The MZ2 is an upgrade from its predecessor, the Mizutani Shion MZ1 Sports car. The MZ2 has improved tire grip, turbo, and drivetrain. Don’t be fooled by the style of this car, we did not time travel to the 80s.

The Quadra Turbo-R 740 is a product of American international competition. During the early to mid 21st century, the primary manufacturer of sports cars found on American streets was Japan. To prove that American cars were just as valuable, the Quadra Turbo-R was released. However, in true American fashion, the original car looked nice, but was not designed for amateurs–it needed some serious work to untap its true potential. As such, upgraded versions were released, with the most recent being the Quadra Turbo-R 740 released in 2069. 

The Turbo-R 740 is intentionally styled as a nostalgic allusion to 1980s exotic sports cars, bbut with the current age’s amped up tech, such as the HUD (heads-up-display), which shows engine RPM and current speed, making a perfect mix of past and present.

Our second Quadra entry on the list, and the first Quadra Type-66 variant, is the Quadra Type-66 Avenger. The Avenger is an official variant belonging to Quadra’s Type-66 series. This upgraded variant has better handling and a higher top speed. Plus, this variant just looks more sleek and intimidating than the base model.

Our third Quadra on the list, and our second Type-66 variant, is the Quadra Type-66 “Cthulhu”. The Cthulhu is a specially customized Type-66 that was owned by the street racer/corpo Peter Sampson. The Cthulhu takes a Sports model that was already built to race, and adds optimized tuning, extra power, and swapped out software, making it a true beast on the streets.

5. Mizutani Shion “Coyote” (€$77,000)

Now that looks like a cybered up car that can handle any situation!

Our second Mizutani on the list, the Mizutani Shion “Coyote” is far superior in terms of style and performance. The “Coyote” is a uniquely customized version of the Mizutani Shion, that the nomads have modified in order to adapt the car to the rough terrain of the Badlands. The Coyote is strikingly different from its base model–unlike the base Shion, the “Coyote” rocks reinforcement, improved suspension, and upgrades that allow the car to traverse the harsh terrain of the Badlands without issue.

• There are two versions of the "Coyote" that you can obtain:
• A teal and yellow version (pictured above) is available at 20 Street Cred–offered for sale by Dakota Smith. You can purchase this version at the parking lot in front of the Sunshine Motel in the Badlands, for  €$77,000.
• A red and gray version can be obtained for free during the quest, With a Little Help from My Friends. To get the car, you have to refuse to go along with Panam’s plan to go behind Saul’s back and then tell Saul about Panam’s plot. This will cause Panam to end your friendship, but will make Saul incredibly grateful. The next time you drive to the Sunset Motel in the Badlands, Saul will text you and reward you with the “Coyote,” which you can find in the garage next to the motel. 
  • ***However, it should be noted that doing so will cause Panam to end your friendship, thereby locking you out from the next job in Panam’s storyline, as well as the The Star ending. 

4. Herrera Outlaw GTS (€$92,000)

The looks of a high-end limo with the handling of a preem racecar. 

Coming in at number four, we have our first Hypercar, the Herrera Outlaw GTS. In Cyberpunk 2077, Hypercars are masterfully crafted with expensive materials in order to flaunt armor, high speed, while maintaining a sleek and tasteful (stylish) bodywork. The Herrera Outlaw GTS is one of the fastest cars in the game, with a top speed of 190 MPH, without sacrificing handing and controllability. Our fourth Quadra on the list, and our third Type-66 variant, is the Quadra Type-66 “Javelina”. The “Javelina” is a nomad-customized version of the Type-66. This bad boy has an expertly tuned-up engine and armored finish that make it perfect for roaming the harsh terrain of the Badlands at high speeds up to 190 MPH. On top of that, this bad boy boasts CrystalDome technology that allows the driver to remain unseen without obstructing the view of their surroundings.

Coming in second place is our second hypercar to make it on the list–the Rayfield Caliburn. The Caliburn is masterfully crafted to combine luxury and performance, with a sportier flare. Imbued with a fire-breathing engine and aerodynamic body, the Caliburn allows you to reach the speed of 211 MPH, making it the fastest car in the entire game! Plus, if you ever get tired of manually racing this rocket ship, the onboard navigational computer can take control for you.

How to Get Rayfield Caliburn:

There are two versions of the Caliburn that you can obtain:

• A white version is offered for sale at 40 Street Cred by Dino Dinovic. You can purchase this version at the parking lot of Gold Beach Marina in Downtown, City Center for €$127,000.
• A black version can be found for free in a seemingly random shipping container you find near Rocky Ridge in the Badlands. Finding this shipping container triggers the Murk Man Returns Again Once More Forever side quest. However, this will only be available after having completed the main mission Ghost Town and reaching 40 Street Cred. 

1. Rayfield Aerondight S9 “Guinevere”(€$155,000)

Don’t worry about the lack of windows, Rayfield’s CyberDome tech’s got you covered.

Coming in first place, the most expensive vehicle that you can drive in all of Cyberpunk 2077 is…the Rayfield Aerondight S9 “Guinevere”. The Guinevere is a limited edition version of the Rayfield Aerondight S9, with only 150 units being produced and sold worldwide. 

On par with its elitist accessibility, the names of the vehicle are allusions to medieval literary works. The limited edition Guinevere is an allusion to the figure of Guinevere in Arthurian literature, who was a powerful woman married (at different points) to King Arthur and Sir Lancelot. Even more obscure, the name Aerondight is an allusion to the name of a knight’s sword from a different medieval story. 

Ignoring the rather pretentious names, the fact that only 150 units of this car were produced worldwide means only the wealthiest of the wealthy could afford this bad boy. The only reason V is able to get their hands on this vehicle is because its previous owner–the ambassador of Argentina–had to sell the vehicle for less than it was worth in order to flee his impending death. 

Before Rayfield created the Caliburn, the Aerondight was the fastest car on the market. Although there are quite a few vehicles with comparable or even faster top speeds, Guinevere’s top speed of 190 MPH still keeps it at a respectable position on the list of fastest cars on the market. It also sports a windowless design to provide complete protection and privacy. The driver’s external view is projected inside the cabin of the vehicle with Rayfield’s CrystalDome technology.
