Animal Crossing New Horizons How To Plant Trees

Planting trees is one of the most basic but essential activities to do in Animal Crossing. The main object that you’ll need is a shovel and some tree saplings that you can buy at Nook’s Cranny in the daily shelf selection. You can also get saplings from Leif either during his visit to your island or by going to Harv’s Island after update 2.0. To plant a tree sapling you just need to dig up a hole in the ground of your island with a shovel and then bury the sapling into the earth.

Planting trees is extremely important to resource gathering; when fully grown, you can get different kinds of wood by chopping (but not fully chopping) your trees and from some sticks and seasonal materials to fruit, wisps, and even furniture when shaking them!
