Rust has announced its 2021 Halloween pumpkin carving competition winners.
The Rust Halloween event started on 28 October 2021. As part of their Halloween celebration, Rust ran a pumpkin carving competition from 28 October 2021 until 7 November 2021.
For the competition, Rust added an in-game carvable pumpkin item. Players were required to carve the scariest, wildest, and most creative designs they could think of into the carvable pumpkin item.
To enter players had to take a screenshot of their designs and post them to Twitter with the hashtag #RustHalloween.
A maximum number of 3 entries were allowed per player. Entries were evaluated for creativity and design. Furthermore, carved pumpkins were not required to be Halloween-themed to qualify for evaluation.
The winner and runner-up were announced on Monday, 8 November 2021. The winner of the Rust Halloween pumpkin carving competition is @rin_graphics with their entry titled “Alone in the dark.” First place won £75 worth of Rust skins of their choice and 2 Rust DLC keys.
The runner-up went to @RoMaZ98 with their entry titled “Escape”. Runner-up won £50 worth of Rust skins of their choice and 1 Rust DLC key.
Rust congratulates the winners on their inspiring creativity and excellent pumpkin carving skills. Furthermore, Rust thanks all the players that entered the competition for their time, effort, and creativity.
