[Top 10] Elden Ring Best Faith Weapons (And How To Get Them)

[Top 10] Elden Ring Best Faith Weapons (And How To Get Them)
Only the faithful may enter

Another list of best weapons in Elden Ring. This time we’ll be focusing on Faith weapons. Faith is a really interesting stat as it lets you cast Incantations. In previous games, Faith was more the buffing stat type while INT was the more magic heavy. While this remains true in Elden Ring as well, Faith weapons more than compensate for the wild difference, yielding an enormous library of juggernauts. These weapons are amazing, and I can’t wait to tell you about the best faith weapons in Elden Ring according to me, of course.

10. Golden Halberd

An excellent choice for a knight of the Golden Order

The Golden Halberd is a weapon that you can get almost immediately in Elden Ring. It’s a weapon that scales off of Faith and deals Holy Damage. It also has the unique Weapon Art: Golden Vow that gives you a minor buff. Now combine it with another Golden Halberd and you suddenly wield one of the most menacing dual-wield weapons in Elden Ring.

One of the biggest issues that you might see, off the bat, with this weapon is how slow it is. Don’t be repulsed by this, while the weapon clearly is slow, Elden Ring proves that slow does not mean bad. It is, indeed, a weapon of sheer terror and force instead. Being a Halberd, this weapon has reach which can significantly help your survival and is very effective in PvP as well against people who generally like to keep a distance.

Couple all of those factors with the fact that it deals massive amounts of damage, and the dual-wielded Golden Halberds is a force to reckon with.

Item Stats:

  • STR - 30 (D)
  • DEX - 14 (E)
  • FTH - 12 (D)

What Golden Halberd excels in:

  • Long reach
  • Devastatingly high damage
  • Good Weapon Art

9. Blasphemous Blade

JOIN THE SERPENT KING AS FAHMALEE

Most people who fought Rykard probably thought of using the Serpent-Hunter weapon they get right before the boss. However, it’s an absolutely garbage weapon outside of this area, so people end up leaving frustrated, not realizing that Rykard has a far better weapon for those who want to persevere. I, of course, refer to the Blasphemous Blade. In his infamous cutscene, Rykard takes it out from the Snake's mouth while reciting satanic verses about wanting to join a really weird family.

This blade is awesome. It’s genuinely one of the best FTH weapons in the game and that’s because it lets you heal per kill. Combine this with various other things, and you got yourself a self-healing genocidal tank. Striking appearances aside, this weapon boasts a really fun Ash of War as well which also heals you per tick. Combining this with a bleed weapon can make you an unstoppable force of nature.

Blasphemous Blade Stats:

  • STR - 22 (D)
  • DEX - 15 (D)
  • FTH - 21 (D)

What Blasphemous Blade excels in:

  • Heals per kill
  • Amazing Ash of War
  • One of the coolest weapons

8. Golden Epitaph

Striking design begets an awesome moveset

Despite looking like a massive hunk of metal, this weapon is also categorized as a Longsword or Straight Sword, if you will. Golden Epitaph is for the FAI players out there, one of the many FAI weapons that they can find. It’s an excellent weapon that deals a good amount of Holy Damage which is always useful against the Undead, dealing approx. 30% more damage to them.

This weapon is very good early to mid-game because you can use it against most enemies dealing a good amount of Holy damage. Plus, all those annoying skeleton dungeons? Just spam the Ash of War for an even more boost. And you wanna know something even better? The buff applies to allies as well!

Golden Epitaph Stats:

  • STR - 12 (D)
  • DEX - 10 (D)
  • FAI - 14 (D)

What Golden Epitaph excels in:

  • FAI Scaling is very nice
  • Holy Damage to Undead
  • Ash of War applies to allies as well

How to get Golden Epitaph:

7. Sword of Night and Flame

A legendary armament

Oh boy, the Sword of Night and Flame is incredibly powerful. It’s one of those weapons the Youtubers make a huge deal out of, and rightfully so. It’s a weapon that can decimate and annihilate most things within seconds. And that’s because it has a free Comet Azur in it. I can not stress how very useful that ability is. With the Sword of Night and Flame, you can invest both into INT and FAI and become a Paladin of amazing magic.

It’s a weapon that can shred enemies in seconds. In a crowd? Use the Fire Ash of War. Fighting a boss? Comet Azur. This weapon is really good if you’re able to invest properly in it. I highly recommend it to anyone who has both INT and FAI leveled up.

Sword of Night and Flame Stats:

  • STR - 12 (E)
  • DEX - 12 (E)
  • INT - 24 (D)
  • FAI - 24 (D)

What Sword of Night and Flame excels in:

  • One of the best weapons in the game
  • Two very excellent Ashes of War
  • Great scaling on all sides

6. Vyke’s War Spear

One of the coolest weapons in the game

Vyke’s War Spear is insane, especially for anyone who’s playing Dexterity/Faith build. It’s one of the few weapons which can cause the Madness build up. Now a lot of enemies in Elden Ring are unfortunately immune to Madness. But this is the weapon you want to use in PvP, instead. With an absolutely amazing and overpowered Ash of War aptly named Frenzyflame Thrust, you can destroy any person daring to challenge you.

Great Spears in Elden Ring is already quite powerful, and Vyke’s War Spear is no exception. Madness is a status effect that causes the enemy to lose HP and FP both, making it quite interesting to use. The only reason Vyke’s War Spear is so low in this list is because its viability is lessened in PvE due to most bosses being Madness-immune. Otherwise, without a doubt, this weapon would’ve been in the top three.

Vyke’s War Spear Stats:

  • STR - 16 (E)
  • DEX - 20 (C)
  • FAI - 18 (D)

What Vyke’s War Spear excels in:

  • Excellent Madness build-up weapon
  • Good FTH/DEX weapon
  • Amazing Ash of War

5. Godslayer’s Greatsword

The coolest if the most confusing design

Godslayer’s Greatsword is a weapon you can obtain by going through Hell and fighting Godskin Apostle - which is no easy feat as it is harder than the one found in Atlus Plateau. After you finally defeat that grueling boss fight, you are rewarded with this weapon. Now you might’ve noticed but there’s no other Faith weapon in this list, that’s because in my opinion, this might be the best one to use if you’re using an FTH/STR build. The other main FTH Greatswords lean more on DEX than this one so I decided to opt them out.

This weapon comes with its own unique Ash of War that surrounds the area in Blackflame, a status effect that is always terrifying to fight against. It deals a lot of damage against mostly anything and is very hard to counter. With an amazing moveset to boot, there’s no doubt in my head that Godslayer’s Greatsword is one of the best STR weapons.

Godslayer’s Greatsword Stats:

  • STR - 20 (D)
  • DEX - 22 (D)
  • FTH - 20 (D)

What Godslayer’s Greatsword excels in:

  • Blackflame Ash of War
  • Strong FTH weapon
  • Has a great moveset

4. Eclipse Shotel

A legendary armament that’s incredibly powerful

First, we had a weapon for Intelligence casters. Now we have a weapon for Faith casters. The Eclipse Shotel is a weapon that requires some heavy investment but its payoff more than makes up for it. It can be found in Castle Sol and is really deadly against any type of enemy. What makes it, even more, better is the fact that if an enemy is blocking it ignores 40% of their damage negation.

As is the case with most curved swords, speed is the name of the game, and it truly shows. The damage output is really good, and it has a fun Ash of War that can inflict the Death Blight on foes. That’s right: THE DEATH BLIGHT. As in, YOU are the Basilisk now. This is devastatingly good if you can proc it right, especially in PvP.

Item Stats:

  • STR - 10 (E)
  • DEX - 25 (D)
  • FTH - 30 (D)

What Eclipse Shotel excels in:

  • You can proc Death Blight with it
  • Really good for Faith builds
  • Punishes any enemy blocking

How to get Eclipse Shotel:

3. Magma Blade

Now we’re getting to the bad boy’s stuff

Another weapon that benefits from Faith investment, the Magma Blade is considered one of, if not THE, best-curved swords (I personally consider it second and you’ll soon understand why). The Magma Blade is visually really cool and striking, but its real draw is the Magma Shower Ash of War that scatters magma around you. This acts as a good defense and offense at the same time depending on who you are fighting. In PvE, most enemies won’t even bother dodging out of it, but it can be tricky in PvP, however then you get a nice defense shield.

Most people that use this weapon prioritize Strength over Faith, which is odd considering its scaling, but that’s how the damage is calculated. However, I would recommend leaning more into Faith, as its Ash of War directly scales from that. Now dual-wield these bad boys for maximum damage output and have fun!

Item Stats:

  • STR - 9 (D)
  • DEX - 15 (D)
  • FTH - 16 (D)

What Magma Blade excels in:

  • Ash of War is really useful against anyone
  • One of the rare curved swords to benefit Strength over Dexterity
  • Visually striking, and dangerous at the same time

2. Golden Order Greatsword

Praise the Golden Order!

The Golden Order Greatsword can be found in a really secluded cave held by a Misbegotten. How did a random creature get a sword of such brilliance? We don’t really know, but damn is this such a fun weapon to use. The Golden Order Greatsword deals a lot of Holy Damage and makes sure any fool pathetic enough to try to get up is pushed down. The Ash of War is a nice little Wrath of the Gods from previous Dark Souls games that can be chained down into beams of light.

The Golden Order Greatsword is one of the best Faith weapons in the game, and it truly shows how versatile and useful it is. The weapon feels like the Faith version of the Moonlight Greatsword, and that’s because it is but reforged by Radagon. This weapon feels like THE Elden Ring Sword and it’s an absolutely beaut to use in battle.

Golden Order Greatsword Stats:

  • STR - 16 (E)
  • DEX - 21 (D)
  • FTH - 28 (C)

What Golden Order Greatsword excels in:

  • Great Ash of War for AoE
  • Excellent coverage
  • Holy Damage

1. Marika’s Hammer

Deliver Golden Order’s punishment

Marika’s Hammer is one of my favorite weapons in the game. It’s brutal and decimates most enemies quite easily, but it’s THE perfect weapon for most FTH/STR builds at least in my eyes. The Ash of War Gold Breaker works similarly to Radagon’s final move in the game. It’s an excellent Ash of War against crowds and destroys their poise very well.

The absolute best place to use this weapon is in PvP however. The poise during the Ash of War is great and it has a great reach meaning you can use it against enemies a bit far and absolutely decimate them for even trying to attack you. You can jump very far with this Ash of War which makes it great against anyone trying to run away.

Marika’s Hammer Stats:

  • STR - 20 (D)
  • DEX - 12 (D)
  • FTH - 19 (D)

What Marika’s Hammer excels in:

  • Excellent against crowds
  • Ash of War makes you have hyper armor
  • Perfect for catching a running enemy

And these are the 10 best Faith weapons in Elden Ring ranked worst to best. Hopefully, this guide helps you figure out which one you want to go for. Ultimately, Elden Ring has an immense amount of weapons. Find one that works best for you and lets you have fun!
