[Top 5] FF14 Best Reaper Food (And How To Get Them)
These are my Takoyaki, don't touch it!

Are you new to Reaper? Do you want to know what meals are best for your Reaper?

Reaper shares the same gear with Dragoon; however, their primary status for BiS (Best in Slots) is very different. If you want to play Reaper, you may want to have more Determination materia. With that being said, this is the best food currently for your Reaper! I will discuss the cheapest alternative you can get until the best food for your BiS!

5. Coconut Cod Chowder (iLevel 545)

A Near Eastern soup, brimming with shallows cod simmered in silky coconut milk.

This is the cheaper option for your BiS; with Determination being the primary status of Reaper, you might want to ensure that you got that covered. If you are raiding a lower-level dungeon, I suggest you bring this food instead. It is very cheap on almost every server’s Market Board. This food is craftable, but I find it cheaper to buy the food instead of its ingredients.

The NQ status effects:

  • Determination +8% (Max 61)
  • Vitality +8% (Max 66)
  • Critical Hit +8% (Max 37)

The HQ status effects:

  • Determination +10% (Max 76)
  • Vitality +10% (Max 82)
  • Critical Hit +10% (Max 46)

4. Beef Stroganoff (iLevel 580)

Choice cuts of meat are simmered in a savory sauce to create this Garlean specialty, the ideal supplement to one's squat regime.

This may be the right choice for your Reaper if you prefer a faster GCD rotation. With the main status giving you Skill Speed, you can get closer to a more rapid rotation experience. However, this is not what many would often recommend for BiS. I say this is a black horse. You can get this food from the Market Board or by Crafting.

The NQ status effects:

  • Skill Speed +8% (Max 72)
  • Vitality +8% (Max 74)
  • Direct Hit Rate +8% (Max 43)

The HQ status effects:

  • Skill Speed +10% (Max 90)
  • Vitality +10% (Max 93)
  • Direct Hit Rate +10% (Max 54)

3. Archon Burger (iLevel 580)

Concocted by the staff at the Last Stand, this sandwich is as nutritionally sound as it is delicious.

The two main statuses need to be covered by Reaper here. To boost your damage, you may want to have Archon Burger. But the main status for Reaper is Determination, so you may want to have food with Determination as the priority status. This food can be crafted/bought from the Market Board.

The NQ status effects:

  • Direct Hit Rate +8% (Max 72)
  • Vitality +8% (Max 74)
  • Determination +8% (Max 43)

The HQ status effects:

  • Direct Hit Rate +10% (Max 90)
  • Vitality +10% (Max 93)
  • Determination +10% (Max 54)

2. Pumpkin Ratatouille (iLevel 580)

This colorful dish consists of a variety of vegetables, sautéed in perilla oil and then simmered to enrich their combined flavor.

This one is for your GCD BiS, but leaning towards skill speed. There are three recommended BiS currently for Reaper, and this is the only food for Skill Speed people would recommend! You can get this food from the Market Board or Craft them yourself! If you are that kind of person, then you might want to buy this food instead.

The NQ status effects:

  • Critical Hit +8% (Max 72)
  • Vitality +8% (Max 74)
  • Skill Speed +8% (Max 43)

The HQ status effects:

  • Critical Hit +10% (Max 90)
  • Vitality +10% (Max 93)
  • Skill Speed +10% (Max 54)

1. Pumpkin Potage (iLevel 580)

A creamy soup that highlights the rich and nutty flavor of the giant pumpkin.

Last but not least, this is the current best food for Reaper and many other classes. With Determination being the main status it boosts, your Reaper will surely hit hard. Depending on your Gear BiS, this may be the food that is recommended to you! You can always craft the food or buy it from the Market Board.

The NQ status effects:

  • Determination +8% (Max 72)
  • Vitality +8% (Max 74)
  • Critical Hit +8% (Max 43)

The HQ status effects:

  • Determination +10% (Max 90)
  • Vitality +10% (Max 93)
  • Critical Hit +10% (Max 54)

Now, these are the best food for Reaper. Which one do you prefer? I prefer a higher skill speed so I might go with pumpkin Ratatouille. But most will go with Pumpkin Potage because it is what is recommended for the most often used BiS.
