League of Legends: How To Add Friends

Playing with friends makes any video game significantly more fun and enjoyable, be it from adding people from your league of legends club in school or from a friendly player you encountered in-game. League has 2 main ways to add other players, one from the in-client icon and another in the post-game screen.

Adding friends via the client

Step 1: In the league client, click on the “Add Friend” icon on the right hand side of the client, just below your summoner icon.

Step 2: While in the menu, enter your friend’s summoner name and send a friend request.

Adding people from post-match

Step 1: After finishing a match, hover your cursor over a player’s icon and an option to add them as a friend will appear.

Step 2: Click on the “Add Friend” option and a friend request will be sent to them.
