Dynastic Cycle

It has been brought down for many generations.

Many Legendary skins are large and can restrict visibility for players. The R301’s Dynastic Cycle isn’t one of them. It maintains a high level of detail and intricacy while not expanding on the R301’s slim footprint.

Unlike Dynastic Cycle, the R99’s Alchemist skin greatly restricts visibility with it’s outward facing spikes, but that’s what players love about it. Such an audacious display of aggression is perfect for the close quarters combat the R99 demands.

The skin makes the gun feel truly different and legendary from any other skin.

The Lifesaver

Lifeline? More like flatline.

Widely regarded as one of the best weapon skins in the game, the Kraber’s Lifesaver skin changes almost every aspect of the weapon. It’s almost as if the Lifesaver tells a story, \ of life outside the arena.

Finding a Kraber can be hard, but the Legendary skin is so cool it’s almost worth it.
Saving lives is the opposite of what you’ll be doing.
Mountain Rescue, another Kraber skin, is very similar to Lifesaver, so players have a good chance of getting something they’ll like in a loot box.

The Superstar

Like something out of an 80s thriller.

The Superstar looks like nothing else Apex Legends has to offer. It’s electric pink and star-dotted color scheme bring about feelings of the 1980s. One handed, Terminator style reloads are recommended for maximum 80s feel.

The only skin even close to The Superstar’s aesthetic is Wraith’s Void Specialist skin.
Players lucky enough (or rich enough) to purchase both should rock the all pink look.

The Pride

The Prejudice is all black.

The RE-45’s Pride skin is a great example of a weapon’s footprint drastically increasing. On the bright side, the RE-45 is so small it almost doesn’t matter. The skin is just as glorious as it is ridiculous, but it doesn’t impact gameplay.

Only a few weapon skins have an animal theme, so seeing The Pride is refreshing.

The Death Ray

The name says it all.

Following the sci-fi aesthetic of some other top skins, the Wingman’s Death Ray is a great retro-inspired ray gun skin.

You feel like you’re zapping lasers instead of shooting lead.

Bloodhound has some amazing skins, so picking the best one for him is difficult. Some players like the all black Plague Doctor, and others enjoy the limited time season pass skins. Blacklung*

Caustic’s Blackheart is easily the most intimidating skin Apex Legends has to offer. Not only is Caustic’s player model massive, but he takes 15% less damage than other Legends. Seeing a Blackheart barreling down a hallway on bunker is a terrifying sight.

Storming the beaches of Capitol City since 1945.

Gibraltar is a rarely used Legend, but he can’t be excluded. Somewhere out there is a Gibraltar main that wants validation from his incredible skins. They’re all amazing, but Bunker Buster stands out among the rest.

The 1940s theme is unlike anything else in the game.
The low helmet and high rising armor make him look unfriendly and intimidating, which is unlike his other skins.

The Masked Dancer

He's going to enchant enemies with a spell for DCing.

Everyone and their dog has The Hired Gun skin, so seeing The Masked Dancer on the battlefield is fun and almost distracting. The colors are great, even from a distance.

The exotic, bird of paradise/islander aesthetic is unique to Apex Legends.
Masks in Apex have proven to be extremely popular, and a good way to make the character model feel different.
Crypto’s goofy run animation looks even better when he looks like a bird.

Blade Runner 2049 anyone?

Wattson generated quite a bit of buzz (pun intended), as she was one of the first new character editions to the game. Her defensive playstyle is unique in a mass of offensive characters.

Her player model is right in the middle of the Uncanny Valley, making it the most disturbing skin in the game.
