[Top 5] Splatoon 2 Best Rollers

Splatoon 2 Best Rollers
Get ready for the Rollers!

There’s been a debate on which of the rollers is the best in Splatoon 2. Some prefer the non-brush rollers while other players favor the brush rollers. Splatfest has come and gone another year and it’s time that this debate is settled once and for all.

5. Gold Dynamo Roller

Coming in at number 5 is the Gold Dynamo Roller which can be purchased by the player at level 25. The player must recover the Sunken Scroll in the Octo Valley. This roller is a heavyweight weapon for many reasons.

It takes up 18% of ink from the ink tank which means the player will have to fill up after 5 hits. In turn, the Gold Dynamo Roller can splat enemies in one hit and has the longest range of attack of all the rollers. It takes 190 points to use the Special Ink Armor on the player and their teammates, giving them an advantage over the enemy. It also has the widest range of ink coverage and its Sub weapon is Splat Bomb which helps when the ink runs out. It isn’t great for inking but rushing to help teammates or protecting the base is not hard with this one-hit-wonder.

4. Carbon Roller

Now to the next roller on the list is the Carbon Roller which is a lightweight weapon. It also means it is the fastest one-hit splat in the game. This weapon uses 4% of the ink tank, meaning that the player must refill after 25 hits. It also can use its Special at 160 points. This is a roller that does well in covering ground quickly in Turf War and is available for purchase at level 7.

This weapon comes with the Sub Autobomb and the Special attack Ink Storm. While rolling around on the battlefield, this sub-weapon and Special attack come in handy when dealing with enemies. The Ink Storm can send enemies running out of an area that the ink is raining on them. If the player wants it to sneak up on them, the Sub Autobomb is ready to deploy.

3. Krak-On Splat Roller

The Krak-On Splat Roller is a middleweight weapon that has excellent range, speed, and handling that is great for any player. This weapon consumes 9% of ink in the ink tank and can attack 11 times before having to refill. This roller is a collaboration with the Krak-On gear brand and is available for purchase at level 12.

This weapon is amazing because it can be swung horizontally on the ground and vertically when jumping to attack enemies. The Krak-On Splat Roller gives players the advantage when attacking their enemies with its unique features that are made up of several rollers. The Sub weapon is Squid Beakon which allows the players to place this small object on the field and super jump to it when they are in trouble. It’s a great strategic plan to use the Baller weapon if running out of enemy territory or running towards the enemy. Using all these weapons with a strategy will help the player gain victory.

2. Flingza Roller

This middleweight  weapon is the Flingza Roller which has long-range ink attacks and ink speed. This weapon is available to purchase at level 24 and takes 180 points to use the special attack. It consumes 8% of ink when hitting with a horizontal swing and can attack 12 times before having to refill. The weapon also uses 12% when it is a vertical hit and can attack 8 times before having to refill the ink tank.

The Flingza Roller can hit either direction and the weapon changes physically in the direction the player hits. Since this weapon is good with long-range attacks, it only makes sense that the Sub weapon and Special attack focus on up-close attacks. The Splash Wall can be thrown out in front of the player for both offense and defense. This Splash Wall keeps enemies away while giving the player and teammates cover from enemy attacks. Splash-Bomb Launcher is a weapon that throws out multiple bombs at once to splat the enemy. The Flingza Roller has both up close and long-range attacks that are sure to help any player on the battlefield.

1. Splat Roller

Finally, the number one weapon is the Splat Roller which is available to purchase after level 3. This middleweight weapon uses 6% of its ink tank while rolling and 9% when it is attacking. With the Splat Roller, the player can attack 11 times before needing to refill the ink tank. The range, speed, and inking speed make it a balanced weapon that any player can use. It takes 170 points to use the Special attack weapon and can splat enemies while rolling out ink on the floor.

This weapon has a Curling Bomb for its Sub weapon and Splashdown as its Special attack. With a mid-range weapon, the Curling Bomb comes in handy when needing to use a long-range attack. When waving the roller around and if aimed right at the center of the roller, the player can one-hit splat an opponent. Using the Splashdown Special attack at the right moment can splat multiple players at once and ink the field. Covering territory quickly with a trail of ink and splatting enemies as the player goes makes this a very attractive weapon for all players.
