Animal Crossing: New Horizons How To Plant A Tree

If you’re just starting your island life on Animal Crossing, one of the essentials is knowing how to plant some trees all through your island. There are just a couple of things that you’ll need beforehand, the first one is a shovel that you can either build yourself or buy from the Nook brothers at Nook’s Cranny and a sapling which can be cedar or a regular one. It doesn’t really matter which one you choose as long as you’re following the style you’re aiming for, and even that can be changed later without a problem.

 

The first thing you need to do is choose the perfect spot for your tree; you’ll need to take into account the fact that trees cannot be planted near cliffs, rivers, buildings, and some types of ground. Once you’ve chosen the spot, you just need to dig up a hole with your shovel and plant the tree!
