Clash is one of the most troublesome defenders to deal with, and that’s why her ban rate remains high, especially in the lower ranks. That’s because her shield is huge and covers most of her body well. From a long distance, your only chance of inflicting damage to her is if she turns around and exposes her sides or back. At close distance, the best way to damage her is to melee her shield and have it sway and then pepper her with bullets.
However, her shield has a taser function that electrifies and slows down opponents that are in front of it. On top of that, Clash has access to powerful firearms that she can use to frag her opponents when given the opportunity, and in this article, we’re going to discuss her weapons, attachment choices, and utilities.
5. CCE Shield + P-10C with Muzzle Brake + Impact Grenade
This is the most basic loadout setup for Clash and that’s the primary reason why it’s last in the rankings, however, it doesn’t mean that it’s not a viable loadout for her. On the contrary, this loadout is better at longer distances compared to the other loadouts in this list. That’s because the P-10C has an integrated red dot sight which will provide pinpoint accuracy to the user due to its simple center dot reticle and frame that doesn't take up a lot of screen space.
Yes, Clash isn’t really made for medium to long-range shooting. Ideally, she’d be keeping her CCE Shield in front of her at all times. But there are times when opponents would choose to ignore her and turn their back from her, especially at medium to long-range. And that’s where this loadout setup will thrive. With the P-10C handgun as her sidearm, Clash will be able to frag opponents that aren’t paying attention. And chances are, they’ll be caught by surprise at how accurate Clash is hitting them from a distance.
Excels in:
- The integrated red dot sight on the P-10C handgun will provide Clash with pinpoint accuracy for medium to long-range shooting
- The muzzle brake barrel attachment on Clash’s P-10C handgun will greatly lower its vertical recoil which is a great help for accuracy
- Being able to create rotation holes inside the objective spot which are very important for guarding both bomb sites, using the two impact grenades in the generic gadget slot
- Being able to counter other shield operators like Osa and Blitz using the explosion power of the impact grenades
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - CCE Shield
- Secondary weapon - P-10C with Muzzle Brake
- Generic gadget - Impact Grenade
4. CCE Shield + Super Shorty with Reflex B and Laser + Barbed Wire
When it comes to close range superiority, this loadout setup is the best. Obviously, that’s because Clash’s sidearm for this setup is going to be a shotgun. The Super Shorty shotgun may not have a bigger capacity than most typical shotguns in the game, but it’s just as powerful as most of them at close range. It features heavy damage per pellet, so one shot from it at close range will be one hell of a kick. If Clash hits an opponent with the Super Shorty at its optimal range, and because of Clash’s CCE Shield, she really has a high chance to do so, she’ll be able to score an easy kill.
All Clash has to do is to pay close attention to the opponent that she’s slowing down with her CCE Shield’s taser, and once that opponent starts to turn his back from her and run, that’s the perfect moment for her to switch to the Super Shorty shotgun. The Reflex B 1.0x sight is perfect for it as well because its small frame will provide a clear view for Clash when aiming-down-sights on her Super Shorty shotgun. As for her generic gadget, since she’ll be able to create rotation holes with the Super Shorty, it only makes sense for her to take advantage of the benefits from the barbed wires instead.
Excels in:
- Close range superiority due to the heavy damage per pellet and pellet spread of the Super Shorty shotgun
- Having a clear view of the surroundings while aiming-down-sights with the Super Shorty shotgun due to the Reflex B 1.0x sight
- Being able to create rotation holes and further rework the map to the defenders’ advantage with the use of the Super Shorty shotgun
- Slowing down enemies with the use of the barbed wires which can also act as early warning devices on usual flanking spots
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - CCE Shield
- Secondary weapon - Super Shorty with Reflex B and Laser
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire

3. CCE Shield + SPSMG9 with Red Dot A and Compensator + Impact Grenade
The SPSMG9 machine pistol’s recoil has become much rougher since the massive recoil progression overhaul that dropped with Operation Brutal Swarm. That rework on the recoil of guns across the board in Siege made it so that it is now harder to control the recoil of weapons when it comes to longer sprays. This was done to eliminate the meta of just continuously spraying with guns that have huge magazine capacities like the LMGs.
That means that the game now favors short bursts more, and when it comes to short bursts with Clash’s SPSMG9, one of the best barrel attachments would be the compensator. The compensator would greatly lower the horizontal and random recoil from all directions of the SPSMG9 machine pistol, resulting in a more stable recoil for short bursts in the SPSMG9’s case. As for its 1.0x sight, the Red Dot A is a great sight that offers pinpoint accuracy due to its simple center dot reticle.
Excels in:
- Having a sidearm with good damage per shot and very fast rate of fire in the SPSMG9 machine pistol
- Reducing the horizontal recoil and random recoil from all directions on Clash’s SPSMG9 machine pistol with the use of the compensator
- Providing Clash with good accuracy when aiming-down-sights with her SPSMG9 machine pistol with the use of the Red Dot A 1.0x sight
- Having the ability to create rotation holes which are great for guarding the two bomb sites with the use of the impact grenades
- Being able to counter Osa and Blitz with the explosion power of the impact grenades, which are also great for countering defuser plant attempts behind a smoke grenade
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - CCE Shield
- Secondary weapon - SPSMG9 with Red Dot A and Compensator
- Generic gadget - Impact Grenade

2. CCE Shield + SPSMG9 with Red Dot A and Extended Barrel + Barbed Wire
As mentioned before, the SPSMG9’s recoil has become much harder to control because of the recent recoil progression overhaul, so this loadout setup with the SPSMG9 without a recoil control providing attachment might be intimidating at first look. However, if the Clash player sticks to short bursts, and most of the time she would have to, because like I said, it’s ideal for Clash to have her shield in front of her most of the time, this loadout setup could very well be in number one.
That’s because it provides the best damage possible on the SPSMG9 machine pistol. With the very recent buff on the extended barrel making it so that it now adds 15% base damage on weapons, it has now become a highly picked barrel attachment. That 15% boost on the SPSMG9’s damage as well as the extended barrel retaining its previous benefit of reducing the range damage drop-off of weapons will make it so that Clash will be able to quickly take down her enemies when she decides to strafe them with her machine pistol.
Excels in:
- Having the best damage possible on the SPSMG9 machine pistol with the extended barrel greatly reducing its range damage drop-off
- Making the SPSMG9 more powerful with the extended barrel attachment increasing its damage by 15%
- Providing Clash with good accuracy when aiming-down-sight on her SPSMG9 through the Red Dot A’s simple center dot reticle
- Slowing enemies with the use of the barbed wires in Clash’s generic gadget slot which are also great early warning devices on flanking spots
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - CCE Shield
- Secondary weapon - SPSMG9 with Red Dot A and Extended Barrel
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire
Recoil test on the SPSMG9 in this setup firing 11 bullets before I started feeling like I’ll lose control of the gun:
1. CCE Shield + SPSMG9 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider + Impact Grenade
This loadout setup provides the best recoil control possible on Clash’s SPSMG9 machine pistol and that’s why it’s at number one. The flash hider barrel attachment specializes in lowering the vertical recoil of weapons and since the recoil pattern of the SPSMG9 machine pistol mostly goes on a straight vertical line, the flash hider is the best barrel attachment for it when it comes to controlling its weapon kick. Another great thing about the flash hider is that as its name implies, it will also hide the weapon’s muzzle flash.
And without the weapon’s muzzle flash, the opponents’ reaction to Clash’s shots could be delayed, even by a bit. As for Clash’s generic gadget, it’s best to run with the impact grenades for this loadout setup so that Clash will have the ability to create rotation holes which are very important for guarding both of the bomb sites. The impact grenades are also great for finishing off injured enemies from a distance when Clash’s SPSMG9 is reloading. And of course, it remains the best counter to another shield operator, namely Osa.
Excels in:
- Having the best recoil control possible on Clash’s SPSMG9 machine pistol with the use of the flash hider barrel attachment
- Providing Clash with pinpoint accuracy when aiming-down-sights on her SPSMG9 though the Red Dot A’s simple center dot reticle
- Being able to create rotation holes inside the objective spot which are essential in guarding the bomb sites with the use of the impact grenades
- Using the impact grenades to counter Osa or even Blitz, as well as finishing injured enemies from a distance when the SPSMG9 needs to reload
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - CCE Shield
- Secondary weapon - SPSMG9 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider
- Generic gadget - Impact Grenade
