[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Ying Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Ying Loadouts in R6 Siege
The best five loadouts for playing one of the best crowd control operators in Siege more effectively

As the image caption above says, Ying is one of the best operators in Siege when it comes to crowd control primarily because of her special gadget, the Candela, which is very effective at blinding enemies. If you’re on the defending side and your team doesn’t have Jager or Wamai and the attacking team has Ying, it’s safe to assume that the defenders anchoring the objective spot would easily fall prey to her.

That’s because it’s very hard to avoid being blinded by her Candelas when they pop off near you, and to top it all off, Ying has a wide array of weapons and gadgets that are well designed for her role as a crowd control operator.

5. SIX12 with Reflex B and Laser + Q-929 with Suppressor and Laser + Smoke Grenade

The SIX12 shotgun doesn’t have an integrated suppressor like its SD variant which is available only to Nokk and Lesion, but in the hands of Ying, it’s still very viable. That’s because Ying can blind enemies first inside the objective spot using her Candelas before she goes in to pepper them with shots after shot from the SIX12 shotgun. It’s probably why Ubisoft didn’t give Ying the SD variant, because it would be practically overpowered in her hands. Imagine being blinded by her Candelas and she’s damaging you while you can’t hear where she’s damaging you from.

The Reflex B 1.0x sight is the best sight for Ying’s SIX12 shotgun and in most shotguns in general. That’s because its small frame offers a clear view of the surroundings since it doesn’t eat up a lot of screen space. This is a really good sight for shotguns which don't need to be aimed with pinpoint accuracy due to its pellet spread. What’s more frightening about Ying’s SIX12 shotgun is that unlike most shotguns in the game, it can be reloaded fast because of its detachable magazine. The smoke grenade as Ying’s generic gadget will give her and her teammates plenty of cover and will allow her to get closer to her enemies, which is perfect for the SIX12 shotgun.

Excels in:

  • Close quarters combat due to the pellet spread of the SIX12 shotgun as well as its fast reload speed due to its detachable magazine
  • Having a clear view of the front and surroundings when aiming-down-sights due to the small frame of the Reflex B 1.0x sight
  • Having tight hip fire on the SIX12 shotgun due to the laser attachment, making it even more effective at close range
  • Being able to shoot defender gadgets especially CCTV cameras with much less risk of alerting the enemies with the use of the suppressed Q-929 handgun
  • Providing a good amount of cover for you and the whole team through the use of the smoke grenades which is a great partner for the SIX12 shotgun

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - SIX12 with Reflex B and Laser
  • Secondary weapon - Q-929 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Smoke Grenade

4. T-95 LSW with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Angled Grip + Q-929 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Smoke Grenade

Like I said above in the SIX12 shotgun’s entry, it would be quite overpowered for Ying to be shooting at blinded enemies with a silent shotgun. However, with this loadout, Ying will be able to achieve something like that, just not with a shotgun. Don’t get the wrong idea though, because it would still be with a very powerful weapon. The T-95 LSW deals heavy damage per shot, has a manageable recoil, and because of its detachable magazine, it can be reloaded quickly unlike most light machine guns. And because of the suppressor on its barrel, this loadout setup is perfect for finishing blinded enemies.

That’s because the suppressor will remove the directional threat indicator of the shots from the T-95 LSW. It will also hide its muzzle flash as well as greatly dampen its gunshot sounds. So the enemies that Ying have blinded with her Candelas wouldn’t be able to counter attack by guessing where she is through her gunshot sounds. The angled grip attachment would let Ying go into aim-down-sights stance faster so she will be able to aim and react to her enemies faster. But with this setup, I recommend the player to stick with short sprays since there would be no recoil-benefit providing attachments on the T-95 LSW.

Excels in:

  • Shooting blinded enemies without giving away your position through sound cues with the suppressor greatly dampening the gunshot sounds of the T-95 LSW
  • Being able to shoot at enemies without providing them a directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from
  • Lessening the visual cues that enemies could react to with the suppressor hiding the muzzle flash of the T-95 LSW
  • Having great recoil control on the Q-929 handgun due to the muzzle brake and tight hip fire due to the laser attachment
  • Providing extra cover for a push through the use of the two smoke grenades in Ying’s generic gadget slot

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - T-95 LSW with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Angled Grip
  • Secondary weapon - Q-929 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Smoke Grenade

3. T-95 LSW with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Q-929 with Suppressor and Laser + Hard Breach Charge

Due to the recent recoil progression overhaul, it has become much harder to hold down the recoil of guns during long sprays, and this affects light machine guns more so than most guns in the game. That’s why it’s more challenging to hold down the recoil of Ying’s T-95 LSW nowadays. But with both the flash hider and vertical grip attachments present on the weapon, its vertical recoil will be a lot weaker, and Ying would be able to fire it in longer sprays with much more stability. And for a lot of players, having the best vertical recoil possible on their weapons is the best way when it comes to taking down enemies.

For the T-95 LSW’s sight, the scope 2.0x will provide Ying with ample amount of zoom while also not compromising a lot on peripheral view. That’s because its frame doesn’t consume a lot of screen space, and its zoom level is quite balanced, providing a good amount of zoom while maintaining a wide peripheral view. For the secondary weapon, you’ll be running with the suppressed Q-929 handgun for times when you need to shoot defender gadgets such as CCTV cameras silently. Even if enemies hear that a camera was shot, it will be harder for them to guess where you are.

Excels in:

  • Having great vertical recoil control on the T-95 LSW due to the presence of both the flash hider and vertical grip attachments
  • The scope 2.0x providing great balance between zoom levels and peripheral view which is perfect for any range in Siege
  • The detachable magazine of the T-95 LSW will allow Ying to quickly reload during times of intense exchanges with the enemy
  • Being able to shoot defender cameras and other gadgets with much less risk of alerting the enemies by using the suppressed Q-929 handgun
  • Destroying two reinforced hatches or performing hard breaching on walls using the hard breach charges in Ying’s generic gadget slot

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - T-95 LSW with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - Q-929 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Hard Breach Charge

2. T-95 LSW with Scope 2.0x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + Q-929 with Suppressor and Laser + Hard Breach Charge

While the above entry offers the best vertical recoil on the T-95 LSW, this loadout setup is higher in rank because it provides an overall more stable recoil. That’s because the recoil diamonds of the T-95 LSW are quite big. That means it has a high propensity for horizontal and random recoil from all directions. And when it comes to reducing the size of a weapon’s recoil diamonds, the compensator barrel attachment is the best. So, with this loadout setup, you’ll be hitting your targets more accurately because of the stabler recoil provided by the compensator.

Of course, I wouldn’t recommend firing the T-95 LSW even with this loadout setup for too long. But as the recoil test screenshot below shows, you’ll be able to fire more than 30 bullets with the T-95 in this setup without losing much control, and 30 bullets is a lot. That’s the average magazine size for assault rifles, so you could just think of it as using an assault rifle and after 30 shots, instead of having to reload, all you have to do is stop firing for a bit and regroup yourself. The vertical grip attachment will maintain a great deal of vertical recoil control on the T-95 LSW so you’ll be reducing both horizontal and vertical recoils in this setup.

Excels in:

  • Having the most stable recoil possible on the T-95 LSW because of the compensator reducing the size of its recoil diamonds
  • Maintaining an ample amount of vertical recoil control on the T-95 LSW with the use of the vertical grip attachment
  • Having a really good amount of zoom level with the scope 2.0x while not sacrificing a lot of peripheral view
  • Shooting enemy gadgets like cameras more silently and with less chance of alerting the enemies through the use of the suppressed Q-929 handgun
  • Performing hard breaching on reinforced hatches or walls through the use of the two hard breach charges in Ying’s arsenal

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - T-95 LSW with Scope 2.0x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - Q-929 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Hard Breach Charge

1. T-95 LSW with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + Q-929 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Hard Breach Charge

This is the best loadout setup for Ying because it provides the best balance between stealth benefits and recoil control. Unlike loadout setup number four, Ying will be running with a vertical grip instead of the angled one with this setup. That is so that she’ll be able to control the recoil of the T-95 LSW better, which is very important when it comes to hitting and taking out enemies. The vertical grip will also make the T-95 LSW more viable for medium range shooting so that Ying will be able to accurately hit her targets even without blinding them first with her Candelas.

Of course, with this loadout setup, Ying will be able to enjoy shooting her opponents without immediately giving away her position because the suppressor will hide the T-95 LSW’s muzzle flash, directional threat indicator, and greatly dampen its gunshot sounds. So when it comes to medium to long-range shooting, it will be really hard for enemies to know where you’re shooting them from. And since the suppressor doesn’t add any recoil control benefits, I suggest sticking to shorter sprays for this setup. However, as shown in the recoil test below, you can continuously shoot around 30 bullets with it without really losing control.

Excels in:

  • Shooting enemies without providing them a directional threat indicator due to the suppressor on the T-95 LSW
  • Lessening the visual cues that enemies could react to with the suppressor on the T-95 LSW hiding its muzzle flash
  • Making it harder for enemies to determine your location with the suppressor greatly dampening the T-95 LSW’s gunshot sounds
  • Maintaining great vertical recoil on the T-95 LSW due to the vertical grip attachment
  • Having great recoil control and tight hip fire on the Q-929 handgun because of the muzzle brake and laser attachments
  • Being able to perform hard breaching on walls or reinforced hatches with the two hard breach charges in Ying’s arsenal

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - T-95 LSW with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - Q-929 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Hard Breach Charge
