The Pig is a killer with both anonymous and mind-gaming abilities, which can cause the survivors to be weakened at the start of the game; however, once they learn how to play the game, it is much easier to play. However, the pig can slow down the progress massively, making it a great killer, wherewith her small-like appearance makes it very hard to be noticed by the survivors.

Nonetheless, let the fog reveal the best Pig Builds:

5. The Toxicity of Unknowing Pig Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by Greyletters

The Toxicity of Unknowing Pig Build is a toxic Pig that wants to put the survivors into misery, making them suffer as long as possible until they are hooked on the hooks, which the other survivors would safely unhook them.

It is a build that contains long-term suffering, such as knock out and Hex: Third Seal, which would cause them to gain more difficulty in the gameplay and make it easier for the killer to hit them or hook them due to the visual disadvantage, making it one of the most toxic Pig builds.

What the Toxicity of Unknowing Pig Build Excels In:

  • Knock out will allow you to knock a survivor out, reducing their field of view and abilities to crawl and recover, giving the killer a chance to put the trap on and do other things before picking up the survivor.
  • The combination of Deerstalker and Knockout is amazing, especially for simultaneous objectives where you require to leave the survivor and then find them with the help of Deerstalker automatically.

Build details & perks:

  • Deerstalker: The Auras of all Survivors in the Dying State within 20/28/36 metres of your location are revealed to you.
  • Knock Out: Putting a Survivor into the Dying State with your Basic Attack blocks their Aura from being revealed to any Survivor who is farther than 32/24/16 metres away from them. For the next 15 seconds, the following effects apply to the dying Survivor: Reduces their Field of View and causes them to be deafened. Suffers from the Blindness  Status Effect. Reduces the Crawling speed by -50 %. Reduces the Recovery speed by -25 %.
  • Hex: Undying: The Auras of Survivors within 2/3/4 metres of any Dull Totem are revealed to you. When another Perk's Hex Totem is cleansed or blessed, its Hex is transferred to the Undying Totem, including any accumulated Tokens, disabling Hex: Undying instead.
  • Hex: The Third Seal: A Hex that hinders the Survivors' Aura-reading abilities. The last 2/3/4 Survivors hit with either your Basic Attack or Special Attack suffer from the Blindness Status Effect.

4. Monstrous Lockdown Pig Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by RedsGamingGears

The Monstrous Lockdown Pig Build is a build that locks down any survivor opportunities when it comes to having a faster sacrifice with the help of Monstrous Shrine or just blocking generators with Dead Man's Switch or Corrupt Intervention, which would then cause the survivors to stay longer in the game, with the killer gaining the advantage and opportunity to kill the survivors faster, making it a very powerful build.

What the Monstrous Lockdown Pig Build Excels In:

  • With the perk Scourge Hook: Monstrous Shine, you will have a greater chance of winning the game, as it can accelerate the sacrifice progress by a maximum of 20%, which is very fast, and therefore it would require the survivors to save faster and leave their objectives early.
  • Dead Man's Switch is a particularly useful perk if the survivors are working together, allowing you to block the generator for 30 seconds, patrol it until it's unblocked and then regress it before the chance of popping.

Build details & perks:

  • Dead Man's Switch: After hooking a Survivor, Dead Man's Switch activates for the next 20/25/30 seconds: Any Survivor that stops repairing a Generator before it is fully repaired causes The Entity to block the Generator until Dead Man's Switch's effect ends. White Aura highlights affected Generators.
  • Corrupt Intervention: At the start of the Trial, the 3 Generators located farthest from you are blocked by The Entity for 80/100/120 seconds. Corrupt Intervention deactivates prematurely once the first Survivor is put into the Dying State.
  • Scourge Hook: Monstrous Shrine: At the start of the Trial, four random Hooks, as well as the Basement Hooks, are changed into Scourge Hooks: The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white. Each time a Survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook, the following effect applies whenever you are farther than 24 metres from the hooked Survivor: Accelerates the Sacrifice Process by 10/15/20 %.
  • Save the best for last: Each time you hit a Survivor other than your Obsession with a Basic Attack, Save the Best for Last gains 1 Token, up to a maximum of 8 Tokens: Gain a stack-able 5 % Cool-down reduction on successful attacks per Token, up to a maximum of 40 %. Each time you hit your Obsession with a Basic Attack, Save the Best for Last loses 4/3/2 Tokens. When the Obsession is sacrificed or killed, you can neither gain nor lose any more Tokens.

3. The Chase Rejection Pig Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by King Wolfe 2

The Chase Rejection Pig Build is a build that creates a huge atmosphere of rejection throughout the whole game for the survivors. For instance, when it comes to chasing, it will be much easier to go on chases, as it will take advantage of pallets to you, allowing you to have a reduced pallet stun with the help of the perk Enduring, and allowing you to break a pallet with the help of Spirit Fury automatically.

Which will, in conclusion, create better chases atmosphere for the Pig, making it harder for the survivors to avoid the killer in chases, making it a great chasing build.

What the Chase Rejection Pig Build Excels In:

  • With the perk Save the best for last, you will have a faster cool-down reduction, which is very useful, especially for the Pig with a small attacking range, allowing you to use this perk to have better chances of attack.
  • The perk Enduring is quite an underrated perk as it will allow you to reduce the duration of any pallet stun, which on the other hand, can save so much time.

Build details & perks:

  • Enduring: Reduces Pallet Stun duration by 40/45/50 %. Enduring has no effect while carrying a Survivor.
  • Corrupt Intervention: At the start of the Trial, the 3 Generators located farthest from you are blocked by The Entity for 80/100/120 seconds. Corrupt Intervention deactivates prematurely once the first Survivor is put into the Dying State.
  • Spirit Fury: After breaking 4/3/2 Pallets, the next time you are stunned by a Pallet, The Entity will instantly break it. You still suffer from the Stun penalty.

2. The Bully Squad Destroyer Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by D3AD Plays

The Bully Squad Destroyer Build is a build which destroys bullies and concentrates on avoiding group power attacks, such as constant pallet dropping, which can be easily avoided and regressed with the help of Enduring, gaining more time, and therefore allowing you to take in more chases and increasing the chance of winning.

Nonetheless, with basic perks, it creates a powerful chemistry for the killer, simultaneously making it a great build for the killer with the deserved number two spot on this list.

What the Bully Squad Destroyer Build Excels In:

  • The perk Enduring is quite an underrated perk as it will allow you to reduce the duration of any pallet stun, which on the other hand, can save so much time.
  • With the perk Save the best for last, you will have a faster cool-down reduction, which is very useful, especially for the Pig with a small attacking range, allowing you to use this perk to have better chances of attack.

Build details & perks:

  • Brutal Strength: Increases the Action speed of breaking Pallets and Breakable Walls and damaging Generators by 10/15/20 %.
  • Enduring: Reduces Pallet Stun duration by 40/45/50 %. Enduring has no effect while carrying a Survivor.
  • Bamboozle: Performing a Vault action is 5/10/15 % faster and calls upon The Entity to block that Vault location for Survivors for 8/12/16 seconds. Only one Vault location may be blocked this way at any given time. Bamboozle does not affect Pallets.

1. The Insanity of Enduring Pig Build

Dead by Daylight gameplay by MSA_Matei

The Insanity of Enduring Pig Build is a build which describes its insanity in many ways, especially with the fact that it contains perks that are omnipotently powerful in terms of universality, with the Pig having the ability to at the same time regress generators automatically, and use perks such as enduring and save the best for last to take attacking and chasing to her advantage.

Nonetheless, powerful perks such as Jolt and Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance make the situation harder for the survivors, with perks that will cause the generators to go insane and therefore make it harder to progress, making it one of the most powerful builds for the Pig.

What the Insanity of Enduring Pig Build Excels In:

  • With the perk Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance is considered one of the most powerful perks in terms of generator regressing, as it will allow you to see the survivors who start repairing the most progressed generator after regressing, therefore allowing you to come back to the generator and gain lots of time in the killer's perspective.
  • The perk Enduring is quite an underrated perk as it will allow you to reduce the duration of any pallet stun, which on the other hand, can save so much time.

Build details & perks:

  • Jolt: When you put a Survivor into the Dying State with your Basic Attack, all Generators within 32 metres of you instantly explode and start regressing. Applies an immediate 6/7/8 % Progression penalty.
  • Enduring: Reduces Pallet Stun duration by 40/45/50 %. Enduring has no effect while carrying a Survivor.
  • Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance: At the start of the Trial, four random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks: The Auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white. Each time a Survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook, the following effects apply: The Generator with the most Progression explodes, instantly losing 9/12/15 % of its Progression and starting to regress. Survivors repairing that Generator will scream but not reveal their location.
