[Top 5] PUBG Best Ways to Rank Up Fast

PUBG Best Ways to Rank Up Fast
How to hit the highest ranks with ease

There are 7 different ranks in PUBG: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Grandmaster. Each rank is divided into 5 divisions. The fifth division is the lowest, while the first division is the highest.

Starting in the fifth division, you’ll have to gather Rank Points (RP) to advance to the next division.  After exceeding the point mark, you’ll advance from division 1 of your rank to division 5 of the next rank.

While you might think that winning games is the only way up the ranks, it goes a bit deeper than that. If you’re looking to climb the ranks quickly, you’ll need to do more than just winning matches.

Though important, winning is not the only, or even fastest, way to rank up in PUBG. There are several other determinants that, together, shape your rank. These include survival time, kill count, game mode, and whether you’re playing solo or with a squad.

In this article, we’ve broken down this complicated system into simple methods you can follow to hit the highest ranks!

5) Focus on one game mode

There are several game modes in PUBG, each featuring a unique gaming experience. While it might be more fun to constantly jump between them, this gets in the way of your rank advancement.

•    Each game mode has its separate ranking.

So, when you keep switching between different game modes, you’re basically dividing your points between them, making it harder to gather enough RP to rank up.

•    Spend more time on one game mode.

Playing one game mode lets you get more time in with that ranked system.

You’ll have a much better chance of climbing up the ranks this way.

4) Survive

Most players prioritize killing other players over surviving till the end game.

While you might be gaining more points in the beginning, focusing on getting a high kill count will most probably end up with you losing much more RP in the long run, eventually leading to your rank’s demotion.

To start ranking up, you’ll have to balance between your urge to get a high kill count and the necessity to survive late in the game. Surviving placement points alone can easily get you into Platinum rank.

There are plenty of ways to avoid dying early in the game. For example:

•    Choose your landing site carefully.

Look at the back of the airplane. If you see a whole airborne squadron jumping off the tail, it’s probably better to land somewhere else.

•    Avoid airdrops.

A lot of people will be there. Believe me, whatever in that crate isn’t worth the hassle.

Of course, taking risks is much more fun than playing with caution. However, it will hinder your ranking-up journey. So, next time you’re pushing on a squad alone, think again.

3) Play More Matches

The ranking system prefers - and rewards - playing more over playing well. By playing more matches, you will be not only getting more RP but you will also be consistently improving your skills. Keep playing games and placing in the top 10 and watch how you’ll be jumping between ranks with ease.

•    Play 7 games daily.

Playing more than that will affect your performance and might have a negative effect on your RP.

•    Choose a landing site and stick to it.

Land in one place regularly until you’ve mastered it.

2) Gather your squad

Playing with a squad will make your journey up the ranks much easier. With your comrades at your back, you’ll be much harder to kill. You can get knocked and have a second chance. You can also go for airdrops, and your teammates will make sure you’re covered.

There are a few tips to follow if you want this method to work.

•    Maintain good communication.

All team members should be informed of the current situation. If you’re in a middle of a fight, your teammates will need to know to be able to help you out.

•    Each player should have a role tailored to his or her skills.

Only your best driver should be in the driver’s seat. If you have only one AWM, give it to the one who knows how to use it best.

•    Make sure you’re only playing with players that match your skills.

Otherwise, they will only be a load on your back.

1) Play Team Deathmatch

Even if you’re a top-tier player with hundreds of wins under your belt and your K/D ratio is 10, you’ll still find it very difficult to place in the top 5 of your first few games of the day.

Starting your gaming session with a quick team deathmatch will have a positive effect on your performance and will increase your chances of winning when you hop on a ranked match.

•    This will help improve your aim tremendously.

You don’t want to have potato aim on a ranked game.

•    You can also try different weapons without worrying about your ranking and K/D ratio.

Remember, practice makes perfect.
