Who are the strongest Street Fighter 6 villains?
In the world of Street Fighter, the duality between good and evil is ever evident, with few characters really staying in the grey area.
Throughout the years, many villains have crossed paths with the World Warriors, with each of them having a unique personality and ludicrous agenda. Street Fighter is yet to be released, but this list is based on what we can expect from the little we know.
5. Bosch
Bosch does not seem to be so evil, to be honest, but he will be the protagonist's main rival in the World Tour story, which makes him an antagonist by default.
Like the player’s created character, Bosch too is a pupil of Luke and is just starting to learn about how to hit the streets in Metro City. He wasn’t presented yet as a playable character, but we wouldn’t be so surprised if he ends up being selectable.
As a student learning the art of fighting, Bosch has to be the weakest of the antagonists in Capcom’s upcoming game, and we can’t wait to unveil his backstory.
4. A.K.I
After the final death of M. Bison and the subsequent fall of Shadaloo, F.A.N.G fled to China, reflecting on his collapsed dreams of ruling under Bison.
There, he was lured into a trap by a prostitute and her partner in crime, who tried to blackmail F.A.N.G. The poison assassin quickly reverted the situation and threatened them with his dagger. The prostitute became fascinated by the dagger and asked F.A.N.G to teach her about it, as unbeknownst to her, it held the poison assassin's secrets.
F.A.N.G took her in and renamed her Phantom, thus beginning her training as a poison assassin, and all indicates that A.K.I is this character indeed, now fully matured.
3. Juri
Juri Han debuted in Super Street Fighter IV and quickly became a fan favorite. She lost her left eye and her family to Shadaloo and subsequently had the powerful Feng Shui Engine implanted in her missing eye. Working for S.I.N., she ended up betraying her leader, Seth and kept following her own, twisted, personal agenda.
With a sadistic and obnoxious personality, this Taekwondo practitioner is an edgy anti-hero who is just starting a new life after the demise of M. Bison in the previous entry of the series.
At this point she can’t even be considered a full-on baddie, but we can’t call her a good girl just yet, so here she is.
2. JP
JP seems to be replacing M. Bison as the freshest main villain and final boss for Street Fighter. The man is shrouded in mystery and we can’t wait to solve it.
He seems to use Psycho Power in combat and the true extent of his roots in the main Street Fighter story remains undisclosed. It’s interesting to note that his build is similar to Q and G and that he also is named with alphabetic initials.
JP fights with a cane and he seems to be a menace for all characters, being able to place energy voids on selected positions and then make them hit the opponent or teleport himself to said voids. He fights mostly with only one arm, hinting at just how much power the man possesses. He might even be more powerful than Akuma, but we’ll have to wait and see.
1. Akuma
Akuma, known as Gouki in Japan, only wants one thing: to keep honing his skills at the cost of his own humanity, fully embracing the dark nature of the Satsui no Hado, and constantly searching for powerful opponents to test his skills. Appearing for the first time as a hidden secret boss in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Akuma has grown to become a mainstay not only in every Street Fighter game, but he has actually commonly seen in many other fighting games, from even rival developers.
Akuma is the brother of Ryu and Ken’s master, Gouken, and he represents absolute consumption by Stastui no Hado. In the lore of the series, Akuma is arguably the most powerful being in the world and many of the other characters have engaging, intricate relationships with him.
Street Fighter 6 is yet to be released and many more characters shall be presented to us, so there’s no really telling how this list might look in just a few months.
So far the game is looking like the perfect Street Fighter package, so we can safely assume that new Street Fighter 6 villains will be just as great. And of course, we shall revisit some familiar faces that will undoubtedly make their return throughout the next few years in SF6.
