10. What's The Big Idea?
This episode takes place during the terrorist crisis training for the hero schools as they’re required to save actors who were caught in the destruction.
- This episode shows Shoto’s growth with his fire and ice as he’s learned how to control his flame more alongside his ice at the same time.
- Even against a pro hero Deku was able to damage his armor and was willing to go into a losing battle to protect everyone just before the training ends.
What Makes What's The Big Idea? Awesome
- We get to see amazing powers work together from two unlikely friends who get past their differences to trap the ‘villain’ in the training exercise.
- We get to see the students of different schools come together to complete the training exercise and keep everyone safe.
- This episode is so fun because you get to see these characters come to life and see the amazing artwork that goes into this series.
9. All For One
This long-awaited fight was split into three parts as the pro Hero All Might face All for one and the other pro heroes close in on the League of Villains’ hideout.
- This story arc was long-awaited and I’m happy with how it played out.
- This is the first episode of three that show the hero's resolve and goal of getting rid of the League of Villains to make society safe from their villainy.
What Makes All For One Awesome
- We get to see how Eraserhead feels about his students and Bakugo in particular as the press tries to rile them up to say something stupid.
- We get to see a little bit of the background of the Tenko Shimura and his sad childhood as he was alone until All for One found him and took him in.
- This is the start of an epic climax to the series, of All Might vs. All for One and the pro heroes as they fight the League of Villains and this episode delivers fast-paced action.
8. Hero Killer: Stain Vs. UA Students
Let’s go back a bit to a great fight that shows Deku’s growth and his ideal of protecting everyone before himself and Stain’s ideals of a hero should put others before themselves, Stain believes that Deku would make a great pro hero in the future.
- Stain was rejected because of his strange blood quirk and because of this he’s become the Hero Killer, hunting heroes who only fight for glory or money.
- Stain unknowingly and unwillingly started a movement against heroes because his ideals were aired on television and made people question the heroes' motives.
What Makes Hero Killer: Stain Vs. UA Students Awesome
- This episode shows Deku getting stronger and his hope to be the new number one pro hero lives deep in his heart and is unwaverable.
- We get to see Ida fight alongside Deku trying to get revenge for his brother who is never able to be a pro hero ever again, we don’t get to see Ida fight often so this is a real treat.
- We get to see another great fight of Deku’s and a rare fight with Iida as well.
7. Climax
This is the epic climax battle against the Hero Killer: Stain against Deku, Shoto, and Iida and shows the growth of Shoto and Deku and it gives Iida closure.
- This fight has an amazing ending that’s a lot different than most fights where the villain is just defeated and taken away by the cops.
- The Hero Killer: Stain has a very interesting take of heroes and what they should be and this starts a movement of some people against heroes.
What Makes Climax Awesome
- We get to see more growth of Shoto as he’s comfortable with using his flames to attack as he understands that it’s his quirk and not his dad’s.
- Iida grows with this experience and we get to see an amazing ultimate move from Iida as he supercharges his cerebral burst quirk.
- This shows the end of Stain and the Nomu attack in an epic scene that shows Gran Torino’s power as well as Endeavour's skill.
6. All Might
This episode shows a small amount of All Might’s power as he faces a Nomu specifically designed to face him while the League of Villains attacks the USJ.
- This fight takes a bad turn when All Might is caught in a trap until the students of U.A. jumped in to help once they reached the scene.
- This episode shows how much Deku really looks up to All Might and really cares for him as he throws himself in harm's way to try and save him.
What Makes the Episode All Might Awesome
- All Might show us what it means to go Plus Ultra and he fills you with so much inspiration that you feel like you can fight villains too.
- Besides the amazing writing, the art in this episode is so fast-paced especially when All Might fights Nomu past 100% of his power.
- We get to see All Might fight against someone as strong as he is and hear his words of wisdom that’s bound to fill anyone with inspiration.
5. My Hero
This amazing episode takes place during another training event that the League of Villains attacked as they try to get to Bakugo for their nefarious reasons.
- This episode rips at the heart as Deku fights against Muscular, a huge villain with incredible destructive power that rivals All Might’s power.
- We get to see everyone working their hardest and fighting for what they believe in but Deku is the real MVP of this episode.
What Makes My Hero Awesome
- Deku is finally able to use One for All without damaging his body and he keeps his promise to Kota to keep him safe in an amazing fight.
- We get to see pros at work as they face the new and stronger League of Villains as well as the students of U. A. face against them.
- This is such an amazing episode with amazing fights through it with Deku’s fight against Muscular being the highlight of it.
4. Symbol Of Peace
This episode takes place during the raid on the League of Villains as the heroes restrain the villains they get countered by All for One as he makes his appearance.
- All Might has become the symbol of peace through the years and with him, as the symbol, All for One became the symbol of evil and this episode shows why.
- While Bakugo is being held hostage by the League of Villains All Might isn’t able to go all out and fight All for One at full power so Deku and his friends have to save him.
What Makes Symbol Of Peace Awesome
- All Might actually get angry and we get to see a daring rescue of Bakugo by Deku and his friends as All Might holds back All for One.
- This episode leads to an amazing, long-awaited fight against All for One and All Might in the next episode of the series.
- This episode is great to see right before the fight against All Might and All for One to get more background and see the start of a great fight.
3. Deku Vs. Ka-Chan, Part 1
Since the beginning, Deku and Bakugo have been rivals and friends that have been trying to get stronger and use each other as inspiration for it even if they won’t admit it.
- This episode was during training and is one of two times these two rivals fought, Bakugo having much more control of his quirk Deku is still able to win against him in their training exercise that put two teams against each other.
- The fight between these two shows how quickly Deku can think of a solution and a plan in even the worst predicaments.
What Makes Deku Vs. Ka-Chan, Part 1 Awesome
- Even without using his quirk he was able to strike and counter Bakugo as he tried to attack him showing that he’s grown from being that sad weak kid Bakugo knew.
- We get to see a super cool new attack that his gauntlets allow him to do, they store up his sweat to release a powerful explosive shot.
- We get to see an amazing fight against these two who have been feuding for years.
2. Deku Vs. Ka-Chan, Part 2
The second fight against these two is amazing because they’ve both grown a lot through the years and they’ve finally buried the hatchet after this fight and Bakugo learns Deku’s secret.
- This fight is great to watch because Deku didn’t want to fight while Bakugo never stopped wanting to fight because of his anger.
- We get to see Bakugo break and really change because of his guilt of being the reason All Might lost his power after fighting All for One.
What Makes Deku Vs. Ka-Chan, Part 2 Awesome
- Deku and Bakugo have a really messed up relationship but this fight shows how Bakugo thinks and they start to have a heart to heart in this fight and it’s great to see.
- The art style never disappoints and this fight is an amazing example to show it.
- We finally get to see the emotional side of Bakugo instead of his constant rage and anger at everyone in the world as his pride got in the way of his growth.
1. One For All
This is the epic climax episode of the most anticipated fight in the series of All Might vs. All for One after everyone learns of All Might’s secret of his loss of power.
- This episode delivers everything we’ve been hoping for from this fight with an amazing show of power and amazing artwork as well as writing that we’ve expected from this amazing show and its amazing creators.
- We see the last attack of All Might as his flame starts to die and it’s an amazing show of skill and power as All Might let out the United States of Smash.
What Makes One For All Awesome
- Not only is this fight epic, we finally get to see the real form of All for One and see how far All Might is willing to go to keep everyone safe.
- This shows us an amazing last effort attack from All Might and his courage against a seemingly unstoppable enemy.
- This fight was long-awaited and when we finally got to see it this episode didn’t pull any stops and delivered an amazing fight.
