[Top 5] GTA Online Best Motorcycles

GTA Online Best Motorcycles
The wind in your hair, and the pavement in your face if you aren’t careful.

There is little that matches the adrenaline rush of motorcycles. Whether it’s weaving in and out of traffic at a breakneck pace, or rocketing through the alleyways leaving Los Santos’ finest in your high-octane dust.

There’s a lot to consider when deciding which of these two-wheeled terrors is the actual best, but for this list, I’ll try to consider which of these bikes has the best combination of good features and strengths, which will end up excluding bikes that are amazing at one specific thing, but not overly useful for anything else.

So without further ado, let’s get to the list.

5. Maibatsu Sanchez (Best for Off-roading and Stunts)

Grand Theft Auto has had a lot of vehicles come and go throughout the series’ 23-year run, though there have been a few that have become recurring staples of the series; the Sanchez is one such example. This dirt bike entered the series in 2002’s Vice City, and has been in every game since, both main series entries and spin-offs. It makes the cut as both one of the most versatile bikes available in GTA Online, and also one of the easiest to both get and to spawn to your side when needed.

Stats:

  • Speed: 3/5

  • Acceleration: 3.5/5

  • Breaking: 2/5

  • Handling: 3/5

Why the Maibatsu Sanchez is so good:

  • Not only can you buy it very cheaply ($8000) but you can find it around the map without much difficulty.

  • It is designed for off-roading, making it ideal for nearly all missions and activities that take you out of Los Santos.

  • If you are a VIP or a CEO, you can summon one (to your location, not to the nearest road) with the SecuroServ menu for free.

  • It’s good for doing tricks due to its lightweight and strong ability for pulling wheelies.

Where do you get it?

  • It can be summoned from the SecuroServ Menu as a VIP or CEO for free.
  • It can be commonly found driving around Sandy Shores.
  • It can be purchased from Southern San Andreas Super Auto for $8000

4. Pegassi Bati 801 (Best for Beginner Racers)

It’s fast, it’s maneuverable, and best of all it’s reasonably cheap.

The Bati 801 is a very strong bike to add to your collection, especially if you are just starting to take an interest in racing, or even just starting out in GTA Online in general and haven’t earned much money as of yet. Despite its comparatively low price tag, it does manage to maintain its place as one of the fastest bikes in the game, so even using this one later in-game will not put you at a major disadvantage against the more expensive racing bikes on the market.

Stats:

  • Speed: 4/5

  • Acceleration: 4/5

  • Breaking: 2.5/5

  • Handling: 3.5/5

Why the Pegassi Bati 801 is so good:

  • It’s quite affordable, costing only $15,000 to purchase.

  • Its stats are very well balanced, making it a solid competitive racing choice.

  • Its acceleration and top speed are only matched by a handful of bikes, and they all cost considerably more money.

Where do you get it?

  • It can be purchased from Southern San Andreas Super Auto for $15,000
  • Spawns frequently in La Puerta
  • (It cannot be modified at LS Customs if stolen rather than purchased)

3. Pegassi Oppressor (Best for Getting Around Quickly)

Now for a bike that really flies.

The Pegassi Oppressor is really in a class of its own. On the ground, it’s a fast and maneuverable bike, with a jet engine that allows you to boost to a very impressive speed for short periods of time. The rocket engine quickly recharges after use, so long as you are on the ground. It also has wings that allow it to take off and glide for a respectably long time between boosts, and front-facing machine guns (or missile launchers if you unlock them through research at a bunker). All around there is almost nothing quite like it (I’m ignoring the Mk2 Oppressor in this list because it really can’t be described as a bike, not having any wheels.)

Stats:

  • Speed: 4/5

  • Acceleration: 5/5

  • Breaking: 2/5

  • Handling: 3/5

Why the Pegassi Oppressor is so good:

  • Its jet engine gives it a solid edge in races and gives it unsurpassable speed in a straight line.

  • Its ability to fly short distances makes getting around the city and the country quickly easy.

  • The ability to jump over the mountains in a few boosts makes getting around the map easier than with any other land vehicle.

Where do you get it?

  • The Pegassi Oppressor can be purchased from Warstock Cache & Carry for $3,524, 500 or for $2,650,000 at the trade price.

2.Shitzu Hakuchou Drag Bike (Best for Acceleration)

From parked to full speed faster than you can say “Impressive Acceleration”, probably…

Do you want to be able to hit the highest speeds, and blast ahead of your competition? Do you want to be able to do so for less than half the price of the only better option? Well the Hakuchou Drag is definitely the bike for you.

Stats:

  • Speed: 4/5

  • Acceleration: 5/5

  • Breaking: 3.5/5

  • Handling: 4.5/5

Why the Hakuchou Drag is so good:

  • It has acceleration speeds only surpassed by the Oppressor (but much more consistently as it doesn’t rely upon a jet engine that is limited by a cooldown).

  • It’s much cheaper than the next best bike.

Where do you get it?

  • The Hakuchou Drag can be purchased at Legendary Motorsport for $976,000

1.Nagasaki Shotaro (Best All Round)

The Shotaro, whilst quite expensive, is the best bike all around. It has excellent acceleration, handling, and speed, allowing for impressive high speeds and on a dime turns. It is only marginally better than the Hakuchou Drag, but if you have the money it's definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Stats:

  • Speed: 4.5/5

  • Acceleration: 5/5

  • Breaking: 3.5/5

  • Handling: 4/5

Why the Nagasaki Shotaro is so good:

  • It has the highest speed of any motorcycle.

  • It has incredibly good handling for such a fast vehicle.

  • Who doesn’t want to drive a light cycle?

Where do you get it?

  • It can be purchased from Legendary Motorsport for $2,225,000
  • You must complete one round of the Adversary mode “Deadline” to unlock the Shotaro for purchase.
