[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Maverick Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Maverick Loadouts in R6 Siege
The five best loadouts for operator Maverick in Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 9 Season 1

Maverick is a hard breach operator and he performs that role through his special gadget, the Breaching Torch. It’s basically a high-powered blow torch that can melt portions of unreinforced walls, and when done enough, it can be used to create entry points for the attacking team’s push.

Maverick’s role and special gadget was the consideration into making this list, because as the Maverick player, you’d want a loadout setup that will go hand in hand as best as it could to the operator’s role which is usually dictated by their special gadget. With that said, here are the five loadout setups that players should really consider when selecting this very unique operator.

5. M4 with Magnified B Scope, Flash Hider, and Horizontal Grip + 1911 Tacops with Suppressor and Laser + Smoke Grenade

The M4 is Maverick’s only fully-automatic weapon, and as a result, most players gravitate towards it when choosing his primary weapon. Obviously, fully-automatic weapons are much more convenient to use in combat, because for it to keep firing, all you have to do is hold the fire button, and, of course, hold the weapon’s recoil. As for that, the flash hider on its barrel will add a lot of vertical recoil control on the weapon, and that should be enough for most players to manage its weapon kick quite well.

The horizontal grip on the other hand will provide Maverick with a 5% movement speed boost which will help him move from one place to another quicker, as well as help him catch up to his teammates. Maverick does have the tendency to get left behind when he’s busy melting portions of unreinforced walls using his Breaching Torch. The 5% movement speed boost will also make him harder to hit when he’s moving, and that’s a huge plus for his survivability.

Excels in:

  • The flash hider on Maverick’s M4 assault rifle will add a lot of recoil control on the weapon, helping Maverick manage its weapon kick as well as remove its muzzle flash, which can help when shooting through murder holes
  • The horizontal grip’s 5% movement speed boost can help Maverick move from one area to the next quicker, and that’s great for him since he tends to get left behind when he’s using his Breaching Torch
  • The magnified B scope, formerly known as the scope 2.5x will provide a high level of zoom for Maverick when he’s aiming-down-sights on his M4 assault rifle which will up his accuracy by a lot
  • The 1911 tacops handgun with a suppressor will be a great utility for Maverick when it comes to shooting enemy gadgets like cameras silently in order to not alert enemies to his presence
  • The two smoke grenades will provide a lot of cover for Maverick and his teammates when they’re pushing, especially when they’re entering through the entry point that he’s created with his Breaching Torch

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - M4 with Magnified B Scope, Flash Hider, and Horizontal Grip
  • Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Smoke Grenade

4. AR-15.50 with Telescopic B, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip + 1911 Tacops with Suppressor and Laser + Claymore

A lot of players, especially those new to the game, might be intimidated to use the AR-15.50 instead of the fully-automatic M4 when playing Maverick. That’s because the AR-15.50 is a single-shot rifle, and in high traffic situations, if you’re not that used to rapid shooting a single-shot weapon, it can be detrimental. However, if you’ve practiced and are used to fragging opponents with single-shot weapons, this loadout setup may be just the one for you.

That’s because the AR-15.50 inflicts heavy damage per shot, and with a muzzle brake and vertical grip, it won’t just be a highly powerful weapon. Its recoil will be virtually non-existent, and that will allow Maverick to hit his targets with pinpoint accuracy. The telescopic B as the AR-15.50 sight will provide him with a whopping 3.0x sight which will up his accuracy even more because through it, he’ll really be able to see enemies bigger on his screen, and with that, they’ll be easier to hit.

Excels in:

  • Heavy damage and destruction rate per shot because the AR-15.50 is basically a designated marksman rifle. It’ll also work really well with the murder holes that Maverick can create with his Breaching Torch.
  • The muzzle brake and vertical grip attachments being both present on Maverick’s AR-15.50 will add plenty of recoil control on the weapon and that’ll make it very easy to handle its weapon kick
  • The telescopic B sight will provide Maverick with a 3.0x zoom level on his AR-15.50 marksman rifle which would be great for targeting opponents from the murder holes he’s created with his breaching torch
  • The suppressed 1911 tacops handgun would be a great utility for Maverick when it comes to disabling enemy gadgets like cameras while trying to not alert enemies to his presence
  • The claymores are great utilities for Maverick because they can protect him from roamers and run outs while he’s using his Breaching Torch to melt portions of a reinforced wall for murder holes or an entry point

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - AR-15.50 with Telescopic B, Muzzle Brake, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

3. M4 with Magnified B Scope, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip + 1911 Tacops with Suppressor and Laser + Smoke Grenade

This loadout setup is for players who're looking to deal as much damage as possible. That’s because the extended barrel on Maverick’s M4 assault rifle will boost its firepower. A few seasons ago, the devs made it so that the extended barrel attachment would now add more damage to the weapon while still retaining its previous benefit of reducing weapons’ range damage drop-off. With this loadout setup, Maverick’s M4’s damage will go from 44 to 49 which is quite a lot.

This is a very viable setup for Maverick’s M4 because when playing him, there would be a lot of times when you’d have to shoot enemies through the holes he’s created with his Breaching Torch. That means mostly shooting enemies with just a small window of opportunity, so if you can deal as much damage as you could within that window that’s a huge plus. Of course, the firepower boost on the M4 will also increase the chances of you taking out enemies much faster than normal.

Excels in:

  • Inflicting higher damage than normal from Maverick’s M4 assault rifle due to the extended barrel boosting its firepower as well as reducing its range damage drop-off
  • Maintaining a good amount of recoil control on Maverick’s M4 through the vertical grip attachment which is needed because the weapon’s stock recoil can be challenging to control
  • The magnified B scope will provide Maverick with a 2.5x zoom level which will allow him to clearly see his targets from any range and that in turn will boost his accuracy by a lot
  • The suppressor on Maverick’s 1911 Tacops will provide him with a utility for disabling enemy gadgets silently which is useful for a stealthy approach within the mission building
  • The smoke grenades in Maverick’s arsenal will provide Maverick and his teammates with a lot of cover for their push, defuser plant attempt, as well as their entry through a hole that he’s created with his Breaching Torch

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - M4 with Magnified B Scope, Extended Barrel, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Smoke Grenade

2. AR-15.50 with Telescopic B, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + 1911 Tacops with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Claymore

This is the best loadout setup for Maverick players who prefer the AR-15.50 over the M4 assault rifle for their primary weapon, and that’s because the suppressor on its barrel has a great synergy with his special gadget, the Breaching Torch. The Breaching Torch is often used to create murder holes on reinforced external walls. That way, Maverick can peek inside the objective spot through those holes and has a high chance of fragging unsuspecting defenders.

The suppressor will greatly silence the AR-15.50’s shots and remove their directional threat indicator. So with this loadout setup, Maverick could keep strafing enemies through the murder holes he’s created without them immediately knowing exactly where the shots are coming from. That’ll prevent them from issuing an effective counter fire or even protect themselves properly. And with the AR-15.50’s heavy stopping power per shot, there’s a high likelihood that Maverick can take out an enemy with just a few shots from it.

Excels in:

  • The suppressor on the AR-15.50 is a great partner to Maverick’s Breaching Torch because it will make it much harder for enemies to know which murder hole Maverick is shooting them from
  • The vertical grip will help Maverick maintain stability on the AR-15.50, especially when he’s shooting it rapidly, because the vertical grip specializes in adding a lot of vertical recoil control on weapons
  • The telescopic B sight will provide Maverick a 3.0x zoom level on his AR-15.50 which will allow him to see his targets well regardless of range, and that will be a big up to his accuracy
  • The muzzle brake on the 1911 Tacops will make its recoil almost non-existent and the user will be able to go to aim-down-sights stance with it faster than normal because of the laser
  • The two claymores in Maverick’s arsenal will be great for protecting him from run outs and roamers when he’s using his Breaching Torch to melt portions of the reinforced external wall on the objective spot

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - AR-15.50 with Telescopic B, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

1. M4 with Magnified B Scope, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + 1911 Tacops with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Claymore

This loadout setup would be the best for most Maverick players because more people will find it more convenient to use the fully-automatic M4 over the single-shot AR-15.50 despite its much heavier stopping power. The M4 has a good rate of fire, high damage, and manageable recoil. Though it needs at least one recoil control providing attachment for its weapon kick to be manageable for most people, and in this setup, that would be the vertical grip.

As for the suppressor on its barrel, as mentioned in the suppressed AR-15.50 entry above, it’ll greatly silence the weapon’s shots and remove its directional threat indicator. That perk is really great to have especially for Maverick. That way, the enemies won’t immediately know where he’s shooting them from, and when he’s shooting from the murder holes he’s created with his Breaching Torch, it’ll be harder for them to be sure which hole to shoot for a counter fire. Overall, this is the most balanced and convenient loadout setup for Maverick that has a great synergy with his special gadget.

Excels in:

  • The suppressed M4 will provide Maverick with a fully-automatic weapon that could shoot enemies silently and not provide them with a directional threat indicator which could make it harder for them to know where he’s shooting from
  • The vertical grip will help maintain a good amount of recoil control on Maverick’s M4 assault rifle which will be needed because the stock recoil of the weapon alone could be hard to control
  • The magnified B scope will help Maverick a lot when it comes to accuracy because it will provide him with a 2.5x zoom that will allow him to see his targets very well regardless of the distance
  • The muzzle brake on Maverick’s 1911 Tacops handgun will provide a lot of recoil control on the weapon, and the laser will allow him to go to aim-down-sights stance with it 10% faster than normal
  • The two claymores as Maverick’s generic gadgets will allow him to score kills on defenders who will attempt to run out and kill him while he’s using his Breaching Torch to melt portions of the reinforced wall on the objective spot

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - M4 with Magnified B Scope, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - 1911 Tacops with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Claymore
