Light Armor or Heavy Armor??

This argument has been around since the dawn of time. But it really all comes down to how you play the game. Light armor is better for stealth and if you use mainly ranged attacks. While heavy armor will slow you down, you won't take as much of a beating. This is great for melee combat. Which is the best? Who knows? But I know where is the best armor you can craft and find in 7DTD.

5. Padded Armor

It's more than just padding.

Padded Armor is lightweight and a great way to start off the game. Unlike Leather Armor, Padded Armor can be crafted with no schematic. It also uses fewer resources.

  • Stamina won’t decrease
  • Good for stealth
  • No perks to gain
  • Minimal resources to craft

  • Heavy armor for added protection
  • Scrap iron is fairly easy to find
  • More protection from attacks

You can't stop me!!

If you choose to go the heavy armor route, steel armor is your best choice. It is the armor with the highest armor rating in the game. If you enjoy getting up close and personal with zombies, you will want to invest in it.

  • No perk needed to craft
  • Looks cool!
