The Legion, also known as Frank, Julie, Susie, and Joey, are one of the killers that have been introduced in chapter 10: Darkness among us, on December 2018. The killer has an interesting name of 4 people, due to the story that can be perceived where the group of four friends broke in into the store and stabbed the cleaner who was still in there, and not just Frank, but all of them were in it together stabbing the cleaner one by one, where supposedly this action created a killer of what is now called Legion, consuming the teenagers, one by one, just like killing the killer. But this is just a theory, and no one knows what happens.

Nonetheless, let's look at Legion's best build, which would have the ability to sacrifice and consume survivors in the game even faster and more effectively.:

5. The Corrupted Legion Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by RedsGamingGears

The Corrupted Legion Build has its own uses, and with the perk corrupt intervention to be linked with legion is another story. The perk is so well suited to the legion that the survivors won't even have the chance to escape, as, in the small vast area, the legion could easily get a hit or two and make a head start in this game until the perk is finished and all the generators are active again.

Nonetheless, the build also consists of thanatophobia which slows down the game massively, creating a great advantage for the legion because of his speed, and the way it can create pressure on the survivors and the game itself, making it a great build suited for the killer.

What The Corrupted Legion Build Excels In:

  • With Thanatophobia you will be able to slow down the game substantially, and at the same time, create a slow generator environment with the combination of other perks, where you are able to hold back the survivors and make them concentrate on the chases, therefore having more chance to sacrifice one of the survivors, especially with legion as he has more speed and therefore making the game quicker for the killer itself.

  • With the perk Jolt, it fits perfectly with the perk Scourge Hook: Pain resonance, as the regressing of the generators, go step-by-step by the perk, and therefore after downing a survivor a generator starts regressing, and this follows on with hooking the survivor, where the generator is regressed even more.

Build details & Perks:

  • Jolt: When you put a Survivor into the Dying State with your Basic Attack, all Generators within 32 metres of you instantly explode and start regressing. Applies an immediate 6/7/8 % Progression penalty.
  • Thanatophobia: Each injured, dying, or hooked Survivor afflicts Survivors with a stackable 1/1.5/2 % Action Speed penalty to Repairing, Sabotaging, and Cleansing, up to a maximum of 4/6/8 %. Increases the Action Speed penalty by a further 12 %, if there are 4 Survivors, who are either injured, dying, or hooked at the same time.
  • Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance: At the start of the Trial, 4 random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks: The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white. Each time a Survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook, the following effects apply: The Generator with the most Progression explodes, instantly losing 9/12/15 % of its Progression and starting to regress. Survivors repairing that Generator will scream, but not reveal their location.
  • Corrupt Intervention: At the start of the Trial, the 3 Generators located farthest from you are blocked by The Entity for 80/100/120 seconds. Corrupt Intervention deactivates prematurely once the first Survivor is put into the Dying State

4. The Dissolved "No Escape" Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by CoconutRTS

The Dissolved "No Escape" Build is considered to be the main aspect of when a survivor enters your terror radius, and it cannot simply escape. With the perks activated in the build, once the survivor enters the radius, it would have no choice but to go with the killers' wishes, as with perks such as dissolution, pallets are automatically destroyed once the survivor fast vaults the pallet leaving less hassle for the killer when going into a chase without his power.

With spirit fury and enduring creating a great connection in the chasing category, the build finishes of with no way out which would make it much harder for the survivors to escape, making this build a great build in the end-game and chasing category aspects.

What The Dissolved "No Escape" Build Excels In:

  • With the trio combination of dissolution, enduring and spirit fury, pallets are at ease with the killer, in other words, once the survivor is in the killer's radius, it would be a dare to mess with the pallets, as it would only get the survivor killed, and therefore considered a powerful combination with the interaction of the objects.
  • With no way out, it is much harder for the survivors to escape, especially powerful at the end game when survivors think it is over, but actually, it would only be the beginning of the game.

Build details & Perks:

  • Spirit Fury: After breaking 4/3/2 Pallets, the next time you are stunned by a Pallet, The Entity will instantly break it.
  • Enduring: Reduces Pallet Stun duration by 40/45/50 %.
  • Dissolution: 3 seconds after injuring a Survivor by any means, Dissolution activates for 12/16/20 seconds: While Dissolution is active, if a Survivor fast vaults over a Pallet while they are inside your Terror Radius, The Entity will break the Pallet at the end of the vault, deactivating Dissolution.
  • No way out: For each Survivor, you hook for the first time, and No Way Out gains 1 Token. Once the Exit Gates have been powered, No Way Out activates: When a Survivor interacts with an Exit Gate Switch, you receive a Loud Noise Notification and The Entity blocks both Exit Gate Switches for 12 seconds and an additional 6/9/12 seconds per Token in your possession, up to a combined maximum of 36/48/60 seconds.

3. The Deadlock Legion

Dead by Daylight gameplay by MSA_Matei

The Deadlock Legion Build is a build allowing you to use the perks as a combo in the build. In other words, it is a build that expertise in the no escape category, which would create a sense of confusion for the survivors, where the main game was easy, however, the hard part is going to come at the end of the game with the perk combination such as no way out and terminus, making  "escape" extremely difficult, with exit gate switches being blocked for a maximum of 60 seconds and not being able to heal yourself, as to being exposed to the broken status effect, with the killer having the chance to easily down a survivor, and therefore finishing a game with an easy sacrifice, a great build to mess around with survivors.

What The Deadlock Legion Build Excels In:

  • The combination of no way out and terminus makes "escape" extremely difficult, with exit gate switches being blocked for a maximum of 60 seconds and not being able to heal yourself, as to being exposed to the broken status effect, with the killer having the chance to easily down a survivor.
  • With deadlock, you will be able to block a generator with the most progression, and then use the perk Jolt to successfully regress that blocked generator without the survivors' intervention.

Build details & Perks:

  • No way out: For each Survivor, you hook for the first time, and No Way Out gains 1 Token. Once the Exit Gates have been powered, No Way Out activates: When a Survivor interacts with an Exit Gate Switch, you receive a Loud Noise Notification and The Entity blocks both Exit Gate Switches for 12 seconds and an additional 6/9/12 seconds per Token in your possession, up to a combined maximum of 36/48/60 seconds.
  • Deadlock: Whenever a Generator is completed, The Entity blocks the Generator with the most progression for 20/25/30 seconds. The Aura of the blocked Generator is revealed to you in white during this time.
  • Terminus: Once the Exit Gates are powered, Terminus activates: All injured, dying, or hooked Survivors suffer from the Broken Status Effect until the Exit Gates are opened. This effect lingers for an additional 20/25/30 seconds after the Exit Gates are open.
  • Jolt: When you put a Survivor into the Dying State with your Basic Attack, all Generators within 32 metres of you instantly explode and start regressing. Applies an immediate 6/7/8 % Progression penalty.

2. The Endured "NOED" Legion Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by Zeb89International

The Endured "NOED" Legion Build is a build that combines its chasing strength and the overall never giving up in the game. One of the perks that are in this build is no one escapes death (NOED), a perk that used to be one of the most powerful in the game, before the buff, where survivors are now able to see the aura of the totem at a specific time and distance, but before the totem was completely incognito and therefore the survivor would not be able to find it, and be left sacrificed by the killer, overall, making this build quite toxic and powerful. which would most likely cause the survivors to disconnect because of its power.

What The Endured "NOED" Legion Build Excels In:

  • No one escapes death (NOED), which is a perk that used to be one of the most powerful in the game; however, now, it is a perk still powerful in terms of exposing survivors and therefore sacrificing them and using them as bait just before escaping.
  • With the combination of spirit fury and enduring, pallets are nothing to you, and if the survivor is to stun you with a pallet during a chase, the stun is reduced by 50% and therefore be able to catch up on the survivor and either injure them or down them.

Build details & Perks:

  • Enduring: Reduces Pallet Stun duration by 40/45/50 %.
  • No one escapes death (NOED): Increase your Movement speed by 2/3/4 %. Survivors suffer from a permanent Exposed Status Effect. Hex: No One Escapes Death remains inactive if no Dull Totems are available. Hex: No One Escapes Death reveals the Aura of its Hex Totem to all Survivors within 4 metres and gradually expands that range to 24 metres over the course of 30 seconds.
  • Spirit Fury: After breaking 4/3/2 Pallets, the next time you are stunned by a Pallet, The Entity will instantly break it.
  • Deadlock: Whenever a Generator is completed, The Entity blocks the Generator with the most progression for 20/25/30 seconds. The Aura of the blocked Generator is revealed to you in white during this time.

1. Thana goes Pop Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by MSA_Matei

Thana goes Pop Build is a fun build to play around with, and at the same time, it is a build that seems the most balanced in a powerful manner. The reason that it is in the number one list is that it has perks that are suited for all situations in the game, this includes slowing down the game and progress of survivors' actions with the perk thanatophobia, regressing generators substantially with the perk pop goes the weasel, revealing the survivors without having to use any effort apart from hooking a survivor

This causes the survivors to slow down their actions with the perk scourge hook: gift of pain, making this very powerful in all scenarios, in this case making it one of the most powerful builds.

What Thana goes Pop Build Excels In:

  • With Thanatophobia and scourge hook: the gift of pain, survivors will have more trouble preparing generators as it would take a very long time to repair, as for a survivor who is affected by both perks, the penalty maximises up to a total of 24% for one survivor. And for all survivors, it would be a total of an insane 108% which is terrifyingly slow.
  • With pop goes the weasel, regressing generators come at ease, and you have the chance to manually pop generators and lose -20% of their progression, and this can be added to the other two perks scourge hook: gift of pain and Thanatophobia.

Build details & Perks:

  • Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain: At the start of the Trial, 4 random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks: The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white. Each time a Survivor is unhooked from a Scourge Hook, the following effects apply: The Survivor suffers from the Haemorrhage and Mangled Status Effects until healed. Upon being healed, the Survivor suffers from a 10/13/16 % Action Speed penalty to Healing and Repairing until they are injured again.
  • Pop goes the weasel: After hooking a Survivor, Pop Goes the Weasel activates for the next 35/40/45 seconds: The next Generator you damage instantly loses -20 % of its current Progression. Regular Generator Regression applies afterwards and Pop Goes the Weasel deactivates.
  • Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage: At the start of the Trial, 4 random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks: The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white. Each time a Survivor is unhooked from a Scourge Hook, the following effects apply: The Auras of all other Survivors are revealed for 5/6/7 seconds.
