As if they're not powerful enough, their constellations can be a valuable improvement
All characters in Genshin Impact have a constellation, except those who may be a collaboration with other games such as Aloy, from Horizon’s Zero Dawn. We talked before about the best constellations for every 4 star, this time it’s the turn of the 5-star characters, find out here!
Albedo (Opening Of Phanerozoic)
(The chief alchemist of the Knights of Favonius)
To start this top, we have Albedo, a strong Geo support that provides reliable and consistent Geo damage with his elemental skill, his elemental burst it’s also quite powerful and buffs your party elemental mastery with the right ascension level.
Why Opening Of Phanerozoic is great for Albedo
- Transient Blossoms generated by Abiogenesis: Solar Isotoma grant Albedo Fatal Reckoning for 30s: Each stack of Fatal Reckoning increases DMG by 30% of Albedo's DEF.
- The effect stacks up to 4 times. Unleashing Rite of Progeniture: Tectonic Tide consumes all stacks of Fatal Reckoning, increasing the DMG dealt by the Tectonic Tide and Fatal Blossoms based on the number of stacks consumed.
Ayaka (Snowswept Sakura)
(The graceful daughter of the Kamisato Clan)
Ayaka is a powerful Cryo DPS. She can do a lot of damage and her constellations make things way better. Despite all of her constellations are amazing, her first is arguably the best.
Why Snowswept Sakura is Great for Ayaka
- When Kamisato Ayaka's Normal or Charged Attacks deal Cryo DMG to opponents, it has a 50% chance of decreasing the CD of Kamisato Art: Hyouka by 0.3s. This effect can occur once every 0.1s.
- If you use Ayaka in a conventional way, you will always be doing Cryo damage, and that will allow you to spam your elemental skill.
Tartaglia (Havoc: Annihilation)
(The youngest of the Fatui Harbingers)
One of the biggest flaws Tartaglia has is the long cooldown of his elemental skill, this is the main reason some people haven’t pulled for him in his past three banners, although he's still a great character with some interesting constellations.
Why Havoc: Annihilation is great or Tartaglia?
- When Havoc: Obliteration is cast in Melee Stance, the CD of Foul Legacy: Raging Tide is reset. This effect will only take place once Tartaglia returns to his Ranged Stance.
- This pretty much allows Tartaglia to use his melee stance permanently, his main source of dealing a lot of damage.
Diluc (Flaming Sword, Nemesis of Dark)
(The tycoon from Mondstadt)
This tycoon from Mondstadt has some amazing constellations. He deals decent damage and has the advantage of having a Pyro vision, since all Pyro characters have the chance of dealing the most damage through elemental reactions.
Why Flaming Sword, Nemesis of Dark is great for Diluc
- After casting Searing Onslaught, the next 2 Normal Attacks within the next 6s will have their DMG and ATK SPD increased by 30%.
- Additionally, Searing Onslaught will not interrupt the Normal Attack combo.
Eula (Tidal Illusion)
(The queen of physical damage)
Eula is another Cryo character whose damage is insane, but Eula’s most damage is physical. Physical damage is a reliable source of damage against almost all enemies, and Eula excels at it.
Why Tidal Illusion is great for Eula
- Every time Icetide Vortex's Grimheart stacks are consumed, Eula's Physical DMG is increased by 30% for 6s. Each stack consumed will increase the duration of this effect by 6s up to a maximum of 18s.
Ganyu (Dew-Drinker)
(The imposing suspected to be the Cocogoat)
Ganyu has been crowned by the Genshin Impact community and tier lists as the best DPS in the game, her playstyle is quite simple and straightforward. Her constellations are interesting and the best one is the first.
Why Dew-Drinker is great for Ganyu
- Taking DMG from a Charge Level 2 Frostflake Arrow or Frostflake Arrow Bloom decreases opponents' Cryo RES by 15% for 6s.
- A hit regenerates 2 Energy for Ganyu. This effect can only occur once per Charge Level 2 Frostflake Arrow, regardless if Frostflake Arrow itself or its Bloom hit the target.
- The benefit of gaining energy for every hit is highly valuable to spam her burst.
Hu Tao (Crimson Bouquet)
(A funerary director with strange sales strategies)
The 77th director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor is a powerful DPS with constellations that unlock her true potential and allow a smoother playstyle. Her best constellation is her first one, which removes the cost of stamina for her charged attacks.
Why Crimson Bouquet is great for Hu Tao
- While in a Paramita Papilio state, activated by Guide to Afterlife, Hu Tao's Charged Attacks do not consume Stamina.
- One key feature of Hu Tao is canceling the animations of her charged attacks in order to spam them as much as possible. Therefore not having to worry about stamina thanks to her first constellation, is a huge bonus.
Jean (People's Aegis)
(Mondstadt's bravest heroine)

- This constellation enables Kazuha to be a full DPS anemo character that can overcome any challenge.
Keqing (Attunement)
(The Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing who works non-stop)
Keqing, Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing, is one of the permanent 5-star characters. Keqin’s constellations improve her damage in general, both elemental damage and physical damage as well, her fourth constellation is her best.

- Having this constellation works wonders for the whole team since the defense will be decreased.
Sangonomiya Kokomi (The Moon Overlooks The Waters)
(The mastermind from Watatsumi Island)

Why The Moon Overlooks The Waters is great for Sangonomiya Kokomi
- While donning the Ceremonial Garment created by Nereid's Ascension, Sangonomiya Kokomi's Normal Attack SPD is increased by 10%, and Normal Attacks that hit opponents will restore 0.8 Energy for her. This effect can occur once every 0.2s.
- The fact that she can restore energy with charged attacks comes great to spam her ultimate.
Mona (Prophecy of Oblivion)
(The broke astrologist)
Mona, another of the permanent 5-star characters, has a pretty great kit. She can work as both a DPS or a support. Her ultimate is widely used to buff the damage of other characters, and the fourth constellation is the best one.
Why Prophecy of Oblivion is great for Mona

(The great Anemo archon)

Anemo Traveler (Intertwined Winds)
(The best constellation for the first element the Traveler adopts)
The traveler is the main character that we get to control as soon as the story begins, and of course, he or she is the protagonist of it alongside his or her twin. Because the Traveler is gathering the power of the seven elements nation by nation, he has access to some cool constellations.
Why Intertwined Winds is great for Anemo Traveler
- Targets who take DMG from Gust Surge have their Anemo RES decreased by 20%.
- If an Elemental Absorption occurred, then their RES towards the corresponding element is also decreased by 20%.
- This is especially amazing if you also equip him or her with the Viridescent Veneer set to further decrease the swirled element RES.
Geo Traveler (Invincible Stonewall)
(Invincible Stonewall is the most useful constellation of the Geo Traveller)
As the second element we adopt when we arrive at the first statue of the seven in Liyue. Geo traveler’s constellations are ok with the first one, Invincible Stonewall, being the best out of the six.

(Electro is the last element the Traveler has gotten so far)
Electro is the last element that we have seen the Traveler adopt so far in the story. With this element, the Traveler’s playstyle and abilities are oriented towards supporting your team with energy recharge and restoration.
Why Fickle Cloudstrike is great for Electro Traveler
- When a character obtains Abundance Amulets generated by Lightning Blade, if this character's Energy is less than 35%, the Energy restored by the Abundance Amulets is increased by 100%

(One of the most expected Anemo characters there are)
Guardian Yaksha, Xiao, is a capable Anemo DPS that does serious damage without much effort. His constellations are amazing and the best is the six one, where he becomes god-like.
Why Conqueror of Evil: Guardian Yaksha is great for Xiao
- While under the effects of Bane of All Evil, hitting at least 2 opponents with Xiao's Plunging Attack will immediately grant him 1 charge of Lemniscatic Wind Cycling.
- For the next 1s, he may use Lemniscatic Wind Cycling while ignoring its CD.
- The fact that you can use his elemental skill while ignoring its CD during a second is totally insane because you can spam it as much as possible during that second.
Yoimiya (A Procession Of Bonfires)
(The maker of gorgeous fireworks)
The second Pyro character that wields a bow in Genshin Impact. Yoimiya’s abilities work amazing as a support, but she can be a DPS. Her constellations are amazing and increase her damage, the best one is A Procession Of Bonfires.
