[Top 10] Bloodborne Best Arcane Weapons and How To Get Them
Versatile phantasms guide your hand

We all want a dash of the Arcane spirit, something to make the dread of the night pass more easily. For this means you can employ Arcane weapons, weapons imbued with Arcane damage for various purposes. This list will cover some of the most popular and most effective Arcane weapons, ranging from simple weapons with natural Arcane scaling, to Hunter Tools that allow you to assault enemies with volleys of magic (looking at you, A Call Beyond).

10. Rosmarinus

How to get the Rosmarinus

To kick things off, a bit of pest control. We have the Rosmarinus, a tool of the Healing Church used to cleanse impurities within those that have been affected by the Beastly Scourge. It is a notoriously powerful sidearm, capable of producing a wide arc in front of the player character, not allowing anything to get close. It has very good Arcane scaling, and it is near-instant to use, along with the additional benefit of consuming one QS bullet per second of spraying.

What makes the Rosmarinus great:

  • High Arcane scaling and Arcane damage
  • Wide area of effect
  • Possible stagger potential
  • Can be boosted with Bone Marrow Ash

Weapon stats:

  • Base: 30 Arcane damage | Arcane scaling: B
  • Rosmarinus +3: 45 Arcane damage | Arcane scaling: B
  • Rosmarinus +6: 60 Arcane damage | Arcane scaling: A
  • Rosmarinus +10: 80 Arcane damage | Arcane scaling: S

9. Flamesprayer

How to get the Flamesprayer

Here we have a necessary choice for most Arcane builds, as it has decent base Arcane damage and deals Fire damage, ideal for culling the scourge of beasts. Basically, it is the exact same as the Rosmarinus, except it uses flames instead of magic-infused mist. To make the most of it, you can use oil urns, which will enhance the damage you deal.

What makes the Flamesprayer great:

  • Decent Fire damage
  • Good for all-around Arcane builds
  • Can be buffed with oil
  • Does not consume stamina while in use
  • Can also be buffed with Bone Marrow Ash

Weapon stats:

  • Base: 45 Fire damage | Arcane scaling: D
  • Flamesprayer +3: 60 Fire damage | Arcane scaling: D
  • Flamesprayer +6: 75 Fire damage | Arcane scaling: D
  • Flamesprayer +10: 95 Fire damage | Arcane scaling: B

8. Tonitrus

How to get the Tonitrus

Archibald, the eccentric of the Healing Church created this weapon as a means of purification, and to satiate his obsession with the electric Darkbeasts. In general, it is a fun weapon capable of dealing Bolt damage when transformed. Unfortunately, it does not get a different tricked moveset, like other weapons, but merely adds a Bolt element to the attacks. Can be found in Yahar’gul, at the giant door opposite the boss.

What makes the Tonitrus great:

  • Decent Strength scaling
  • Added Bolt damage
  • High damage in tricked form
  • Tricking the weapon adds extra Arcane scaling

Weapon stats:

  • Base: 80 physical damage | Arcane scaling: D
  • Tonitrus +3: 104 physical damage | Arcane scaling: D
  • Tonitrus +6: 128 physical damage | Arcane scaling: D
  • Tonitrus +10: 160 physical damage | Arcane scaling: D

7. Burial Blade

Up next, we have the Burial Blade. Not a classic Arcane weapon by any means, but it does have some innate Arcane scaling, seeing as it is made of siderite, a mineral from the heavens. Its composition means that it can’t be buffed by Bolt/Fire Paper, but the Arcane scaling makes up for that. To get the weapon, you must fight Gehrman and win. He will drop the Old Hunter Badge and it will allow you to buy the Burial Blade at the bath messengers.

What makes the Burial Blade great:

  • Innate Arcane scaling
  • Very good moveset
  • High attack speed
  • Bonus damage on quickstep and sprinting attacks

Weapon stats:

  • Base: 80 physical damage | Arcane scaling: D
  • Burial Blade +3: 104 physical damage | Arcane scaling: D
  • Burial Blade +6: 128 physical damage | Arcane scaling: C
  • Burial Blade +10: 160 physical damage | Arcane scaling: B

6. Hunter Tools

How to get every Hunter Tool

A rather peculiar addition to this list, but necessary nonetheless. The Hunter Tools offer a means of rampaging through the game as you see fit. Each tool is excellent in most situations, plus their very high Arcane scaling is another bonus to their efficiency. When using an Arcane build, most of the time Hunter Tools are going to be a main focus, plus a weapon or two.

What makes Hunter Tools great:

  • High versatility
  • High Arcane scaling
  • High damage
  • Efficient QS bullet use
  • Added ranged combat
