What are addons and why you need them?
Addons are collections of Lua/XML codes that augment, change, or replace WoW’s default UI (User Interface). Many addons in WoW are made to help players collect materials, transmogs, mounts, locations for special items, and much more utilities that are provided to you at an easy and fast download distance! In Wrath of the Lich King patch 3.1, the major content patch for the expansion, Blizzard introduced an official Ui Add-On Development Policy that limits how Addon creators can distribute their Addons!
