Let’s face it, Rocket League wouldn’t be the game it is today without the ability to customize any of their cars to your liking. The best Rocket League gamers not only score goals but score goals in style. With hundreds of customizable options to choose from, special editions and unlockable packages, and new add ons every season - there’s no reason you shouldn't add your own flair to the arena. Step into each match with the best-looking skins, toppers, and wheels. Here are the best wheels released in Rocket League and why they're so stunning.
10) Lowrider Wheels
An easily unlockable wheel, the Lowrider wheels add flair to your car that can be seen from miles away. If you want a wheel that will give your car a classic look with a bit of style, look no further. With nine different color variations, these wheels can make any car look like it should be in a magazine. Unlock the Lowrider wheels simply by completing matches in casual or ranked game modes. Show your opponents some style with the Lowrider wheel package and you’ll want to add subwoofers next.
9) Tunica Wheels
In-person, you might have seen Tunica wheels on an exotic BMW, Mercedes, or even Maserati. They’re cool. And they make your car look fast. With over 12 different types of paint jobs, it’s hard not to pick these for your whip. Easy to unlock, by playing casual or ranked matches, these should be in every player’s rotation. Pick the Tunica wheelset if you want to make your car a winner.
8) Apex Wheels
Apex Wheels are tough! If you were registered for Fan Rewards and watched the RLCS on Twitch starting from June 2, 2017 to January 28, 2018, you could receive these wheels as a random drop during the live broadcast. Now, you could only hope to trade with someone who has them. The 13 different colors all have their own pizazz and they can make any of your cars look like Zeus’s personal vehicle. Keep them in mind when you are trading for other players, they are hard to come by!
7) Christiano Wheels
Rocket League is best described as playing soccer with cars. And who’s sometimes known as the greatest soccer player in the world? Christiano Ronaldo. It’s no wonder the creators of Rocket League decided to dedicate some really cool wheels to the legendary soccer player. Like it’s pictured above, these wheels will make your car belong in the Arena… and dominate anyone who stands in your way. If you’re on PC or PS I am sorry, this set is available to all Xbox players.
6) Goldstone Wheels
Goldstone Alpha wheels are a party on your car. If you want to stop your opponent in their tracks, equipping the Goldstone set is a great way to do it. But they’re hard to get. These wheels were only available to players playing the Alpha version of the game, and they’re expensive if you want to buy them. Today you can find them at the store for almost 270,000 rocket league credits. A price you can pay to stand out from the rest.
5) Painted Cobalt Infinium Wheels
The Cobalt Infinite Wheels are something else. Looking straight off the set of Back to the Future, if you want to zoom past all other players, the Cobalt Infinite wheels will make it seem like you are. Classified as an exotic rarity, these wheels were released on Feb, 7th, 2018, and were introduced in the Victory crate. Be lucky and find these wheels, now, in a blueprint, or trade it with a player that has them. However you do it, you’re going to want to get your hands on these bad boys.
4) Septem Wheels
Sleek, slick, and full of style, Septum wheels are a Rocket League staple. All experienced players have then in their arsenal, and if you don’t, you’re simply missing out. Beautiful lights, lines, and colors, these wheels are a collector’s dream. Along with 13 different colors that affect not only the rim, but the tire as well, these wheels light your way to unlimited goals. Look for them in Turbo crates, or get someone to trade them.
3) Yamane Wheels
Yamane Wheels are a car designer's delight. Robust and bold, Yamane Wheels stand out among the rest. Making the illusion that your car is faster than everybody else’s, these wheels must be in your garage. Find them in the Elevation crates. Color them with 13 different colors and watch them make a statement. Pull into your match with these wheels equipped, and you’ll have everybody’s respect.
2) SLK Wheels
The SLK Wheels are very rare… and for a reason. Powerful looking, they’ll make any car look like a supercar. Unlock these wheels by opening the right Overdrive crate, or trading in five rare items from the same crate. When you get them, you’ve got 13 styles to choose from and an unlimited amount of swagger.
1) Glave: Inverted Wheels
If Elon Musk and Tesla make a wheel package for Rocket League, these would be what they come up with. Big, beautiful, and not like any other, the Glave: Inverted wheels will make you look like a professional… and your opponents like beginners. Buy these wheels in the store, but at a price. But if you want to dominate and stomp all over the other team… I recommend paying that price.
Rocket League makes it known, the features don’t provide any advantages and are purely cosmetic. But we all know this is for legality purposes. Putting the coolest wheels on your ride might not make it faster, stronger, or better in any way… but they will make the user feel invincible. Customize your ride, collect and trade the best items, and leave your mark on every match you enter.
