Welcome to another meal benefit class 101! This time for Endwalker!
In this article, I will guide you to all 580 iLevel meals. The meals are great to compensate for the status you lack, so feel free to pick meals that go hand in hand with your materia. Do note, Tenacity and Piety status is only for Tanks and Healers. If you are wondering why the status percentage is lower than the previous, everything got scaled down. Let's get into this, shall we?
10. Scallop Curry (iLevel 580)
Premium scallops are simmered with a rich blend of spices to create this savory dish.
The first stop is tank food. If you want to last longer in battle, you would probably like this food. There is nothing wrong with wanting more health and defense, but I would prefer to have more attacks. As they said, DPS is the best defense to mitigate future damage.
NQ Status:
- Determination +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Tenacity +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Determination +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Tenacity +10% (Max 54)
9. Scallop Salad (iLevel 580)
A lush salad topped with exquisite scallops and lightly dressed with perilla oil.
Another one for tanks. This food has higher Tenacity, which means you get more boost in defense. I think bringing this meal is a good idea when you are testing out the dungeon and would like to last as long as you can to learn as many mechanics as possible. But once you are going for the 'complete mode,' a DPS meal will be better off.
NQ Status:
- Tenacity +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Determination +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Tenacity +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Determination +10% (Max 54)
8. Thavnairian Chai (iLevel 580)
This milky Near Eastern tea is infused with cinnamon of peerless quality for a flavorsome kick.
Ah, the Chai we drink in [redacted] before [redacted]. I promise myself this guide will be spoiler-free. It is most likely a meal for the magical job when it comes to drinks. This meal is recommended for healers or magic DPS for more DPS.
NQ Status:
- Critical Hit +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Spell Speed +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Critical Hit +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Spell Speed +10% (Max 54)
7. Sykon Cookie (iLevel 580)
A delicious treat covered in sykon jam and accented with a dash of cinnamon.
Sykon Cookies are indeed another food for the magic class. These cookies will give you a good deal of spell speed. The cookies may prove helpful for Black Mages if your status is not reaching the spell speed you want.
NQ Status:
- Spell Speed +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Direct Hit Rate +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Spell Speed +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Direct Hit Rate +10% (Max 54)
6. Peach Tart (iLevel 580)
A round pastry filled with sweet peaches and fragrant spices.
One thing I notice, from the selection of meals healers and magical DPS can get is; if they are not in some drink, then it will be sweet food like cookies, pies, and tarts, you name it. Our healers and magic DPS will get diabetes after raiding for ten years. This one is healer food, which has Piety that helps MP regeneration. Yes, only healer.
NQ Status:
- Spell speed +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Piety +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Spell speed +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Piety +10% (Max 54)
5. Peach Juice (iLevel 580)
A generous serving of juice, freshly squeezed from sweet peaches.
This one is for healers too. A higher rate of Piety can help healers regenerate their MP faster. I would suggest that White Mages have meals with Piety buff on them, especially on lower level trials/raids, just because they have the most deficient MP regeneration.
NQ Status:
- Piety +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Determination +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Piety +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Determination +10% (Max 54)
4. Pumpkin Potage (iLevel 580)
A creamy soup that highlights the rich and nutty flavor of the giant pumpkin.
This Pumpkin Potage can be for all DPS, but a magical DPS will most likely use it. The food is a DPS booster for DPS, but if tanks want to use it too, it's okay. Not recommended, but okay. Only use this when you need more skill/spell speed.
NQ Status:
- Determination +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Critical Hit +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Determination +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Critical Hit +10% (Max 54)
3. Pumpkin Ratatouille (iLevel 580)
This colorful dish consists of a variety of vegetables, sautéed in perilla oil and then simmered to enrich their combined flavor.
A pumpkin ratatouille because why not. This one is undoubtedly for DPS/Tanks. If you want to hit hard and need that little push in skill speed.
NQ Status:
- Critical Hit +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Skill Speed +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Critical Hit +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Skill Speed +10% (Max 54)
2. Beef Stroganoff (iLevel 580)
Choice cuts of meat are simmered in a savory sauce to create this Garlean specialty, the ideal supplement to one's squat regime.
This meal has a higher skill speed to compensate. If you require a higher skill speed, you might want to go with this one.
NQ Status:
- Skill Speed +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Direct Hit Rate +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Skill Speed +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Direct Hit Rate +10% (Max 54)
1. Archon Burger (iLevel 580)
Concocted by the staff at the Last Stand, this sandwich is as nutritionally sound as it is delicious.
This burger reminds us of our last supper (not really) with [redacted]. No wonder it is so popular and looking so yum, especially when [redacted] is the one who eats it. Maybe it's a Krabby patty in disguise. The meal can be effective for DPS as well as tanks.
NQ Status:
- Direct Hit Rate +8% (Max 72)
- Vitality +8% (Max 74)
- Determination +8% (Max 43)
HQ Status:
- Direct Hit Rate +10% (Max 90)
- Vitality +10% (Max 93)
- Determination +10% (Max 54)
These foods can be expensive for the time being, but you can learn to make them yourself by buying the Master Culinarian book IX and specialists in Culinarian will likely help you. If you are not raiding the highest dungeon possible, you should adjust your meal buff because it could cost you a lot. So for me, if I'm doing Stormblood raid and below, I would use the Shadowbringer food. It is cheaper to buy in Market Board and more accessible to make yourself.
