[Top 5] Elden Ring Best Hammer Builds That Are Powerful

[Top 5] Elden Ring Best Hammer Builds That Are Powerful
Hammers are amazing in Elden Ring, so are the dragon fights.

With so many weapons in Elden Ring, and so many different builds to use, this list of the best hammers will have you wielding a hammer and still deal great damage. This top 5 list is for all the players who want to use hammers in their run, sadly the best hammer can only be obtainable after beating Radagon, with him being the final boss, you should use Marika's hammer in a new game run as it is one great weapon and personally one of the most fun weapons to play with.

Iji is a lower-budget version of the best smith in Dark Souls 1.

5. Morning Star Build

The Morning Star is a great weapon.

The Morning Star build is one powerful build, with the benefit of a few added spells or incantations you can make one great build. The build will mostly do physical damage, but the blood loss will do a good percentage of damage to enemies and bosses.

What the Morning Star build excels in:

  • Great damage.
  • Has bleed.
  • Unique moveset.

Build Details:

  • Use the Morning Star as your main weapon and the Dragon Communion Seal.
  • For armor, you can use what you like but the white mask will increase attack power by 10 % when in the vicinity of blood loss, the Night’s Cavalry set also looks great with this build.
  • For talismans use the Radagon Soreseal for a few extra levels and replace it later with Erdtrees Favor +2 to increase HP by +4%, stamina by +9.6%, and +8% to equip load.
  • Lord of Blood’s exultation to increase attack power when in the vicinity of blood loss.
  • The Claw talisman to increase jump attacks damage.
  • And the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia because it greatly increases attack power from successive attacks
  • In the Wondrous Physick use the Strength and Dex- Knot Crystal Tears to increase Strength and Dex temporarily.
  • Use the Rotten Breath Spell to rot bosses and deal damage to them constantly in the fight.
  • Use Golden Vow before a fight to buff your character, you can also use the Flame Grant Me Strength spell to also buff your character.

4.   Bubble Blower Build

Bubbles!

Bubble build will be quite a challenging run, but it can deal good damage and is a solid build-up until Maliketh. The bubbles do pure holy damage, so as the late game bosses are very holy resistant towards the end game, the build will also have its troubles then. This does not mean that you won’t be able to beat the game as anything is possible with any weapon or build.

What the Bubble Blower Build Excels in:

  • High early game damage.
  • Ranged damage.
  • Variety of incantations to use.

Build details:

  • Use the Envoy’s Horn as your main weapon, you can add a seal to use incantations as you will be a faith build. The Dragon Communion Seal or the Erdtree Seal will work great.
  • Equip Two Finger Heirloom to raise your faith.
  • Use Marika’s Soreseal for those extra levels.
  • The Shard of Alexander to increase the damage of weapon arts.
  • And the Sacred Scorpion Charm to increase holy attack damage.
  • For armor use the Envoy Crown as it increases the potency of bubbles. The rest is up to you.
  • In the Wondrous Physic use the Cerulean Hidden Tear to remove all FP consumption for a time. and the Faith-Knot Crystal Tear to temporarily boost faith.
  • You can use the incantations you prefer, the Rotten Breath is a must as it will deal constant damage to bosses if the boss can be rotted.
  • Use a healing spell like Urgent Heal or Erdtree Greatheal depending on how many faith points you have.
  • Use Golden Vow before a fight to buff your character, you can also use the Flame Grant Me Strength spell to also buff your character.
  •  I would also recommend the Law of Regression as it will dispel most ailments, it also nullifies most spells or incantations that are already active.

3. Nox Flowing Hammer Build

Liquid Mimic weapon.

The Nox Flowing Hammer is one great hammer and with a few talismans and spells, you will be able to deal massive damage. The Nox Flowing Hammer also has B scaling in strength which also makes the hammer great, the build can be changed and edited to your desire as there’s a lot of wiggle room in the build.

What the Nox Flowing Hammer Build excels in:

  • B scaling in strength.
  • Good damage.
  • Close ranged damage.

Build details:

  • Use the Nox Flowing Hammer as your main weapon, and the Erdtree Seal with the Glintstone Staff.
  • For armor you can use anything but a great set would be the Maliketh set or the Radhan set as they’re quite sturdy.
  • When it comes to talismans use the Claw talisman to increase the damage of jump attacks.
  • Equip the Starscourge Heirloom to increase strength by 5.
  • Use Radagon’s Soreseal for those extra few levels.
  • Equip the Dragoncrest Greatshield talisman to increase damage negation.
  • In the Wondrous Physick use the Strength and Dex- Knot Crystal Tears to increase Strength and Dex temporarily.
  • For incantations use Golden Vow before a fight to buff your character, you can also use the Flame Grant Me Strength spell to also buff your character.
  • For spells use Glintstone Pebble and Glintstone Arc, you can add more depending on what you wish to use.

2. Finger Build

Try Finger they said.

The Ringed Finger is a “joke” weapon that surprisingly deals massive damage. With a great skill, you will be able to stagger enemies and bosses easily. The Finger build is also great as you can add a lot of incantations with the build as it can double as a Hammer/ Holy hybrid build. The weapon will also be able to have B scaling in strength at plus 10.

What the Finger Build Excels in:

  • High damage.
  • Great poise damage.

Build details:

  • Use the Ringed Finger as your main weapon.
  • You should add the Dragon Communion Seal.
  • For armor, you can use whatever you prefer, but since you're running such a grotesque weapon I would recommend the Godskin Noble set.
  • For talismans use the Starscourge Heirloom to increase strength by 5.
  • The Claw Talisman to increase jump attack damage.
  • Radagon’s Soreseal for an extra few levels.
  • And the Shard of Alexander to increase the damage of weapon arts.
  • In the Wondrous Physick use the Strength and Dex- Knot Crystal Tears to increase Strength and Dex temporarily.
  • For incantations use Golden Vow before a fight to buff your character, you can also use the Flame Grant Me Strength spell to also buff your character.
  • Use Rotten Breath at the start of a fight to deal damage to bosses that can be rotted.
  • For the last incantation, I would recommend the Law of Regression as it will dispel most ailments, it also nullifies most spells or incantations that are already active.

1. Marika’s Hammer Build

Marika, before becoming Radagon, better be a DLC boss.

Marika’s Hammer is one amazing weapon, and since you will be killed by it multiple times, you can enjoy this weapon as well. The hammer can have B strength scaling at +10 with the added benefit of C scaling in Faith. The build will have a great variety of incantations to use as it will have a few points in faith.

What the Marika’s Hammer Build excels in:

  • Good damage.
  • Crowd control.
  • Great weapon art damage.

Build details:

  • Equip Marika’s Hammer as your main weapon. Add the Erdtree Seal or the Dragon Communion Seal as you will be a faith build.
  • For armor, you can use what you prefer, but since the closest thing to a Marika set we have is the Malenia set, I would recommend using that set.
  • For talismans, use the Shard of Alexander to increase the damage of weapon arts.
  • Equip the Sacred Scorpion Charm to increase holy damage
  • The Erdtrees Favour +2 to increase HP by +4%, stamina by +9.6% and +8% to equip load.
  • Equip the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia because it greatly increases attack power from successive attacks
  • In the Wondrous Physick use the Faith-Knot Crystal Tear and the Strength-Knot Crystal Tear.
  • Use the Rotten Breath Incantation as it can deal continuous damage to bosses when they are rotted.
  • You can use Golden Vow before a fight to buff your character, you can also use the Flame Grant Me Strength spell to also buff your character.
  • Use Erdtree Heal to heal yourself and your allies.
  • You can use Radagon’s Rings of Light to have an incantation that can also deal damage.
  • For the last incantation, I would recommend the Law of Regression as it will dispel most ailments, it also nullifies most spells or incantations that are already active.
