Phasmophobia: How To Talk To Ghosts

Want to communicate with some ghosts? Does everybody?
Playing Phasmophobia is a lot of fun since you get to engage and communicate with all different kinds of ghosts. Here is a guide on how to talk to ghosts because you can be a successful ghost hunter even if you can't communicate with them.

Step 1: What Equipment Will Help Me Hear And Talk To Ghosts

There are certain equipment that you can buy for every contract that will help you hear and talk to ghosts these are:

  • Spirit box ($50)
  • Parabolic microphone ($50)
  • ouija board (cursed item)

Step 2: How To Use A Spirit Box

A spirit box is a handy tool for when you want to speak to the ghosts! It uses radio frequencies to allow ghosts to speak. Cool right?
You can only buy two spirit boxes per contract, but you should be able to use them as many times as you want. For the spirit box to be used correctly, you have to be in the ghost room or around three metres from where the ghost spawns.

Step 3: Asking The General Questions For Spirit Box

During the game, some ghosts will mostly communicate with you via a spirit box. Integrating the ghost and evaluating their response is the entire purpose of the spirit box.

Here are a few questions that you can ask using a spirit box:

  • Where are you?
  • Are you close?
  • Are you angry?
  • What do you want?
  • Can you give us a sign?
  • Can you talk?
  • Is anyone here??

Step 4:  What’s A Parabolic Microphone?

A parabolic microphone is a fantastic device that will make you listen to all the sounds the ghost will make, even though they won't communicate with you through it. It is a charming little technique to hear what the ghost sounds like and can detect sounds from a considerable distance. For instance, if the ghost is a banshee, the parabolic should pick up a loud scream.

Step 5: The Ouija Board

The Ouija board is another technique you might use to communicate with ghosts. You can ask certain questions and the ghost will speak to you through this cursed item. Be sure to say goodbye after use, though, or you will cause a hunt!
