Town Hall (acronym TH) is probably the most important building in your Home Village in Clash of Clans and you can upgrade it and unlock new buildings, traps, and Heroes and upgrade everything to a higher level.
In this article, we will discuss army compositions to use in multiplayer battles when your Town Hall’s level is 11. At TH11 you will be able to unlock new troops such as Electro Dragon and Ice Golems, as well as a new spell, Invisibility Spell, and a new defense building - the Eagle Artillery.
Having a good army composition is vital in Clash of Clans. It doesn’t matter if you prefer farming, trophy push, or trying to three-star an opponent during a Clan War, good army composition is always necessary. Having a good army composition will allow you to overcome stronger or similarly powerful opponents and gain better loot.
7. PEKKA + Bowler + Earthquake (Clan War)

This one is a very fun composition since it goes right off the start with destruction. I feel like this Army Composition is one that really focuses on what’s the most important, targeting high damage-dealing defenses first and then clearing out the base. It is also a very good army to practice using during Clan Wars.
I always loved PEKKA and when Bowler was introduced I also liked to use him a lot. A combination of those two troops is a deadly mixture. What’s in my opinion the greatest strength of this army combination is the fact that PEKKA deals huge damage on the short distance, while Bowler throws his rock at long distance which makes this combo even better and more well-balanced.
There are two most important things to do with this army composition. The first one is to clear out as many walls and high damage-dealing defenses as possible with Earthquake Spells, so make sure you drop them in the right spot. The second most important thing is to make sure your Archer Queen destroys at least one Inferno Tower or Eagle Artillery.
How To Use This Composition:
- use Earthquake Spells on high damage-dealing defenses like Siege Machines and Inferno Towers
- try to clear out as many walls as possible with Spells
- use your Archer Queen and support her with Healers
- try taking out some high damage-dealing defenses
- you have to take out at least one Inferno Tower with your Queen, aim for the Multi-Target Inferno Tower
- when clearing out the defenses use Rage Spell on your Archer Queen
- once Inferno Tower and Siege Machine are down deploy your troops to clear out the rest of the base
- use the Log Launcher to create a tunnel leading to any high damage-dealing defense that is still left and use your Heroes as well
- use it against not maxed-out TH11
- good for Clan War Battles

Even though I am not TH11 for a while now, I still use Zap Dragon Army Composition a lot. It is a reliable composition that can easily guarantee you a good outcome in any battle. Provided you do it right!
The best advantage when using this composition is that you can deal with most air-oriented defenses right at the beginning. When starting your attack, you will also deploy your troops far away from the last remaining Air Defense, so you will have time to clear it out and destroy it with your Heroes.
You need to remember about precision when attacking with this Army Composition. Observe how the battle goes and when you see that you need a Rage Spell, use it. Don’t rush and don’t wait too long, especially if your troops split, pay attention and use Warden’s ability at the right time.
How To Use This Composition:
- use two Lightning Spells and one Earthquake Spell to take out three Air Defenses, while trying to take out one Air Sweeper as well
- use your troops to cut through the base, deploy Balloons, Dragons, and Electro Dragon supported by Grand Warden
- use Baby Dragon to clear out buildings on one side of the base
- use your Barbarian King and Archer Queen to cut through the side of the base so that they will reach the last Air Defense
- if your troops start to split in various directions, use Warden’s Ability before that happens
- use your Rage Spells on Balloons, Dragons, and Electro Dragon to take out the enemy’s defenses
- use Stone Slammer to target Air Defense as well once most of the path is cleared by your Heroes
- use it against lower Town Halls and Town Hall 11

5. DraQueenWalk (Multiplayer Battles)

I love Archer Queen Walk strategies since it is very straightforward and you can easily use your Queen to begin the attack. It is no different with DraQueenWalk where this walk is literally in its name.
The main advantage of this Army Composition is that you can basically clear out a lot of the enemy's base, if done correctly, with your Queen. If you manage to do that, then you will be able to easily clean out the rest of the base and three-star your opponent.
I would certainly advise you to upgrade your Archer Queen, preferably max her out, to use this Army Composition. Her level makes all the difference with this Army Composition so don’t forget that. Also, use spells at the right times to clear out as much of the base and be able to later destroy the rest with your Dragons and Balloons.
How To Use This Composition:
- use your Archer Queen and Healers to take out the Eagle Artillery
- deploy Baby Dragons on Archer Queen’s sides so that she creates a tunnel and goes straight into the base aiming at Eagle Artillery
- when approaching stronger defense buildings use Rage Spell on Archer Queen
- use Freeze Spell when attacked by Eagle Artillery from afar
- at the same time use your Wall Breakers, Barbarian King, and Grand Warden supported by Rage and Freeze Spells to get Inferno Tower
- once Inferno Tower and Eagle Artillery are dealt with deploy your Dragons along the side
- deploy your Balloons on the same line and use Bat Spells as well
- use it for Multiplayer Battles

I believe that LavaLoon Army Compositions are always one of the best to use in Clash of Clans. This is especially true for Zap LavaLoon at TH11. The combination of Ice Golem and Heroes can be really deadly and make the whole attack finish very quickly with your victory.
This Army Composition is a very massive attack of a strong force just sweeping over the enemy's base. Once you manage to take out the major defenses of your enemy, you can deploy your whole attack and wait for it to destroy the whole base.
The most crucial thing with this Army Composition is timing. Make sure to use your Jump and Rage Spells at the right moments to ensure you destroy major defenses with your Heroes and Ice Golem. If you fail to do so, then your whole attack might be seriously jeopardized.
How To Use This Composition:
- use your minions to clear out the side buildings outside of the walls and create a tunnel
- deploy Ice Golem to go inside the base and target the Eagle Artillery
- follow Ice Golem with Barbarian King and Archer Queen
- use Jump Spell to get to Eagle Artillery as soon as possible
- try to take out an Archer Queen and Inferno Tower as well
- use Rage Spell if need be
- deploy on one side one Lava Hound on each corner and one in the center followed by all the Balloons
- when approaching defense buildings use Haste Spell
- use Poison Spell on any Clan Castle troops
- perfect for Clan War League

A great Army Composition that allows you to destroy your enemy from both sides. I really like such tactics in Clash of Clans when you just raze the destruction from more than one side of the base and just see how everything is slowly and steadily going your way. This Army Composition will certainly ensure that.
My personal favorite strength of this Army Composition is, as I mentioned, the double-side attack. This strategy is very efficient if it is well coordinated. Moreover, Archer Queen Walk and the destruction of as many major defenses by her is my favorite tactic as well.
To use this army composition the most efficiently you will have to coordinate your attack very well. Try attacking with Flame Flinger once your Archer Queen is close to destroying major defenses. Also, don’t forget to use your Rage Spells and Healing Spells when needed.
How To Use This Composition:
- begin the attack by choosing two sides to attack from
- on one side use your Archer Queen and deploy first Baby Dragons to clear out the buildings on the sides
- once Archer Queen can walk into the base deploy Wall Breakers to create a tunnel for her
- at the same time use Flame Flinger from the other side of the base
- try taking out as many high damage-dealing defenses as possible, aim at Eagle Artillery and Multi-Target Inferno Towers
- use Poison Spell on Clan Castle troops
- use Rage Spell on your Archer Queen when needed
- once the most serious defenses are down aim all your Hog Riders at other major defense buildings
- use Healing Spells on Hog Riders when necessary and support them with Skeleton Spell and Freeze Spell when need be
- use for Trophy Push

Now here comes the fun Army Composition with the use of unconventional troops. To use this Army Composition you will have to boost your Archer and Wall Breaker and turn them into Super Troops using Dark Elixir or Super Potion. You can also use Wall Breakers instead of Super Wall Breakers if you don’t want to boost these troops, but having Super Archers is a must-have.
This Army Composition can be really powerful and is fun to use since you deploy troops that aren’t always available to you. Super Archers are a perfect boost to deal long-distance damage and can help you to three-star enemy’s base during Clan War. Additionally, the help of your Heroes will be crucial in your performance.
Super Archer Zap has a few things that make it very deadly if done correctly. Firstly, try to destroy as many defense buildings when aiming at Eagle Artillery. Secondly, make sure to clear the path for the Barbarian King and Grand Warden so that they get inside the base's core and destroy it efficiently. Remember to use your spells at the right time as well.
How To Use This Composition:
- use Lightning Spells and Earthquake Spell on Eagle Artillery
- try taking out the surrounding buildings with the spells as well
- deploy your Archer Queen and four Healers
- on the side next to the Archer Queen deploy all of your Super Archers and three Healers
- on the opposite side use Minions and Baby Dragons to clear out the buildings and create a tunnel
- use Super Wall Breakers to allow the troops to go inside the base
- use Barbarian King, Grand Warden, and Siege Barracks to clear out the base
- when needed use Rage Spell on your Heroes and surrounding troops
- use Poison Spell on the enemy’s Clan Castle troops

At number one, we have my personal favorite Army Composition that I used obsessively at TH11 which is Zap Witches composition. This one involves mainly attacking using Witches and Golems with the support of a few other troops and obviously your Heroes.
Zap Witches is an extremely powerful composition that will make any opponent a reachable target if your troops and spells’ levels are high. When fighting in a Clan War League this Army Composition can help you get the best results.
Remember to level up before using this strategy, so try to employ it with maxed-out troops, especially Witches and Golems. Your Heroes also need high enough levels for this Army Composition to be successful. Beware that lower levels might not work on maxed-out Town Hall 11 bases.
How To Use This Composition:
- use four Lightning Spells and one Earthquake Spell on two of the enemy’s Inferno Towers, take them out, and try to take out any surrounding Defense as well
- one side of the base on the line deploy one Golem in the center, one on the left side, and one on the right side
- deploy all your Witches along the same line
- deploy Log Launcher so that it faces the direction of the Eagle Artillery
- deploy your Archer Queen on either one of the sides
- deploy Barbarian King and Grand Warden in the center to create the tunnel with the central Golem and Log Launcher
- use Poison Spell on Clan Castle Troops
- use Rage Spell whenever your troops have some problems against any defense
- hold your Archer Queen ability as long as possible
- use for Clan War League
