Assassin Build. If that is your style of play, then you definitely have to get Dagger of Kronus. A truly deadly weapon, perfect for any assassin and boosting the best aspects of Assassin Build.

I have used it a few times and when I was playing the game using an Assassin Build, the Dagger of Kronus was my number one weapon. It boosts all the important aspects, it gives a great advantage to playing stealthily and it is simply an awesome weapon. I certainly recommend it to you.

Dagger of Kronus Strengths:

  • boosts Warrior Damage
  • boosts Damage with Daggers
  • adds Damage when Attacking from Behind
  • the perfect weapon for Assassin Builds
  • benefits the combat with its abilities

How to get Dagger of Kronus:

Getting the Dagger of Kronus is fairly straightforward. You will first have to eliminate all the members of the Eyes of Kosmos. After this is done you will uncover the location and identity of the Sage, Nyx the Shadow. Kill her in order to receive the Dagger of Kronus.

Dagger of Kronus stats:

  • Stats for level: 55
  • 3053 DPS
  • +17% Warrior Damage
  • +18% Damage with Daggers
  • +40% Damage when Attacking from Behind
  • Description: “In the myths, using this dagger adds insult to injury. In one slash, Kronus castrated and deposed his father, Uranus.”

5. Arachne’s Stingers (Powerful)

The Arachne’s Stingers, the most poisonous dagger in the game

You can see the guide on how to get this dagger and you can also see it in action here:

The best dagger in the game? Might be and at least for me it definitely is. Arachne’s Stingers is the perfect weapon for anyone who likes to use a quick and deadly weapon that is poisonous at the same time. It is one of the most lethal combinations in the whole Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Obviously, for me, this dagger is the best one in the game. It has everything that I love about the daggers and it supplements my style of play perfectly. I love to play with Poison Abilities, I love to deal Poison Damage and I always try to go with a lot of Assassin Abilities so this weapon is perfect for me.

Arachne’s Stinger’s strengths:

  • boosts Assassin Damage
  • boosts Poison Damage
  • turns Weapon Damage to Poison Damage
  • is a perfect weapon for Assassin Builds
  • can be used ideally with Assassin and Poison Abilities

How to get Arachne’s Stingers:

Probably the best part about Arachne’s Stingers is that there isn't any complex way to get it. To obtain the dagger you will have to find the mercenary with “The Weaver” in their name. If you don’t see anyone like that on your list, just try hunting down mercenaries and eventually, you will find the one with “The Weaver” in their name.

Arachne’s Stingers stats:

  • Stats for level: 50
  • 2599 DPS
  • +15% Assassin Damage
  • +20% Poison Damage
  • Weapon Damage becomes Poison Damage
  • Description: “A flow of poison oozes from the blades, making them dangerous for both the wielder and their target.”

Finally, let me know what your favorite dagger is. Share your opinion, write it down in the comments, and let’s see if your ranking is similar to mine. Enjoy the game and go get those great daggers!

10. Walder and the FreysHad a taste of what the Freys been dishing out. Walder Frey was more of a pawn of the Lannisters, who really are the masterminds of the Red Wedding, but he still boasts of killing Rob and Catelyn Stark under his roof—which attracted the attention of newly trained assassin Arya Stark. Now Arya could have gone a simple route of just poisoning Walder and escaping, but she instead wanted to make it more personal. Instead of just killing him and being done with it she fed him his own children In a pie and slit open his throat—the same way her own mother was killed (minus the pies). She didn’t stop there. Disguising herself as Walder Frey, in one fell swoop, killed off every single (male) Frey with poisoned wine. Single-handedly causing the extinction of a House and bringing long awaited justice for the Starks and the North. The Red WeddingDeath of Walder FreyMassacre of the Freys9. Joffrey BaratheonGetting choked up at his own wedding. Continuing with the theme of poison, killer women, and pies, Joffrey Baratheon’s death was short but ever so satisfying to watch. After the bastard King irked us even further with his torment over everyone’s favorite Half-man, the audience received a small sign of hope when Joffrey started coughing. Then the series of coughs turned to chocking. Falling to the ground on his own wedding, eyes blood red, chucks of vomit and pie spewing from his mouth, and his skin turning purple. The viewer got a close-up of Joffrey painfully clinging onto his last moments, watching as the life leaves his eyes in a gruesome end. Though the downside to this is the fallout of his death; especially with him screwing over Tyrion by pointing at him as he dies (though he probably was pointing at the cup in his hand) and leaving him to be tried for murder. Bad for Tyrion but good for everyone to be rid of Joffrey. Joffrey's 9 douchiest momentsThe Purple Wedding
