Dota 2 esports, Top 15 list, Dota 2 China servers, Who's the best player on Dota 2 China servers
Better than Football

A lot of us idolized sports growing up, praising the faster running athlete or the person who could throw a ball the farthest. Now with the rise of E-sports, we sing the praise of a new type of athlete, one who supports their team in their specific role as opposed to running the fastest. Here we have Dota 2! With a great game comes great legends, so let’s dive right onto our list today. Introducing the top 15 China players in the world right now!

15. RedPanda

Ru Zhihao is a support player hailing from china. He was born on December 10, 1995, putting him at the ripe age of 26. Throughout RedPanda’s career, he’s earned over $65,000 in prize money so far. Now support isn’t an easy role so one should choose a hero that synchronizes with their style of play. RedPanda does just that with his signature hero Disrupter backtracking his enemies’ movements, silencing a large area, and even locking units in a small arena making RedPanda a menace when fighting him and his laning partner.

Major Tournament Achievement:

Earlier we talked about his earnings well. In 12/12/2020 he and Elephant took part in the OGA Dota PIT Season 4: China. Where they took 1st place and most of the $90,000 prize pool.

14. CatYou aka Salad

Tang Xiaolei is otherwise known as CatYou who currently plays for Team LBZS as their position 4 support. CatYou is currently 22 and has been a pro since 2017. A great support hero in the hands of great support is the only way to describe CatYou with Earth Spirit his signature hero. With a win rate of 69%, many off-laners would find themselves lucky to have him as a laning partner with good damage and awesome engagement potential.

Major Tournament Achievement:

Before the year 2021 concluded the Moon Studio Snow League was held where CatYou and his Team LBZS participated and took 1st place and $8000 of the $22,000 prize pool.

13. Faith_bian

Zhang Ruida or better known as Faith_bian an Off-lane professional player currently on Team PSG.LGD. The China Native Faith_bian has had a very prosperous career earning over $3,000,000 in prize money. With off-lane being the first bastion against enemy hard carries normally the skill of the off-laner is put to the test. With his signature hero Beastmaster, he brings not only immense scouting potential but also great harass, making it difficult for the enemy to farm. Faith_bian has played over 140 games with Beastmaster and maintains a 65% win rate, talk about impressive!

Major Tournament Achievement:

Faith_bian and his team made it to the largest Dota 2 tournament of the year The International 2021 where they played against many skilled players ultimately earning 2nd place and a vast amount of the $40,018,195 prize pool.

12. Chalice

Yang Shenyi or Chalice was born on August 16, 1998, in China. Chalice currently plays for Team Royal Never Give Up or RNG as their off-laner. Chalice’s career started in early 2016 on his first pro team MAX. Y.  Well by now I hope that you understand how important each lane is and why having good hero picks is important. Chalice takes such knowledge when picking his hero knowing it could make or break the match, with his signature being Dark Seer which is a great pick against enemy melee carries with his shell that punishes them for farming.

Major Tournament Achievement:

Although not having much in terms of tournament experience with Team RNG, Chalice and his team participated in the Huya Winter Invitational 2021 for a prize pool of over $150,000. In which they displayed excellent teamwork and communication climbing to 2nd place

11. Irving

Li Jian or as we know him Irving a Chinese pro player for Team Vici Gaming. He was born on February 20, 1999, with his career starting in late 2020. Irving is another primary off-laner with his signature being Mars using the crowd control and area denial the hero brings to zone out supports and punish enemy carries. Although Irving’s win rate is low by comparison at 46%. Even though he is relatively new to the scene of pro Dota I believe Irving should be on people’s watch list you may be surprised.

Major Tournament Achievement:

The Huya Winter Invitational 2021 hosted some popular and fearsome teams with Irving with Vici Gaming being one of them. They managed to climb up to 4th place getting a winning share of the $155,204 prize pool.

10.  Storm

Cai Di “Storm” is a solo mid-main that plays for Team Ybb Gaming. Based out of China, Storm started his professional journey in mid-2019. Although his career has essentially just begun he has already earned almost $7000 in prize money alone. Being a solo mid is hard; you are sandwiched in between two lanes who could gank you at any time, while also being expected to gank the other lanes at the drop of a hat. But Storm does quite well with his signature hero being Ember Spirit having great damage and crowd control mixed with the amount of build diversity this hero can have it’s no wonder he has a 61% win rate.

Major Tournament Achievement:

With Storm’s professional career still in its early stage, it comes as no surprise that he has yet to find true success. While Storm and Ybb Gaming competed in DPC CN 2021/22 Tour 1: Division II with a $75,000 prize pool where they placed 6th.

9. old eLeVeN

Ren Yangwei “old eLeVeN” is a Chinese player who is currently playing for Xtreme Gaming as their off-laner. Well, old eLeVeN’s career started in late 2013 where he joined his first pro team Subvert. As another off-laner joins our list he brings with him a sort of unique pick in regards to signature hero picks. With Centaur Warrunner charging into the battlefield, old eLeVeN makes ample use of his built-in thorns damage, punishing physical carry’s poke while rushing them down for big damage.

Major Tournament Achievements:

Before joining Xtreme Gaming old eLeVeN was on Vici Gaming where he played in the most recent International and took 5th-6th place and secured $1,400,600 of the over $40,000,000 prize pool

8. Yds. aka Xiaoma123

Zhao Jiayi “Yds.” who is currently playing for Vici Gaming as their position 4 support. Yds started his career in mid-2019 with the team VG. Potential. It’s always good to see supports getting the praise they deserve and boy does Yds. deserve it. He and his signature hero Earthshaker creating obstructions to isolate enemy carries creates immense space allowing for safer initiations of the off-laner. With 40 games under his belt with Earthshaker, he brings forth a 65% win rate!

Major Tournament Achievements:

Yds. and Team Vici Gaming competed in Huya Winter Invitational 2021 on December 30, 2021, taking 4th place. Although we all know they wanted to place higher they still brought home a lot of the $155,204 prize pool

7. Ori

Zeng Jiaoyang “Ori” is a Chinese professional player who was born on July 22nd, 1995. Ori possesses the all-time high for professional matches played at 61 and won at 35 as Kunkka. That’s right he has the high score with Kunkka! Although having that recond is awesome Kunkka isn’t Ori’s best hero. That goes to Templar Assassin blocking dangerous attacks with her barrier while dishing out constant damage and placing damaging traps around further increasing the deadliness of this hero. Ori consistently demonstrates his mastery with Templar Assassin every match he picks her. With 141 games played with her and a win rate of 68%, it’s no wonder Ori has been a success mid.

Major Tournament Achievement:

In The International of 2021 Ori ran with Vici Gaming to take home 5th-6th unfortunately losing to Invictus gaming 0:2 but still taking home over $1,000,000 of the $40,018,195 prize pool.

6. JT

Thiay Jun Wen is a Malaysian professional Dota 2 player who currently plays for Invictus Gaming. On October 21st, 2021 JT reached 10,000 MMR. JT can play both Carry and Off-lane on a professional level. So now that we know JT can swing either Carry or Off-lane poses the question of who is his best hero? Well search no further, JT is primarily an Off-laner with Mars being his best pick brandishing a  54% win rate over 100 games played with him. If you want to see pro arenas and pins JT is happy to oblige, his ability to split focus is amazing nothing slips past him, not even those sneaky Riki mains.

Major Tournament Achievement:

So there isn’t much question as to why this player and his team are stellar players, with ya know placing 4th in The International and all. They were knocked out of the tournament by Team Spirit who would go on to win the whole darn thing.

Although they didn’t despair too much after walking away with $2,401,100 of the $40,018,195 pool.

5. Sccc

Song Chun a China native and Safe-lane carry main whose last team was EHOME. Sccc’s pro career began in 2015 when he signed on to Newbee.Y since then he has earned over $1,200,000 in prize money. Sccc’s picks are very meta but if you think about it the E-sports are the players who help set the meta so thank you pros. With his best hero coming out to be Juggernaut with his amazing damage and pressure. When Sccc picks Juggernaut you’ve probably messed up as he makes excellent use of map awareness giving him the space he needs to farm up and making that 72% win rate even higher.

Major Tournament Achievements:

On March 08, 2020, Sccc and Team Aster took part in the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3 where they placed first commanding most of the $300,000 prize pool.

4. Somnus丶M

Lu Yao “Somnus” otherwise known as “Maybe” is a Chinese professional Dota 2 player currently playing for Team RNG. His lucrative career has netted him over $3,000,000 prize money already! Somnus who plays solo mid for Team RNG is a very successful player but every great player needs their great signature, kind of like a signature move in a wrestling game. Well, Somnus’ signature happens to be Storm Spirit zipping in and out dealing massive devastation rapidly helping Somnus improve that already epic 70% win rate over 175 games!

Major Tournament Achievement:

One of the last major 3rd place prizes that Somnus had was with PSG.LGD in the 2019 International with a prize pool of $34,330,068.

3. Xm

Guo Hongcheng hails from China who is currently Vici Gaming’s Solo Mid. Born on February 11, 1999, Xm achieved 10,000MMR on April 13th, 2020. Now we’ve spoken about hero picks and Xm’s signature is a unique one in my opinion. With his signature pick being Razor! Bringing excellent damage and even increasing the damage he deals by stealing it from his opponents his kit allows for great harassment. Xm has taken to Razor with over 90 games played and a win rate of 68%. I think this unique pick will bring him even more success in the future. Keep an eye on this one.

Major Tournament Achievement:

While playing for Vici Gaming on December 30th, 2021 he and his team challenged the Huya Winter Invitational 2021 and made 4th place taking a little over $18,000 in prize pool money from the total $155,204.

2. Flyfly

Jin Zhiyi was born on December 4th, 1996 in China. Flyfly’s professional career began in 2014 with Five Personal Beliefs. He now plays for Invictus Gaming as their safe-lane carry. The art of being a carry requires much time and commitment but you know when you start your career in late 2014 and it’s now 2022 you’ve had the time. Flyfly has a couple of heroes that could qualify as his signature but we chose to go with Morphling as he has 100 games with him so far and a KDR of 4.73!

Major Tournament Achievement:

Flyfly and Team Invictus participated in TI10 in 2021 achieving 4th place in the largest Dota 2 tournament of the year speaks volumes in itself. They pulled away with over $2,000,000 in prize money of the total $40,018,195 pot.

1.  Paparazi灬 aka Eurus

Coming in at number one is Paparazi or Eurus! A Chinese Dota 2 pro who plays for Xtreme Gaming. In Eurus’ career, he’s accumulated over $1,000,000 in prize pool money! He was also the first person in 2016 to hit 8000 MMR on the Chinese Servers. Eurus plays solo mid for his team despite this he is a better carry player. Maybe we’ll see a swap in Team Xtreme Gaming, but Eurus doesn’t let that stop him from polishing his talents with his signature hero Lifestealer rushing down enemy squishy heroes with spell immunity and well life-steal. Eurus has played 127 games with Lifestealer so far and still has a 66% win rate and I don’t see that dropping anytime soon.

Major Tournament Achievement:

While Eurus played with Vici Gaming they both managed to take 1st prize in the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore with a prize pool of $500,000! Talk about a good payday huh?
