Division 2 All Exotics (Updated) - And How To Get Them

All of the exotic weapons revealed so far since the new expansion and update.


Players have been excited about the prospect of getting new weapons as well as other types of content for The Division2. 

The new expansion of The Division 2, Warlords of New York has introduced four new exotics, Chameleon, Lady Death, Bighorn, and Bullet King. 

This article will be going over all of the exotic weapons as well as the new additions that came with the Warlords of New York expansion. 

 

1. Pestilence 

  • Description: A LMG exotic weapon, that is not the most popular among players but for those who enjoy LMGs, they may find it reliable. 
  • Details:
    • Talents: 
      • Plague of the Outcasts: After hitting the same enemy 20 times, that enemy is inflicted with Plague of the Outcasts. Whenever an enemy with Plague of the Outcasts is killed, they leave a toxic cloud for 10 seconds that deals 200% weapon damage per second to anyone inside and inflicts them with Pestilence.
      • Pestilence: This debuff reduces healing received by 50% for 10 seconds. Whenever an enemy with Pestilence would be downed, they are instead instantly killed. The debuff is removed if the enemy is repaired to full armor.

      • Outcast Resilience: While holstered, gain 20% bonus armor for 5 seconds whenever you are affected by blind, bleed, or burning.

How to Get It:

2. Sweet Dreams/Lullaby

  • Description: Sweet Dreams and Lullaby are exotic shotguns. Lullaby is awarded to the player through pre-ordering The Division 2 and can be upgraded into Sweet Dreams. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Sweet Dreams – Landing a melee attack on an enemy after swapping to this weapon grants 35% Bonus armor and applies the Sandman debuff. Killing an enemy with the Sandman Debuff reapplies the bonus armor.
      • Sandman – The debuff prevents the enemy from using armor kits and from receiving healing from any source.
      • Evasive – While equipped, dodging reloads 1% of your current weapons magazine.
      • Lullaby – Landing a melee attack on an enemy after swapping to this weapon grants 35% bonus armor.

How to Get It:

3. Merciless/Ruthless

  • Description: Merciless and Ruthless, like the exotic shotguns above, are exotix rifles that are very similar. Ruthless can be upgraded into the Merciless with the right requisites. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Binary Trigger – This weapon is equipped with binary trigger that fires on trigger pull and release.
      • Guerrilla Warfare – Pulling the trigger fires primer rounds that stay embedded in an enemy. Releasing the trigger fires detonator rounds that detonate all the primers on the enemy it hits. Each primer detonated gains +75% damage per primer detonated. Only one enemy can have primers and at most 5 primers can be embedded.
      • Brutality – While holstered, landing a shot has a 5% chance to deal +20% damage as explosive damage.

How to Get It:

4. The Chatterbox

  • Description: The Chatterbox is the sole SMG exotic weapon in The Division 2. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Incessant Chatter – Every shot landed grants 1% rate of fire to a max of 60%. This reset on reload.
      • Box Magazine – Kills with this weapon refill 20% of its magazine and grants a buff for 10s. While the buff is active, every shot landed increases magazine capacity by 1 to a max of 60. Killing a target consumes the buff to fully refill the increased magazine.
      • Blabbermouth – While holstered, reloading your weapon within 5s after a kill grants 20% rate of fire for 10s.

How to Get It:

5. Eagle Bearer

  • Description: Eagle Bearer is a powerful exotic assault rifle that is very difficult to get, but encourages team effort and connection to obtain it. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Eagle’s Strike: Accuracy increases as you continuously fire, up to +100%. Headshot kills grand +100% reload speed, +35% damage and the tenacity buff for 10 seconds. The strength of tenacity is increased by 1% for body shots and 5% for headshots.
      • Tenacity: 20-80% of damage taken is delayed until the buff expires. All of the total delayed damage is reduced for each enemy killed while the buff is active, up to 100% with 5 kills.
      • Protected Fire: While holstered, fain +10% bonus armor while firing your current weapon.

How to Get It:

6. Liberty

  • Description: Liberty is the only exotic pistol so far, and is an extremely powerful sidearm that rivals all sidearms. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Gain +100% Damage to Hostile electronics – While aiming, enemy weak points and hostile electronics are highlighted.
      • Blind Justice – After destroying an enemy’s weak point or hostile electronics, your next bullet deals +500% weapon damage. If that shot kills an enemy, your magazine is refilled and grants +100% weapon damage for the entire magazine.
      • Independence – While holstered, destroying weak-points refill 20% of your current weapons magazine.

How to Get It:

7. Diamondback

  • Description: With talents that increase weapon damage exponentially, the Diamondback is more than just a powerful weapon, it is visually pleasing as well. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Agonizing Bite – The Diamondback will randomly mark an enemy by default. Shooting the marked enemy guarantees a critical hit with +20% damage. The weapon will then mark another enemy. Marks also change whenever you reload.
      • Deep Fangs – After you’ve hit five marked enemies you’ll gain 50% reload speed, 20% total damage, and 10 seconds of guaranteed critical hits. The count is reset if you miss a shot.
      • Shedding Skin – While the weapon is drawn, you gain 20% bonus armor for three seconds. While holsters, each time you reload/cycle your current weapon you gain 8% bonus armor for two seconds.

How to Get It:

8. Nemesis

  • Description: The Nemesis is an exotic marksman rifle and is one of the most powerful weapons in The Division 2. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Counter-Sniper: Shots fired deal 0-100% weapon damage based on how long the trigger is held before releasing. The time to reach max weapon damage is reduced whenever a shot does not kill an enemy it hits.
      • Nemesis: Aiming at an enemy marks them as your nemesis for 15s, letting you see them through walls. Your shots gain +5% damage to your nemesis for each second they are marked, to a max of 50%.
      • Preparation: While holstered, gain +25% headshot damage when scoped with your current weapon.

9. Chameleon

  • Description: The Chameleon is a new exotic assault weapon that was added to The Division 2. It is a random drop weapon, which can be good and bad for players. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Adaptive Instincts: Hitting 30 headshots grants +20% critical hit chance and +50% critical hit damage for 45s. Hitting 60 body shots grants +100 weapon damage for 45s. Hitting 30 leg shots grants +150% reload speed for 45s
      • Overlap: When Holstered, gain +5% weapon handling.
      • Found: Bounties/Targeted Missions

How to Get It:

10. Lady Death

  • Description: Lady Death is another exotic SMG that players will be excited to get their hands on. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Breathe Free – When moving, gain 4 stacks per second, or 8 stacks if sprinting, up to 40 stacks total. Each round fired consumes a stack, amplifying damage by 60%. Kills grant 20% movement speed for 10 seconds.
    • Found:
      • Deck of 22 Worldbosses NY

How to Get It:

11. Bighorn

  • Description: The Bighorn is an exotic rifle that was released with the new expansion, Warlords of New York. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Bullet Hell – This weapon never needs to be reloaded. For every 100 bullets that hit an enemy, replenish some ammo to you and your allies’ reserves.
    • Found:
      • Rikers Missions

How to Get It:

12. Bullet King

  • Description: Bullet King is another exotic LMG for The Division 2 that was released with the expansion. Perhaps this LMG can be of better use than Pestilence, which has received negative reviews based on performance. 
  • Details:
    • Talents:
      • Big Game Hunter – When scoped, switches to semi-automatic fire mode, dealing 450% weapon damage with each shot.
    • Found:
      • Legendary Missions/Heroic Strongholds
