Genshin Impact Best Weapons For Each Character

1. Amber

Best Weapon: Elegy for the End. Amber is best played as a support character, so Elegy’s effect that gives your whole team 100 EM and a 20% attack bonus at R1 synergizes perfectly with that role. Her ability to hold Elegy gives her a more useful role than justPyro application and a taunt.

2nd Best Weapon: The First Great Magic. If you really want to play Amber as a DPS, then The First Great Magic’s crit damage substat and boost to Charged Attack damage will be the best option for Amber’s damage output.

2. Kaeya

Best Weapon: Mistsplitter Reforged. Mistplitter is the weapon that will net the highest DPS from Kaeya thanks to its high base attack, crit damage substat, and Elemental damage bonus in its passive. Even though Kaeya can’t maximize the Elemental damage bonus’s stacks, this is still his best weapon.

2nd Best Weapon: Primordial Jade Cutter. Jade Cutter’s high crit rate substat and the attack bonus provided by its passive are both useful for Kaeya. Just be careful not to overcap on crit rate if you’re using this alongside the Blizzard Strayer set.

3. Lisa

Best Weapon: Kagura’s Verity. The low cooldown on Lisa’s skill makes it easy for her to maximize Kagura’s Verity’s passive to gain a 12% Elemental damage bonus in addition to the 12% Elemental Skill damage bonus that the passive provides by default. She also appreciates the crit damage substat.

2nd Best Weapon: Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds. While not as strong as Kagura’s Verity, Lost Prayers provides a nice crit rate substat as well as a stacking Elemental damage bonus. You’ll get more out of this weapon if you play Lisa as an on-fielder, otherwise you won’t be able to stack the damage bonus.

4. Barbara

Best Weapon: Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. Thrilling Tales is great for Barbara because it has an HP substat and it provides a massive attack bonus to the next character switched in after her. As a healer, this weapon on her helps to maximize overall team damage.

2nd Best Weapon: Prototype Amber. This weapon boasts an HP substat, as well as additional teamwide healing and additional energy for Barbara. Your team damage will be lower than if you use Thrilling Tales, but this weapon still has useful stats and effects for Barbara’s kit.

5. Razor

Best Weapon: Song of Broken Pines. Razor makes good use out of this weapon’s Physical damage substat, and he can very easily proc the teamwide attack speed increase and attack buff provided by its passive.

2nd Best Weapon: Beacon of the Reed Sea. Razor can make good use of this weapon thanks to its crit rate substat and an easy to activate 20% attack bonus.

6. Xiangling

Best Weapon: Engulfing Lightning. Xiangling needs to build a lot of Energy Recharge to cover her high Burst cost, so this weapon synergizes quite nicely with her. It has an ER substat plus an attack bonus based on 28% of her ER.

2nd Best Weapon: Staff of the Scarlet Sands. This weapon provides a very high crit rate substat plus an attack bonus based on the wearer’s Elemental Mastery. This is a great weapon if you’re building a lot of EM on Xiangling, but keep in mind that you’ll need to get a lot of ER from her artifacts.

7. Beidou

Best Weapon: Serpent Spine. Serpent Spine’s crit rate substat and stacking damage percent bonus are great for Beidou no matter what team you play her in.

2nd Best Weapon: Wolf’s Gravestone. This weapon provides high base attack plus additional attack percent through its substat and passive. The teamwide attack boost is inconsistent because it requires enemies below 30% HP.

8. Xingqiu

Best Weapon: Primordial Jade Cutter. Jade Cutter’s high crit rate substat and attack bonus based on HP are both very nice effects to have on Xingqiu. Additionally, this weapon provides an extra 20% HP, which will slightly increase the healing from Xingqiu’s Rain Swords.

2nd Best Weapon: Sacrificial Sword. At high refinements, this weapon consistently allows Xingqiu to use his Elemental Skill twice. Along with its Energy Recharge substat, this weapon is a great choice for him that significantly reduces the ER that he would need to build on his artifacts.

9. Ningguang

Best Weapon: Memory of Dust. Memory of Dust provides the holder with a lot of attack, and this attack bonus is further increased if the holder is shielded. You’ll ideally want to run a shielder like Zhongli alongside Ningguang to activate Geo Resonance, so this weapon is a very strong choice.

2nd Best Weapon: Skyward Atlas. Skyward Atlas is also a weapon that provides a lot of attack. Although weaker than Memory of Dust for Ningguang it’s still a strong option, especially if you have it from the standard banner and don’t want to pull on a limited banner for a weapon as niche as Memory of Dust.

10. Fischl

Best Weapon: Polar Star. Polar Star has solid base attack and a crit rate substat, which are great for most DPS characters. It additionally provides an unconditional bonus to Skill and Burst damage, which is amazing for Fischl because almost all of her damage comes from her Skill. On top of that, it also provides a stacking attack boost.

2nd Best Weapon: Aqua Simulacra. Aqua Simulacra has a low base attack, but it makes up for that with a massive crit damage substat and an easy to activate damage percent passive. Although it’s outperformed by Polar Star, this is still an amazing weapon for Fischl.

11. Bennett

Best Weapon: Mistsplitter Reforged. To maximize Bennett’s attack buff, you’ll want to give him a max base attack weapon. Mistsplitter is one of two max base attack swords, and the crit damage substat and passive are useful to maximize Bennett’s personal damage.

2nd Best Weapon: Aquila Favonia. Aquila is the other max base attack sword, and is a great option for Bennett. The Physical damage substat is useless and the passive is situational, but Bennett’s main purpose is as a buffer and Aquila is great for that job.

12. Noelle

Best Weapon: Redhorn Stonethresher. Redhorn is perfect for Noelle. Her damage scales on her defense, and Redhorn gives a defense boost, Normal and Charged attack damage bonus based on defense, and a huge crit damage substat.

2nd Best Weapon: Serpent Spine. Serpent Spine is very nice on Noelle because it gives a damage percent boost rather than attack, and the crit rate substat is useful. You’ll lose stacks of the damage percent buff if you take damage, but Noelle can shield herself so this isn’t a great concern for her.

13. Chongyun

Best Weapon: Wolf’s Gravestone. Wolf’s Gravestone is the best weapon for Chongyun because it gives him a lot of attack while also offering a situational attack buff for the rest of the team.

2nd Best Weapon: Serpent Spine. Wolf’s Gravestone is the best weapon for overall team damage. But if you’re looking to maximize Chongyun’s personal damage, then Serpent Spine is the best option.

14. Sucrose

Best Weapon: A Thousand Floating Dreams. A Thousand Floating Dreams has the highest Elemental Mastery substat among catalysts, which is great for a Swirl character like Sucrose. It can also provide her additional EM or damage bonus depending on the Elements of her party members while also providing a teamwide 40 EM buff.

2nd Best Weapon: Sacrificial Fragments. This weapon is a great choice for Sucrose because it offers an EM substat and allows for multiple uses of her Skill, which reduces her Energy Recharge requirements and enables more consistent grouping.

15. Jean

Best Weapon: Freedom Sworn. Freedom Sworn is a great support weapon for a healer like Jean - it provides a teamwide attack buff and a Normal, Charged, and Plunging attack bonus. It has a solid base attack, which is good because Jean’s healing scales off of her attack. Finally, the EM substat isn’t wasted on her because as an Anemo character she’ll be triggering Swirls.

2nd Best Weapon: Amenoma Kageuchi. Amenoma is a very nice weapon for Jean because it provides a lot of attack as well as additional energy, lowering the ER requirements she’ll need to get from her artifacts.

16. Diluc

Best Weapon: Beacon of the Reed Sea. This weapon is very nice for Diluc because he appreciates the crit rate substat and solid base attack, as well as the easy to activate 20% attack on using his Skill from the weapon’s passive. The weapon can provide an additional 20% attack when Diluc takes damage. This is only situationally useful, but does synergize with his C2.

2nd Best Weapon: Redhorn Stonethresher. This weapon is a solid option for Diluc as a crit damage stat stick. The passive is mostly useless on him if you’re using him in a Xianyun team, but it provides a huge 88.2% crit damage substat. The base attack is low, however this can be remedied by running Diluc with Bennett.

17. Qiqi

Best Weapon: Aquila Favonia. Aquila is Qiqi’s best weapon for her own personal damage, and is best used if you’re using her as an on-field driver. This is best paired with the Ocean-Hued Clam artifact set.

2nd Best Weapon: Summit Shaper. Qiqi’s healing scales off of her attack stat, so Summit Shaper’s good base attack and attack substat both increase her healing output as well as her damage. The passive provides additional attack. This attack bonus can be increased if she is shielded, but running a healer and a shielder can be redundant in a lot of teams.

18. Mona

Best Weapon: Skyward Atlas. Skyward Atlas is the best weapon for Mona’s damage output by providing a lot of attack and an Elemental damage bonus. The passive provides a 50% chance to deal additional damage on Normal attacks, but you likely won’t be Normal attacking on Mona very often. The main value of this weapon comes from the high base attack, attack substat, and damage bonus.

2nd Best Weapon: The Widsith. The Widsith is an amazing choice for Mona by providing a crit damage substat and one of three random buffs (EM, attack, or Elemental damage). The EM buff is the least useful of the three, but the other 2 buffs are always good.

19. Keqing

Best Weapon: Mistsplitter Reforged. Mistsplitter is the best option for Keqing. She appreciates the high base attack and crit damage substat, and she can easily activate all three stacks of its passive because she is able to infuse her Normal attacks with Electro.

2nd Best Weapon: Primordial Jade Cutter. Jade Cutter is a nice option for Keqing because it provides a high crit rate substat. The attack bonus from its passive helps to compensate for its low base attack.

20. Venti

Best Weapon: Elegy for the End. Elegy is the perfect weapon for Venti and synergizes nicely with his primary role of Viridescent Venerer and crowd control support. The Energy Recharge substat reduces his ER requirements from artifacts, and the weapon’s passive provides additional support to the team by providing teamwide buffs to EM and attack.

2nd Best Weapon: The Stringless. Stringless is a nice alternative because at R5, it provides a 48% damage bonus to Skill and Burst damage, and the vast majority of Venti’s damage comes from his Burst. It also has a useful EM substat, which helps to increase his Swirl damage.

21. Klee

Best Weapon: Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds. As a DPS character, Klee appreciates this catalyst’s solid base attack and crit rate substat as well as the stacking Elemental damage bonus passive. This weapon is great on Klee whether you play her in Vaporize or mono Pyro teams.

2nd Best Weapon: Skyward Atlas. Although it doesn’t provide any crit stats, Skyward Atlas is still a solid weapon because it provides a lot of attack plus an unconditional Elemental damage bonus.

22. Diona

Best Weapon: Sacrificial Bow. This bow is nice for Diona because it allows for very high uptime on her shield thanks to its passive. Diona makes for a good Cryo battery, and the ER substat on this weapon helps her to do that job better as well as allowing her to get her Burst back more easily.

2nd Best Weapon: Favonius Warbow. Favonius Warbow doesn’t allow for the same uptime on her shield, but it does provide better overall energy support for the rest of the team.

23. Xinyan

Best Weapon: Redhorn Stonethresher. Redhorn is the best weapon for Xinyan because it provides a high crit damage substat, which is great for her damage. Its passive also provides a defense bonus, which is nice for Xinyan because the shield created by her Skill scales off of her defense.

2nd Best Weapon: Serpent Spine. Serpent Spine is a pretty universally useful DPS claymore and this is no exception for Xinyan. The crit rate substat and stacking damage bonus passive are both great for maximizing her damage.

24. Tartaglia

Best Weapon: Polar Star. As Tartaglia’s signature weapon, it’s no surprise that it synergizes perfectly with his kit. As a DPS character, the crit rate substat is great, he really appreciates the Skill and Burst damage bonus that it provides, and his kit allows him to fully stack the attack bonus that the passive provides.

2nd Best Weapon: Aqua Simulacra. Despite the low base attack, Aqua Simulacra is a very strong weapon for Tartaglia thanks to its high crit damage substat and an easy to activate damage bonus in its passive.

25. Zhongli

Best Weapon: Favonius Lance. Zhongli’s primary role is as a shielder support, so the Favonius Lance is great to provide energy support to the rest of the team in addition to his strong shields.

2nd Best Weapon: Black Tassel. If you just want to maximize Zhongli’s shields, then Black Tassel is the weapon to use because it’s the polearm with the highest HP substat.

26. Albedo

Best Weapon: Uraku Misugiri. Uraku Misugiri allows Albedo to maximize his off-field damage. The low base attack doesn’t matter because his damage scales on defense, and it provides a high crit damage substat. Almost all of Albedo’s damage comes from his Skill, so this weapon’s passive providing a defense bonus and a Skill damage bonus are perfect for his kit.

2nd Best Weapon: Cinnabar Spindle. Cinnabar Spindle was tailor made for Albedo. It has a massive defense substat, and additionally increases the holder’s Skill damage by 80% of their defense at R5.

27. Ganyu

Best Weapon: Hunter’s Path. Ganyu particularly excels in Melt teams, so Hunter’s Path is great for her because it rewards building EM by granting a damage bonus to Charged attacks based on Elemental Mastery. The crit rate substat and Elemental damage bonus are also both very beneficial to her damage output.

2nd Best Weapon: The First Great Magic. As a Charged attack focused DPS, The First Great Magic’s Charged attack damage bonus and crit damage substat are both very useful to Ganyu. This weapon is best used in a team with other Cryo characters (like Freeze) in order to gain more stacks of the attack bonus from its passive.

28. Xiao

Best Weapon: Primordial Jade-Winged Spear. This is Xiao’s signature weapon, and it’s great for him. It offers high base attack and a crit rate substat, along with an easy to activate passive that provides more attack as well as a damage bonus.

2nd Best Weapon: Staff of Homa. Staff of Homa is primarily a crit damage stat stick, but it still performs very well on Xiao. It provides an attack bonus based on max HP and features good base attack and crit damage. Even though you likely won’t maximize its passive on Xiao, it still performs very well.

29. Hu Tao

Best Weapon: Staff of Homa. Staff of Homa is Hu Tao’s signature weapon. The crit damage substat is good on any DPS character, and she is fully able to utilize its passive that increases the holder’s attack based on their max HP.

2nd Best Weapon: Staff of the Scarlet Sands. Hu Tao is best played in Vaporize teams, so you’ll want to build EM on her. Because of this, Staff of the Scarlet Sands is a very competitive weapon that provides bonus attack based on the holder’s EM in addition to featuring a high crit rate substat.

30. Rosaria

Best Weapon: Staff of Homa. As a DPS character, Rosaria can make use of the crit damage and attack that Staff of Homa provides, even though she isn’t able to fully take advantage of its passive.

2nd Best Weapon: Primordial Jade-Winged Spear. This weapon’s high base attack and crit rate substat plus the additional attack that can be gained from its passive are very good for Rosaria, even though she likely won’t spend enough time on-field to maximize its passive’s stacks.

31. Yanfei

Best Weapon: Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds. Yanfei appreciates this catalyst’s solid base attack and crit rate substat as well as the stacking Elemental damage bonus passive.

2nd Best Weapon: Skyward Atlas. Although it doesn’t provide any crit stats, Skyward Atlas is still a solid weapon because it provides a lot of attack plus an unconditional Elemental damage bonus.

32. Eula

Best Weapon: Song of Broken Pines. Song of Broken Pines is Eula’s signature weapon, and she makes good use out of this weapon’s Physical damage substat. She can very easily proc the teamwide attack speed increase and attack buff provided by its passive, which benefits both herself and the rest of the team.

2nd Best Weapon: Beacon of the Reed Sea. Eula can make good use of this weapon thanks to its crit rate substat and an easy to activate 20% attack bonus.

33. Kaedehara Kazuha

Best Weapon: Freedom Sworn. Freedom Sworn is a great support weapon for Kazuha - it provides a teamwide attack buff and a Normal, Charged, and Plunging attack bonus. It also has a very high Elemental Mastery substat, which is great for Kazuha because he wants to stack EM to maximize the Elemental damage bonus that he can give to the team.

2nd Best Weapon: Xiphos’ Moonlight. Kazuha has very high Energy Recharge requirements. Xiphos’ Moonlight has an EM substat and provides an ER bonus based on the holder’s EM. This is perfect for Kazuha, particularly at high refinements, because he wants to stack his EM as high as possible anyway.

34. Kamisato Ayaka

Best Weapon: Mistsplitter Reforged. Mistsplitter is Ayaka’s signature weapon and synergizes with her kit. It boasts high base attack and a crit damage substat, and she is able to easily stack the Elemental damage bonus from its passive.

2nd Best Weapon: Haran Geppaku Futsu. Ayaka can make good use of this weapon’s unconditional Elemental damage bonus and Normal attack damage bonus. The weapon also has good base attack and a crit rate substat. Just be careful that you don’t overcap on crit rate if you’re running Ayaka on a Freeze team with the Blizzard Strayer artifact set.

35. Sayu

Best Weapon: Favonius Greatsword. Sayu’s main role is as a Burst support character, and she has high ER requirements. Favonius Greatsword makes it much easier to meet these requirements while also providing Energy support for the rest of the team.

2nd Best Weapon: Makhaira Aquamarine. If you’re able to meet Sayu’s ER requirements through artifacts alone, Makhaira Aquamarine is a nice option that allows you to build more EM on her. The weapon’s passive provides an attack bonus Sayu based on her EM, plus a portion of this attack bonus to the rest of the team. Building EM will increase Sayu’s Swirl damage while also providing the team with an attack buff.

36. Yoimiya

Best Weapon: Thundering Pulse. This is Yoimiya’s signature weapon, and it provides a lot of attack, a crit damage substat, and a Normal attack bonus that is very easy for Yoimiya to maximize.

2nd Best Weapon: Aqua Simulacra. Aqua Simulacra is great for Yoimiya thanks to its huge crit damage substat, but keep in mind that you’ll need to keep close to the enemy to make use of its passive.

37. Kujo Sara

Best Weapon: Elegy for the End. Sara is a buffer for Electro damage, so Elegy for the End is a great weapon to maximize her support capabilities.

2nd Best Weapon: Skyward Harp. Sara’s buffs are based on her base attack, so Skyward Harp is a very good choice for her because it is the only bow with 674 base attack.

38. Raiden Shogun

Best Weapon: Engulfing Lightning. Raiden is designed to be a Burst DPS, and her signature weapon is perfect for her in that role. It converts Energy Recharge to attack while providing an ER substat, which synergizes nicely with her Burst reliant playstyle.

2nd Best Weapon: Staff of Homa. As a DPS character, Raiden can make use of the crit damage and attack that Staff of Homa provides, even though she isn’t able to fully take advantage of its passive.

39. Sangonomiya Kokomi

Best Weapon: Thrilling Tale of Dragon Slayers. Thrilling Tales is great for Kokomi because it has an HP substat and it provides a massive attack bonus to the next character switched in after her. If you’re playing her primarily as an off-field support unit, this weapon on her helps to maximize overall team damage.

2nd Best Weapon: Everlasting Moonglow. This is Kokomi’s signature weapon and it’s the best option if you want to maximize her personal damage as an on-field driver because it increases Normal attack damage based on her max HP. It also provides a small boost to Healing Bonus and a little additional energy.

40. Thoma

Best Weapon: Kitain Cross Spear. This is the best weapon for Thoma if you’re using him as a Burgeon trigger. It provides an EM substat, which is great for increasing Burgeon damage. Thoma is a Burst reliant character, so the extra energy that the weapon provides is also quite useful.

2nd Best Weapon: Favonius Lance. Favonius Lance is a more generic support option, but one that is useful on many teams. Thoma has very high ER requirements, so this weapon is a great choice if you can’t get enough ER from artifacts alone and has the added benefit of helping other energy hungry characters on the team.

41. Gorou

Best Weapon: Favonius Warbow. Favonius Warbow is Gorou’s best weapon because he’s an energy hungry character, and this weapon makes it very easy for him to get his Burst back up. Additionally, he’s often run with an energy hungry on-field DPS like Itto, who also greatly appreciates the additional energy that the Favonius weapons provide to the whole team.

2nd Best Weapon: Elegy for the End. Elegy has great buffs, but they’re not the best buffs for the mono Geo teams that Gorou is designed for. He makes good use of the ER substat, but the teamwide EM bonus is mostly useless. The attack bonus is nice, but Geo teams with Itto or Noelle make better use of defense buffs.

42. Arataki Itto

Best Weapon: Redhorn Stonethresher. Redhorn is Itto’s signature weapon. It offers a massive crit damage substat and because his damage scales on his defense, the low base attack is not an issue. It’s passive also offers additional defense and a Normal and Charged attack bonus based on defense, which synergizes with his Charged attack focused playstyle.

2nd Best Weapon: Serpent Spine. Serpent Spine is great for Itto because it offers a crit rate substat and a strong, stacking damage bonus. It’s particularly good that the weapon’s bonus is a damage percent bonus rather than attack, because his damage scales on his defense.

43. Yun Jin

Best Weapon: Favonius Lance. Like many other Burst dependent support characters, Yun Jin makes great use of the Favonius Lance to meet her own ER needs and to provide additional energy support to the rest of the team.

2nd Best Weapon: Engulfing Lightning. If all you’re looking for is the most ER possible, then Engulfing Lightning will give you that. It provides the most ER of any polearm, but Yun Jin doesn’t make full use of its passive.

44. Shenhe

Best Weapon: Calamity Queller. Shenhe’s buffs are based on her own attack, so Calamity Queller’s extremely high base attack plus an attack substat make it the best option for maximizing team damage. Furthermore, its passive provides an easily stackable buff that increases her attack even more.

2nd Best Weapon: Favonius Lance. Shenhe is a very energy hungry character, so Favonius Lance is a very nice alternative to help her meet her energy needs. She also tends to be played in teams with other energy hungry characters like Ayaka and Kazuha, who also appreciate the extra energy that this weapon gives the rest of the team.

45. Yae Miko

Best Weapon: Kagura’s Verity. Yae Miko’s Skill is her primary damage source, so Kagura’s Verity’s stacking Skill damage buff plus an Elemental damage bonus are ideal for maximizing her damage. Like any DPS character, she also greatly appreciates the crit damage substat.

2nd Best Weapon: The Widsith. If you don’t have Kagura’s Verity, The Widsith is a great alternative. It has a crit damage substat, and Yae Miko can make use of all three of the random buffs that its passive can give.

46. Kamisato Ayato

Best Weapon: Haran Geppaku Futsu. Ayato is an on-field DPS, so the crit rate substat and unconditional Elemental damage bonus are great. The majority of his damage comes from his enhanced Normal attacks enabled by his Skill, so the weapon’s passive effect providing a damage bonus to Normal attacks is perfect for him.

2nd Best Weapon: Primordial Jade Cutter. Jade Cutter’s crit rate substat and unconditional attack bonus in its passive are very nice for Ayato. Additionally, the 20% HP bonus isn’t wasted on him because his enhanced Normal attacks deal extra damage based on his max HP.

47. Yelan

Best Weapon: Aqua Simulacra. Aqua Simulacra is Yelan’s signature weapon and provides her everything that she needs as an off-field DPS whose damage scales on HP. It gives her a high crit damage substat, an easy to activate damage bonus that works when she’s off–field, and additional HP.

2nd Best Weapon: Elegy for the End. Yelan has very high ER requirements, so Elegy’s ER substat is nice for her. The teamwide EM and attack buffs that this weapon provides aren’t particularly good for her personally, but they are amazing for maximizing overall team damage.

48. Kuki Shinobu

Best Weapon: Freedom Sworn. Kuki’s primary roles are as a healer and Hyperbloom trigger, so Freedom Sworn is great for enhancing her performance because it provides a high EM substat and strong teamwide buffs.

2nd Best Weapon: Key of Khaj-Nisut. This weapon’s HP substat will increase Kuki’s healing output while providing an EM buff to the whole team. This weapon is overall weaker on Kuki than Freedom Sworn in Hyperbloom teams, but it’s still a strong support option.

49. Shikanoin Heizou

Best Weapon: Tulaytullah's Remembrance. This is the best weapon for Heizou as an on-field DPS. It provides high base attack, a crit damage substat, increased Normal attack speed, and increased Normal attack damage.

2nd Best Weapon: Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds. Lost Prayer is a very strong alternative for Heizou if you give him enough field time to make full use of its passive. It will be weaker if you are running him in a quick swap team.

50. Collei

Best Weapon: Elegy for the End. In terms of overall team damage, the buffs that Elegy provides will almost always be the best weapon because Dendro teams benefit greatly from EM buffs.

2nd Best Weapon: Polar Star. If you’re looking to maximize Collei’s personal damage, Polar Star is the best weapon for her, although your overall team damage will be lower.

51. Tighnari

Best Weapon: Hunter’s Path. Tighnari is an on-field DPS character, so this weapon’s crit rate substat and unconditional Elemental damage bonus are both great for him. This weapon’s passive additionally gives a damage bonus to Charged attacks based on the holder’s EM. Tighnari is primarily played in Spread teams, so the EM built to increase the damage from reactions will also contribute to the weapon’s damage bonus.

2nd Best Weapon: Aqua Simulacra. Once again, Aqua Simulacra is a great general DPS bow. The crit damage substat is great for Tighnari, and the damage bonus from its passive is quite nice as well as long as you remember to stay close enough to the enemies.

52. Dori

Best Weapon: Favonius Greatsword. Dori’s niche is providing energy support to your on-field character, so the Favonius Greatsword allows her to double down on this and provide additional energy support to the rest of the team.

2nd Best Weapon: Sacrificial Greatsword. Dori has pretty high ER requirements, so Sacrificial Greatsword can be a nice option to help her get her Burst back more consistently if the rest of your team can meet their ER requirements without Favonius support.

53. Candace

Best Weapon: Staff of Homa. Staff of Homa makes for a nice crit damage stat stick while also providing a small attack boost. Even though she can’t make full use of its passive, it’s still her best option for her damage output.

2nd Best Weapon: Favonius Lance. If you want to play Candace in a more supportive role, Favonius Lance is a great universal support weapon.

54. Cyno

Best Weapon: Staff of the Scarlet Sands. Cyno is best played in Hyperbloom, Quickbloom, or Aggravate teams, so you’ll want to build him with a lot of EM. Staff of the Scarlet Sands’ passive effect granting a bonus to attack based on the holder’s EM is great for him. Additionally, the high crit rate substat is great for his role as an on-field DPS.

2nd Best Weapon: Ballad of the Fjords. Ballad of the Fjords is a great alternative for Cyno. It has a crit rate substat and an easy to activate passive in Hyperbloom and Quickbloom teams. As long as there are 3 different Elemental types in your party, the weapon provides an EM bonus, and Hyperbloom and Quickbloom require at least 1 each of Electro, Dendro, and Hydro.

55. Nilou

Best Weapon: Key of Khaj-Nisut. Nilou’s niche is as a support character for Bloom teams, and the strength of her supportive abilities scale on her max HP. Key of Khaj-Nisut gives the holder a high HP substat, as well as an additional 20% HP in its passive. This weapon can also give a teamwide EM buff, increasing the Bloom damage of your entire team and doubling down on her support capabilities.

2nd Best Weapon: The Dockhand’s Assistant. This weapon is the only other sword with an HP substat. Because HP is by far Nilou’s most important stat, this weapon is a solid option for her.

56. Nahida

Best Weapon: A Thousand Floating Dreams. Nahida’s signature weapon provides her with a huge EM substat plus additional EM and Elemental damage bonus depending on the other Elements in the party. It also provides the entire team with an EM buff, which is very beneficial for maximizing the damage of Dendro teams.

2nd Best Weapon: Kagura’s Verity. Even though Nahida scales better with EM than with crit, Kagura’s Verity’s crit damage substat is still good on her. Nahida’s damage comes from her Skill, so this weapon’s passive increasing Skill damage works very well with her kit.

57. Layla

Best Weapon: Key of Kjah-Nisut. Layla’s shields scale on her max HP, so Key of Khaj-Nisut is the best weapon available for maximizing her shield strength.

2nd Best Weapon: The Dockhand’s Assistant. The only other HP sword, this is a solid weapon for Layla’s shield strength.

58. Faruzan

Best Weapon: Elegy for the End. Faruzan is a support character for Anemo damage, so the teamwide buffs that Elegy provides are great for improving her support capabilities. She also has high ER requirements, especially if she isn’t C6, so the ER substat is nice on her as well.

2nd Best Weapon: Favonius Warbow. Because Faruzan has high ER requirements, Favonius Warbow is a very competitive weapon on her. It also allows her to provide energy support to the rest of the team.

59. Wanderer

Best Weapon: Tulaytullah's Remembrance. Wanderer’s signature weapon is his best option. It provides high base attack, a crit damage substat, increased Normal attack speed, and increased Normal attack damage.

2nd Best Weapon: Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds. Lost Prayer is a very strong alternative for Wanderer. He can stay on field long enough to make use of its passive and he benefits from the crit rate substat.

60. Yaoyao

Best Weapon: Dialogues of the Desert Sages. Yaoyao’s healing scales on her max HP, so this weapon’s HP substat and passive that provides her with energy when she heals synergize very well with her.

2nd Best Weapon: Favonius Lance. This is a great weapon for ensuring that Yaoyao meets her ER requirements, especially if she’s played alongside energy hungry teammates.

61. Alhaitham
