What are some of the best loadouts in Insurgency: Sandstorm?
Can't seem to find the right loadout that can give you an edge over your enemies? Fear not, because today, we'll be taking a look at 10 loadouts to help you win and get more kills!
Note: All loadouts will be based on PvP, excluding Domination.
10. Smoke Loadout

“Smoke out!”
This loadout focuses on helping your team to push through an objective. Smoking enemy positions and entry points can open up many opportunities for your team to secure a contested objective and achieve victory.
The primary weapon for this loadout is the M16A4 with an underbarrel smoke launcher. For the explosives slot, take smoke grenades.
Using the heavy carrier will open up an additional explosive slot, allowing you to carry three smoke grenades. This also allows the underbarrel smoke launcher to carry three smokes, giving you a total of six. Use these to create a wall of smoke cover to help your teammates push or block the enemy path.
With all these, you should still have three supply points left.

9. M82A1 CQ Loadout

Do you want to blow up a technical with just two shots? Do you hate it when enemies hide behind cover? If you said yes to any of these, this loadout is just for you.
The M82A1 CQ is an anti-material rifle. It can penetrate many covers with ease and two-shot a technical. Take an extended magazine to double the mag capacity. As for the scope, it’s entirely up to you. But I find the 4x - 1x scopes as the sweet spot in terms of the zoom magnification.
Take a secondary weapon in case you get caught in tight situations. For this, take the PF940 with an extended magazine.

8. Explosives Loadout

Bring destruction upon the enemy by tearing their positions and crippling their defenses with this loadout. As the name suggests, this loadout focuses on explosives.
The primary weapon is the AKM with an underbarrel explosive launcher. For the explosives, the RPG-7 is very effective against technicals and supply caches.
A heavy carrier will allow you to carry two rockets for your rocket launcher and two grenades for the explosive launcher. Use these to flush out enemies inside buildings or those hiding behind cover.

Block their paths with superior firepower. Use this loadout to support pushing teammates or for area denial when defending.
The primary weapon is the MG3. Very lethal when placed correctly due to its very high rate of fire. Taking extended magazines will double the mag capacity from 50 to 100. As for the scope, you can use either 1x or 2x optics. For the explosives, take a molotov for area denial.
Bring a heavy carrier to get an additional box for the MG3. This will allow you to carry three boxes.

6. TOZ-194 Loadout

This loadout allows for high mobility combined with the lethality of the TOZ-194. You can one-shot enemies, regardless of armor, at close range.
The primary weapon is the TOZ-194. Deadly at close range as long as you’re accurate with every shot. Improve its effectiveness with an aiming grip for faster ADS. A compensator can also help reduce vertical and horizontal recoil by a bit. As for the rounds, use flechettes for higher effectiveness against heavily armored enemies and slug rounds for increased effectiveness at long range.
Bring two flashbangs for clearing rooms and indoor fighting. As for the armor, you can choose not to use one if you need the extra speed.

5. MP7 Loadout

“Breach, breach, breach!”
This loadout aims to be as lightweight as possible, which means ditching the armor and maybe even the carrier. By being lightweight, you get increased mobility and with this, you can flank and ambush enemies from areas they least expect. Dominate indoor and close-quarters combat with this loadout.
The primary weapon is the MP7, a lightweight and fast-firing weapon for close-quarters combat. Take the aiming grip along with it to ADS faster, and an extended magazine upgrade to double the mag capacity.
For the utility, bring a single flashbang to aid you in close-range engagements. This will make resisting enemies easier to deal with.
For the carrier, it’s up to you if you need the extra magazines. Ditching the carrier will get you somewhere below 30% weight, gaining more mobility but losing a few mags in the process.

Much like the MP7 loadout, but this time for the Insurgents. This loadout also focuses on being lightweight, allowing for fast movement with high lethality at close range.
The primary weapon is the AS Val, it has a high rate of fire with an integrated suppressor. Use this to your advantage whenever huge fights break out. Your suppressed shots will make it harder for enemies to hear, allowing you to eliminate more enemies before being detected. Take an aiming grip to allow for faster ADS and extended mags to up the mag capacity to 30. And finally, use any scope based on your preference.

The primary weapon for this loadout is the Mk 17 Mod 0 or better known as SCAR-H. It’s a versatile weapon that is effective for any range. Use extended magazines to up the mag capacity to 30 and a recoil grip to have better control over recoil. You can go for either a 1x or 2x - 1x scope.
For the explosives, bring either a frag or a pair of smoke grenades, depending on your playstyle and needs.

2. FAL Loadout

Focusing on versatility, this loadout can fulfill different roles if needed. Act as a sniper to engage enemies from afar or two tap enemies at close to medium range.
The primary weapon for this loadout is the FAL. Effective at medium to long-range, this weapon is a practical alternative to sniper rifles if the Marksman class isn’t available. Buy a flash hider to avoid catching the enemies’ attention with your muzzle flash, and a recoil grip to better control the high recoil of the gun.
You can choose to bring either a grenade or molotov paired with a smoke grenade, depending on your needs. If you need to block an entry point, a molotov should help you with that. Need to force enemies out from hiding? A well-placed grenade should help you with that.

1. Mk 14 EBR Loadout

Eliminate enemies from a distance with this loadout. Proper positioning and knowledge of the map will help you get the most kills for your team.
The primary weapon is the Mk 17 EBR, a gun with high stopping power and has selective fire, which makes it suitable even for close range. Any optic should do just fine, but I find the 4x - 1x SU230 BUS to be the best since it’s got two zoom levels, and the 4x zoom level is just right. Take a flash hider to make your shots less visible and a bipod to stabilize the gun while prone. As your sidearm, bring the Tariq.
