[Top 5] Genshin Impact Best 3 Star Claymores That Are Excellent

Two cute couples having fun in their city!

Claymores are the next weapon we are going to talk about. These greatswords are really popular among Genshin Impact characters. From Chongyun in the photo to Diluc in the recent event, there’re lots of characters you can build using the weapons in this guide. The 5 3-star weapons shown can increase both your DPS capabilities and your skills’ effectiveness.

5. White Iron Greatsword

Itto or Noelle will be glad to receive a claymore like the White Iron Greatsword. They both increase their DPS when their burst is used, infusing their weapon with the Geo element. The buff they receive also depends on their DEF stat, which this claymore gives lots of. Not only that, with the White Iron equipped, they’ll heal on their own after defeating enemies!

What Makes This Claymore Great:

  • Defeating an opponent restores 8~16% HP.
  • Increases Defence

4. Bloodtainted Greatsword

The Bloodtainted Greatsword is similar to the other elemental weapons out there. This claymore increases the damage enemies receive if they are affected by the Pyro element or the Electro element. Both Diluc and Beidou can hit opponents with those elements, having their DMG increased by up to 24%. And don’t forget the Elemental Mastery.

What Makes This Claymore Great:

  • Increases DMG against opponents affected by Pyro or Electro by 12~24%.
  • Increases Elemental Mastery

3. Ferrous Shadow

This weapon is the equivalent of the White Iron Greatsword, but instead of DEF, it increases the HP stat. Its passive ability is what makes it shine because claymore users depend on their Charged Attacks a lot. Increasing damage and decreased interruption probability are two perks that we love. Just don’t get your character to full health or it won’t work.

What Makes This Claymore Great:

  • When HP falls below 70~90%, increases Charged Attack DMG by 30~50%, and Charged Attacks become much harder to interrupt.
  • Increases HP

2. Debate Club

Although it has the same name, the Debate Club is not where you learnt to debate in high school. This Debate Club is a claymore that everyDPS in Genshin Impact loves to use. For example, Razor would love this ATK increase. Moreover, he’s always using his skill which has a low CD. This way the weapon’s passive constantly activates and helps one-shot enemies with 120% ATK.

What Makes This Claymore Great:

  • After using an Elemental Skill, Normal or Charged Attacks, on hit, deal an additional 60~120% ATK DMG in a small area. Effect lasts 15s. DMG can only occur once every 3s.
  • Increases Attack

1. Skyrider Greatsword

Finally, the Skyrider Greatsword, one of the best 3-star weapons in the game. It’s great for Physical DPS, like Eula or Beidou. Together with a Physical DMG Bonus artifact, this Bonus can get to really high numbers. Moreover, your ATK can be increased up to 40%! That’s amazing on its own, and can be game-breaking in some domains.

What Makes This Claymore Great:

  • On hit, Normal or Charged Attacks increase ATK by 6~10% for 6s. Max 4 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.5s.
  • Increases Physical Damage Bonus

After this guide, you won’t need 4-star or 5-star weapons to make your characters powerful. Forget about those pay-to-win items and ascend and refine the 3-star free-to-play ones. From the White Iron Greatsword to the Skyrider Greatsword, choose your pick and have fun playing Genshin Impact!
