Regardless of how you feel about Ellie, Joel and Abby’s journey in this massive sequel to Naughty Dog’s beloved IP, there’s no denying that The Last of Us Part II is a total, immersive experience that really challenges your grit and implants you in a world of chaotic beauty through the torn streets of Seattle.
Ellie is out for revenge, but this is no typical revenge story and succeeds in challenging players' allegiances for better and for worse. Stakes are high and you’ll have to use everything in your disposal to dish out vengeance to any asshole that gets in your way. Quite cathartic actually.

Okay, so this one goes back two gens. Still, GTA 5 is the first of the GTA’s to stand the test of time on three generations of consoles. It’s online component is going strong and picking up the lives of Michael, Franklin and Trevor in a fully realized Los Santos has never looked better.
Sure you can find its age if you look hard enough, but you’re still in for everything from a literal blast of rocket launching lunatics to the scenic valleys of Mount Chiliad all the while building your criminal empire. Who could ask for more?

Our heroes are back and more badass than ever in Capcom’s follow-up to the critically acclaimed, Devil May Cry 4. Dante, Nero and newcomer, V, head out to stop Urizen from decimating the human world.
The gameplay is slick and one of the best hack and slash/shooter experiences out there. With an insane array of gadgets and arsenals among three protagonists you’ll definitely have a hard time putting the controller down for this one.

Valhalla takes you deep into the ancient battles of Norse history, and it's about time the world of AC took its players to the badassery of the viking era. If you’re a fan of AC’s seafaring combat, parkour, gorgeous landscapes and riveting drama, then AC Valhalla shall not disappoint.

Toys for Bob were really put to the test on this one, too see how they can follow up from Naughty’s Dog’s master trilogy, and guess what, they succeeded. This is a direct sequel to Crash Bandicoot Warped where Crash and team have to save the world from a complete tear in time.
Crash Bandicoot 4 is as smooth and fun as the trilogy remake and Toys for Bob really knew how to keep the spirit of Naughty Dogs' vision from over two decades ago with both fresh and familiar features, a perfect follow up to veterans and newcomers alike.

Players will be thrusted in an explosive war for control with dynamic characters and weaponry. You’ll definitely feel like you're part of something big with characters you love and Giancarlo Esposito brings his cruel charisma to his role as he does every other time he’s played the big bad.

Just when you think the horror in the Resident Evil franchise couldn’t get any zanier, Capcom releases Village, full of twists and turns that not even a veteran player could see coming. Ethan Winters is back following the events from RE7 where he is forced to scour a run-down, spooked-out village to search for his kidnapped daughter.
Gunplay, horror and boss fights are super satisfying in this chilling adventure. Exploration is very rewarding, gifting you with useful resources that compliment Ethan’s more seasoned abilities. And of course, Village shines where all RE games do in its haunting atmosphere, environmental design and introduces you to the very creepy yet somehow sexy, Lady Dimitrescu.

In this endearing spin-off to Little Big Planet, Sackboy finds himself having to save his village from the evil Vex. This game puts a lot of focus on co-op level design and offers a fresh new take on the old formula.
The aesthetics pop for your eyes delight, and offer a rich variety of levels from ancient backdrops to futuristic spaceports. The music will make you want to groove with funk beats and epic scores and gameplay is fun, zany and cute and is sure to be loved by any fan of the original Little Big Planet.

So few Star Wars games have been able to thrust you into the world of the galaxy far, far away with true Jedi authenticity, but this one certainly does. The story revolves around Jedi Padawan, Cal Kestis, who’s being hunted by the Galactic Empire during his training in a time when the Jedi are trying to rebuild their order.
Fallen Order provides players with a healthy variety of gameplay features from platforming, puzzles and huge action set pieces. It’s never been more satisfying to wield a lightsaber and deflect enemy attacks like a seasoned space ninja, warrior monk. It may be a generation old, but it holds up pretty well.

If you’re a fan of 2018’s Spider-Man, this next chapter to quench our spidey-thirst before Spider-Man 2 is the perfect game for you. Peter Parker is on a well deserved vacation and now you get to swing as Miles as he finds his own identity.
The storytelling is fresh and does Miles justice without rehashing the first game and swinging is just as addictive as ever. Everything wraps up nicely and the stage is set perfectly for the next installment.

It would seem its primetime for Insomniac Games as they’ve done it again with another installment of Ratchet & Clank. In Rift Apart we see our heroes having to hop interdimensional space after Dr. Nefarious literally “rifts” the universe apart.
To say the gameplay is fun and smooth would be an understatement. Given the timey-wimey tools at your disposal this game is an adrenaline rush of a shoot ‘em and beat ‘em ups but somehow still knows how to fill you with heart and feel good moments.

This is where gaming meets cinema in the perfect marriage of rich storytelling and gratifying gameplay. Ghost of Tsushima takes place in feudal Japan where you play as Jin Sakai, a samurai on a quest to protect his island from the first Mongol invasion.
Ghost of Tsushima must be among the top samurai games of all time and brings legendary film director, Akira Kurosawa’s style to the gaming world in the most graceful and respectful way possible. Japan is vast with endless, rewarding content and you’ll definitely feel like a badass samurai by the end of this gripping tale of loyalty and determination.

They did it! Spider-Man delivers on everything you’d expect from a post-Arkham, superhero IP. Here, Peter Parker is a veteran hero and must take on foes old and new to keep New York safe.
The best aspect of the game is the swinging mechanics, and being able to traverse the airways of the big apple has never been made more satisfying and addictive than it is here. Combat is as slick as Spider-Man himself, and the wise-cracking web-crawler is top notch as ever. And we can’t forget all of the gut wrenching character moments that take place throughout the narrative that provides a classic Spider-Man story for years to come.
