Travel to different areas in the Paldea region and experience the three story paths you can follow while they all slowly merge into one at the end.
Once you’ve completed the main story, feel free to get started with the paid dlc as it lets you explore two new areas each with over 100 more pokemon for you to catch. There’s also a brand new story exclusive to these areas that revolves around a few legendary pokemon. If you still want more to do, you could always try your hand at battling in raid battles where you team up with others to fight an incredibly strong boss pokemon or competitive battles where you test your handmade teams against other players. Get ready to explore the cosmos in an MMO Fps Space simulator by the name of Star Citizen.
There’s 4 modes in the game currently but the main focus is on persistent universe which combines all other three modes into one multiplayer game. So create an avatar and choose whatever activity you want to pursue whether it be trading, bounty hunting, mining, or mission completion. You have to be careful though as the in game law system will be keeping track of your every move and will fine you if they catch you breaking their space laws.
There’s tons of planets for you to explore, each with their own distinct biome and even gravitational pull for you to mess around with. So head to a landing zone, buy or rent a ship, and get to exploring as you can travel anywhere you’d like with no loading screens so your adventure is never abruptly interrupted.

Before you spawn, pick your appearance, occupation, and traits and depending on that, you will have various skills at your disposal to help you survive. Of course, you can always learn more from watching tv, reading books, or trial and error. You don’t have to do it alone either, get friends to join you and thrive together or join a public server and meet the wonderful community.
Resources in this world are limited so scavenge through ruined towns. Taking all the food, water, and tools you can as you try to set up a base for you to survive longer. The zombies will try their best to claw at you and bite you in hopes of infecting you but eventually you become used to it as it all becomes part of the daily cycle. However, the more days pass then the less you will hear from civilization as you realize there is no one coming to save you or your friends.
The thing I like about this game the most is that it’s the most realistic depiction of the end of the world I’ve ever seen. There is no life changing cure or amazing machine, you just have to keep living in the world as it is now.

If you like fast paced action with fun iconic characters then valorant will be a great time for you.
Pick an agent, each from a different culture and a fun personality to match. Each agent has unique abilities and an ultimate that requires them to charge it up. Start the match with a small basic pistol and upgrade into an assortment of weapons using the in-game economy system.
There’s the standard mode which is played as a best of 25 in which whichever team wins 13 rounds by planting a bomb called the spike or eliminating the opposing team will then win the game. There’s also spike rush and swift play which are much shorter of the games only being a best of 7 and a best of 5 respectively while also having slight effects like ultimates charging faster than normal. Finally, there’s competitive matches in which you can raise your rank from the beginning Iron all the way to the majestic radiant.
So gather your friends and play for fun or grind up your rank as this game will definitely keep you hooked for hours.

Choose from one of various locations for you to spawn and choose a weapon from a variety of melee and ranged weapons. Not only that, you also have a multipurpose grappling hook you can use to traverse or battle as well as a special ability depending on which character you pick. This lets you experiment with your playstyle as you get comfortable with the game.
As you battle and travel through the map, something known as shadow corruption spreads and forces players into the middle. The game has a cool system where if you die before the first round of corruption then you can respawn at one of the soul altars throughout the map. You can also play solo or in a trio and if you’re in a group then your teammates can revive you at any time. The gameplay flows well and is super satisfying when you can pull off combos so do your best to master the controls and you’ll be climbing the ranks as a martial arts master in no time.

21. Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8

Immerse yourself in history as you choose to play as one of over 1,000 officers during this turbulent period of time.
Any of the officers you choose to play as can become the main character depending on how much you play them and the choices you make with them. Attend special parliaments held once every three months as governors decide how they will rule their territories for the foreseeable future whether it be through diplomacy or battle. Two officers can build their relationship to either be positive or negative through the tales system. This is entirely optional as you can pick which tales you want to proceed with and which ones you want to skip.
As tales are formed and bonds are deepend two warriors in the what of battle may forge a link between that as their relationship solidifies so something stronger than iron. A forged link can provide positive effects in domestics and in battles when both officers are together. This all happens on a highly immersive battle map with a clever mix of 2D and 3D graphics. The battles feel alive as you command your troops to perform ambushes or other siege tactics as you try to proceed with your conquest. Between the fun battle system, the ever changing relationship system between characters, and the interesting domestic planning, the game is incredibly fun and will keep you glued to your screen for hours as you think of playing just one more round.

Humanity has been thrust into the apocalypse due to a zombie outbreak, do you think you have what it takes to survive?
You will spawn in one of many random locations with just the bare essentials on your back like a glow stick and half a bandage roll. Investigate different abandoned areas and scavenge resources you need to survive like food and water. You may also sometimes find clothes for customization and a variety of weapons with most being melee based however you can stumble upon the occasional firearm here and there.
Fun dynamic events are happening all the time like trainwrecks, police or military encounters, and helicopter crashes which all offer much better loot than normal so take as much as you can. You have to be careful however because there are also random gas attacks happening all throughout the map which may cause bleeding, coughing blood, and vomiting blood. Don’t worry because if you happen to get infected then you can be cured or you can avoid being infected in the first place by wearing a hazmat suit and a gas mask. The game is a lot of fun especially when you run across other people in the wild and can chat using the proximity voice chat or use cute in-game gestures.

Prove yourself worthy to be the last one standing as you eliminate other players in an iconic battle royale.
100 players parachute onto an island and scavenge around for weapons and other equipment to help in their fight as they avoid being eliminated by others. The gear you find is procedurally generated with higher level gear being found in high risk zones. Not only that but there are 8 maps with different sizes and terrain for you to experiment on so no two games you play are alike.
As the match goes on, the playable area of the map will shrink with players taking exponential damage and eventually being eliminated the more they stay in the forbidden area. There will also be times when random spots on the map will light up red and be bombed by plane but with a warning ahead of time so players can evacuate. However there is another plane that will pass by randomly or when signaled by flare by a player which drops loot crates filled with rare weapons and items. The matches are snappy and exciting while also being great at passing time as you keep loading into more and more games hoping to get a taste of glory.

Form a two or three player team called a squad and fight in a battle royale mode with 20 three people teams or 30 two people teams. After you’ve made your team pick from one of 25 characters with each one having a unique design, personality, and abilities. These characters are broken into 5 main classes being: Assault, Skirmisher. Recon, Controller, and Support. After that you can drop onto the island, finding weapons and supplies as you attempt to destroy the other teams to claim victory.
There’s also arena mode where you form a three person team for a team deathmatch. Whichever team can score a minimum of three points and with a two point lead wins. My favorite part of the game in general is the movement. It feels flowy with a lot of options like sliding down inclines, jumping up walls, and using ziplines. Apex is a great game to kill hours while you’re talking with your buds.

Fortnite is a global phenomenon with tons of fun game modes and cool crossovers for players to try their hands at.
The original was Fortnite: Save the world which is a tower defense shooter and survival game where 4 players team up to fight off zombies using a building and traps that the players have built. There’s also lego fortnite which is an open world survival game made entirely out of the lego aesthetic. The main goal is to build a town and complete NPC requests to get them to live there. There’s also the fast paced rocket racing in collaboration with rocket league. Players race their customized vehicles in crazy tracks while using boosts from pads and drifting to get ahead.
You could also rock out with Fortnite Festival as you pick one of the four unique parts like Lead, Guitar/Bass, Drums, and Vocals. Play a multitude of beloved songs from many musical artists as you create your own concert setlist to jam out to. Finally, there’s the infamous Fortnite battle royale as players drop onto a map and scavenge weapons and tools they can use to eliminate other players. There’s Solos, Duos, and Squads so feel free to grab your friends to play with you.

Shake off the nerves and do your best to survive in Rust.
Join up with people to create clans and build a base or survive it solo if you think you have what it takes. Survive in the wilds while gathering or stealing materials while managing your hunger, thirst, and health meters. While there are the occasional dangerous creatures like wolves and bears, the biggest threat is other players. There are also npc vehicles that roam around and attack players so you’ll need to defend yourself with a variety of melee weapons and firearms.
Once you’ve defeated the NPCS, you can take their vehicles for yourself. There’s also other less standard vehicles like hot air balloons and boats. Use your vehicles and plan your raids with your friends using special ammo like the high velocity or explosive shot. There’s also lots of weapons attachments for you to upgrade your gun to however you’d like. Eventually you and your friends will become masters of survival as you try your best to hoard your loot and upgrade your defenses from the other teams.

Test your skills in this collectible card game with wonderfully chaotic battles.
Select a hero from 11 different archetypes that each have unique cards and abilities to battle against another player using a deck made of cards from your collections. There’s 5 different cards you can play like the standard minions, spells, weapons, hero cards, and locations. The main goal is to use all these cards to destroy your opponents cards and reduce their health to zero.
The devs are constantly adding news cards to the game and while the easiest way to earn cards is to pay for them, they can be earned completely free through playing. Because of new cards, metas in Hearthstone are constantly changing and adapting so players have to constantly tweak and update their decks for the variety of gamemodes. There’s the standard ranked and casual mode with restrictions but then there’s wild mode which lets you use any card from the past or present. There’s also the arena mode which makes players draft a deck of thirty cards that they have to play with until they lose. So give hearthstone a try if you’re looking for a more strategic time sink.

If you’re a fan of characters with interesting lore, then League of Legends with its over 150 champions each with fully fleshed out backstories.
Two teams of five battle in pvp combat by picking one of the many characters each with unique skills and fun customization options. Defend your half of the map while pushing into enemy territory, destroying turrets while taking out minions before eventually destroying the nexus at the enemy’s base to win the game. You don’t start strong enough to pull them off though, so you’ll have to level up by killing enemies to get exp and upgrade yourself using the items from the shops which you can buy using the gold you get from killing enemies.
You can either play casually against other players or the AI or try the highly competitive ranked mode which gets streamed so often that it’s made it twitches most streamed game of all time. Games can usually take between 15 minutes to an hour normally but there’s also the two fast modes quickplay which predetermines all your settings and instantly throws you into a map or ARAM which limits the large map down to a single lane as a sort of team deathmatch mode. So Start at Iron and begin your ascension to reach grandmaster and maybe even challenger as you cement yourself as a legend.

Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront prides itself on its ability to instantly switch between a first person gunner view, a third person view for vehicles and infantry, and the classic RTS top down view. Play through an amazing dynamic campaign that lets you experience the battlefields as if you were there. There’s also the conquest in which you can play single player or co-op as you compose army groups, research units, and reach battlefield domination.
So play 1v1s or 4v4s in PvP or PvE and use doctrines to recruit specific troops early on to one that suits your playstyle. There’s over 250 different kinds of vehicles for you to control and 100 heavy weaponry that you can use to shoot your enemies down. There’s also 50 PvE/PvP maps so no matches feel exactly the same.

Get ready to invest hours into this survival looter shooter called Once Human.
All players exist in a shared open world as they gather resources, craft items, build a base, and care for your character. If you satisfy your hunger and thirst properly by eating and drinking then you will reward your character with buffs like extra damage. That’s not the only thing you need to take care of as if you spend too much time in a supernatural area then your sanity will decrease which will then decrease your health pool. You can restore sanity easily by eating certain consumables or sleeping on a soft bed.
But now you may be asking yourself why you would need to spend time in supernatural areas anyway. These supernatural areas include strongholds which are large locations that are highly populated with enemies but also have amazing treasures and resources that you need to progress further in your adventures. You also will need to do monolith battles which are similar to boss battles but are necessary in order to make progress in the game's story. You could also try your hand at doing silos which are generated dungeons spread throughout the world that you can fight repeatedly to farm the items you want. Soon you’ll realize that just by engaging in missions, activities, and world events, there is a massive amount of things for you as a player to do.

Dive into the dungeon and claim the loot that’s rightfully yours in Dark and Darker.
Choose from a wide variety of classical fantasy classes as you descend into the dungeon solo or with friends. Each character has a customizable kit that you can pick how you’d like to play such as equipping your rouge with lockpicking skills. Players will fight monsters to obtain valuables while defending off attacks from other players and even killing them to take their look if you have the chance. Keep Pushing forward as the dungeon slowly starts to close in on itself forcing you to higher level areas with stronger monsters and if you manage to escape the dungeon with your hard earned loot then you got to keep it all.
After that feel free to use the loot for yourself or sell it to the in-game shops so you can use the gold you generate to buy upgrades for your character. Once you’ve done that then head back out into the dungeon in a fun replayable loop as you continuously get stronger and are able to adventure more. Eventually if you continue to grind you’ll see yourself hit the leaderboard as you try to climb your way up to the top.

Take over the body of one of the tenno, an ancient warrior race as you prepare for an intergalactic war.
Each tenno has a different set of skills so use them wisely along with your primary and secondary weapon. Once you have your kit set up, go on one of various missions like eliminating a certain number of enemies, stealthily stealing enemy data, and rescuing prisoners before escorting them back to safety.
Enemies defeated during missions will drop “mods” which you can attach on your ship to help power up your weapons and give them effects. Speaking of your ship, it functions as your main base where you can customize, upgrade weapons, and access the in-game store among other things. Keep upgrading your weapons by using arcane enchantments or in some cases combining two identical weapons together. The whole process of gathering the mods you want and creating new tennos for you to try can take a while so this game is sure to keep you entertained for many hours.

9. Dota 2

Dota 2 is an iconic game in the Moba genre that still shines as brightly as it did when it first came out.
Play in matches between two teams of 5 as each team defends its own half while pressing into the enemies side. The goal is to destroy the ancient, which is a large structure in the team’s base. Each player picks a hero from the 125 characters made of the support or core role. While characters all have unique movesets and abilities, all cores start weak but get stronger as the game goes on until they can carry their team to victory while supports have very weak attacks but have buffs and healing they can cast on the other players.
Explore the map and kill neutral monsters known as creeps or kill other players to further your adjective. The most powerful creep is a boss called Roshan that drops special items and buffs but becomes harder to kill the more the match progresses. Dota’s 2 roster has a lot of variables so you can spend a lot of time researching what compositions you like for your games.

Lock in and get ready to dominate in one of the most iconic FPS on the market.
Play as 1 of 2 teams known as the terrorist or the counter-terrorists. It’s a highly polished game with smoke that reacts to the world like being in a tight space or a sudden change of lighting and a graphics overhaul from its predecessor. There’s a lot of game modes for you to try but in most you pick 5 pistols, 5 mid weapons like SMGs or shotguns, and 5 rifles to use throughout the whole game, having to use different guns each round and eliminating previously used guns.
The two two main modes of CS2 are competitive and premier. Competitive puts two teams of 5 against each other as terrorists try to plant C4 at one of the bomb sites while counter terrorists try to eliminate all the terrorists before they can plant the bomb or defuse the bomb once it has been planted. Premier is similar to competitive but has a map voting and banning system so players have more control over which maps they choose to play on. There’s other game modes too like the 2v2 wingman or deathmatch where there’s no team and the last person standing wins. The gameplay loop is extremely fun so you’ll end up playing loads of matches either with randoms or with friends.

7. Monster Hunter: World

Become a hunter and track down one of various monsters before engaging them in an incredibly intense battle until you kill them or they kill you.
Start in the settlement Astera. Astera functions as your home base and allows you to buy or sell goods, manage inventory, craft equipment, or get new quests. After you’re all geared up, set off into one of 6 large regions composed of smaller zones which are all seamlessly connected without loading screens. You’ll start your hunt with only basic provisions but if you feel the hunts start to drag on then you can find a camp which will allow you to restock supplies, rest to heal hp, and eat amazing foods to gain buffs.
Once you track down your target, battle the monster until you kill it or you could also potentially trap it and bring it back to town. Either way, it’ll be tough so if you manage to pull it off then you’ll be rewarded with monster parts that can be collected and turned into new stronger gear. There’s 14 different types of weapons for the player to try. There’s also the fact that every monster has a unique armor set pertaining to it with each one giving different effects so there’s a lot of variability of playstyles for the player to experience.

Get ready to go all in as the Rougelike deck building card game Balatro will raise the stakes.
To start, choose a deck. Different decks have different effects that will permanently last throughout the game so your choice will affect your strategy. The whole point of the game though is to play poker hands to score points and once you’ve scored enough points you beat a blind. Then there’s antes which consist of three blinds and if you beat 8 of them then you win the game.
Between blinds there is a randomly generated shop where you can buy packs that can upgrade your cards, give them effects, or boost the point totals of your hands. There’s also the signature joker cards which can give you more points, change the game systems to work in your favor, or change how your cards interact with each other. There’s nearly endless deckbuilding potential as multiple jokers work well together so you might find yourself with some pretty powerful setup by the end of the game. And if you feel like pushing your luck then there’s the endless mode option after a game is over just to see how far your cards can really go.

Whether you enjoy the thrill of the hunt or the rush of barely making it out alive from a dangerous situation, Dead by Daylight will have some way of getting you hooked.
4 survivors will spawn on a map with the goal of fixing enough generators to get the gates open so they can escape. It won’t be that easy as a killer will try to stop them by chasing them around and attempting to hit them with their signature weapons and abilities. If the killer manages to strike them down twice then the survivor will go down which lets the killer pick them up and impale them on a sharp hook. Survivors can be pulled off the hook by their teammates but if they get impaled 3 times in a round then they die and are sacrificed to please an ancient god known as the entity.
Survivors aren’t completely defenseless though as they have perks or items which can be used in a variety of ways to alter their playstyles. Plus if a killer gets too close to you at the wrong moment then you can drop a wooden palette on them to stun them or block their way for a few seconds allowing you to get away. Every match you play will award you with blood points which you can use in the blood web to buy more perks, items, and other useful things. The cast of characters in this game is stacked from iconic characters like Miachel Myers and Laura Croft to the interesting original characters like David King and The Unknown with each having different playstyles and effects so try them all.

If you’re a fan of card games or more specifically Magic: The Gathering then you have to try MTG Arena.
MTG Arena’s gameplay revolves around a deck of cards including special land cards which generate mana for one of five elements: White, Blue, Black, Red, and Green. Use that mana to summon creatures, use a variety of spells and activate special abilities. Players battle against other players using their fine tuned decks made from the cards in their collection. The main goal is to drop the other player’s life points to zero.
What I just described is the standard constructed play, however the most popular gamemode is limited play where players open a group of packs provided by the game and use those cards to make decks which they can fight against other players also using drafted decks. To all you marvel fans out there reading this, we have just the thing for you.
Pick from your favorite Marvel characters and make a deck of 12 cards that you can use to battle it out against other people. In each battle there’s three lanes for you to place cards on with each lane being based on one of many famous marvel locations. Each Location will have different effects so play your cards wisely so you can have the most power points in a location at the end of the round. Whichever player has the locations in their favor by the end of the game wins.
If you win, you’re given a cube which you can use to buy new characters or fun variants of characters you already have for cosmetic reasons. While you could win your cubes one by one, the game has a built-in feature called snapping which lets you double down for greater rewards if you win but also greater losses if you lose so don’t misuse it. Games only take a few minutes total which means you can squeeze in a game in almost any free time you have plus it is super fun to battle and new team combos that work exceptionally well together.

Create your own custom character and level up your attributes by earning experience by completing activities. Leveling up will also unlock new weapons, clothes, car customization, and more advanced activities like parachuting. There’s three main types of activities to do: Racing, Deathmatches, and objective based contract missions.
This is an online game though so group up with any of the other 29 people on the map and get together to complete jobs. Whether the jobs are built-in to the game or are community made, they’re a complete blast to do with a group of friends. There’s also 5 elaborate co-op missions which are made up of smaller set up missions which lead to the final giant mission which usually ends up paying extremely well. The thing that keeps me coming back is the community, as I love playing with friends or meeting new people that I can hang around with.

When you join the procedurally generated world, you get to create your custom avatar. Then join up with your friend or go it solo to explore all this world has to offer. Head into the caves beneath your feet to mine up ores, find rare treasure, and fight surprisingly tough monsters. Using the things you find, craft weapons and armor to make you stronger. Don’t worry if you don’t like how they look because the game has secondary armor slots that function only for cosmetic reasons. There’s some other inventory slots for accessories that have interesting effects like the ability to climb walls or run faster.
Crafting isn’t the only way to get cool items as you can build structures to attract NPCS who will sell you a set of items based on their theme. The Npcs are all fun characters who give you access to gameplay systems you didn’t have before like bug catching. You can also fight bosses through timed events or summoning them to collect their drops. While some bosses are optional, if you want to progress your world then there are some you have to fight to unlock things like hard mode. Ultimately, the game is pure about exploration and doing however you want, which is really freeing as a player because no two playthroughs are purely alike.
