Military Armor is an excellent option for those who prefer Light Armor, yet are looking for that added durability.

- Noise Increase 10%
- Max Durability 1000
Military Armor, though slightly more challenging to acquire, can be obtained through looting or by crafting.

3. Scrap Armor Set
How scrappy
As the lowest cost Heavy Armor set (in terms of resources), Scrap Armor is a pretty easy option and can be acquired relatively early on in the game.

- Stamina -0.9
- Mobility -6%
- Noise Increase 20%
- Max Durability 700
Scrap Armor can be obtained through looting or crafting. Scrap Armor uses a lot of Scrap Iron, which can be collected by scrapping iron items such as football helmets, pipes, pots, grills, or empty cans.

- 150 Scrap Iron
- 6 Leather
- 3 Duct Tape
2. Iron Armor Set
Riding in style
Iron Armor is one of the better Heavy Armor sets available and a viable option quite early in the game.
If losing your stealth is a concern when donning a Heavy Armor set, remember that you can always add Muffled Connectors, which reduces sound from armor.

Last but certainly not least is Steel Armor. Though more costly to make, the increased durability is definitely worth forking out the extra resources, especially if you fancy yourself a Heavy Armor fan.
