[Top 5] Rainbow 6 Siege Best Zofia Loadouts That Are Excellent

Top 5 Best Zofia Loadouts in R6 Siege
The five best loadouts for operator Zofia in Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 9 Season 1

Zofia is an offense heavy operator, and while the official Siege website states that her role is soft breaching and anti-gadget, she’s really more of a well-rounded operator. She can do really well on the front lines, as well as flanking. She can even help in roam clearing despite not being a 3-speed operator.

Most operators only have one unique weapon in their arsenal, but Zofia has two. This makes Zofia a really special operator with emphasis on offense, and of course, she’s also been greatly affected by the recent big changes to the game. And in this article, we’re going to tackle how those changes will affect players’ choices when selecting the best loadout setups when playing this offensive powerhouse operator.

5. M762 with Magnified B scope, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + RG15 with Suppressor and Laser + Breach Charge

This loadout setup is for players who are looking to have the best recoil control possible on Zofia’s M762 assault rifle. For many players, having the best recoil control possible on their weapons is the best way to go because that will in turn provide them with the best accuracy.  The M762 has a pretty strong weapon kick, so lowering its recoil is a really viable option when choosing the best loadout setup for Zofia. And in this setup, the player will have both the flash hider and vertical grip.

The flash hider and vertical grip attachments specialize in reducing the overall vertical recoil of weapons. While the M762’s recoil tends to have more horizontal recoil after the third shot, having the best vertical recoil control on it will also help the user tame its horizontal recoil. That’s because when the weapon doesn’t have much vertical recoil, the player will be able to concentrate more on handling its horizontal weapon kick. So with this loadout setup, the player will have really good control on Zofia’s M762 assault rifle.

Excels in:

  • The flash hider will greatly lower the M762 assault rifle’s vertical recoil since it specializes reducing the overall vertical recoil of weapons as well as hiding their muzzle flash
  • The vertical grip attachment on Zofia’s M762 assault rifle will be a great partner to the flash hider on its barrel since it will add even more vertical recoil on the weapon, making it a lot more stable
  • The magnified B scope on Zofia’s M762 assault rifle will really up her accuracy since its 2.5x zoom will allow her to see her targets well, and the better one sees their target, the better their accuracy will be
  • The RG15 handgun with a suppressor will be an excellent utility for silently disabling enemy gadgets as well as fragging opponents from medium to long range due to its excellent 1.0x sight
  • The three breach charges in Zofia’s arsenal will up her soft breaching capabilities. They’ll also be great for vertical plays since they can be used for destroying the wooden floor above the objective spot.

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - M762 with Magnified B scope, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Breach Charge

4. LMG-E with Magnified B scope, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + RG15 with Suppressor and Laser + Breach Charge

Zofia’s LMG-E became almost unusable in the last few seasons because of the recoil progression overhaul that was introduced to the game in order to combat the LMG meta of using them to allow players to brute force their way into winning gunfights. Year 9 Season 1 of Siege introduced more fixes to the recoil of light machine guns, and now I could say that it’s a lot more balanced. Their recoil is obviously not as low as it was before the recoil progression overhaul, but they’re not almost unusable anymore.

That’s why the LMG-E is back as a very viable primary weapon for Zofia. With the compensator on its barrel, its tendency for horizontal and random recoil from all directions will be greatly lowered. Partner that with a vertical grip which will lower the overall vertical recoil control of the weapon and you’ll have a light machine gun that can perform suppressive fire for quite a long time without the player losing much control of it. If what the player is looking for is to have the best recoil on Zofia’s LMG-E, this is the setup to go for.

Excels in:

  • The compensator will greatly reduce the recoil diamond size of the Zofia’s LMG-E and that will translate to a lot less horizontal and random recoil from all directions
  • While the compensator lowers the LMG-E's horizontal recoil, the vertical grip attachment will greatly lower its overall vertical recoil, making suppressive fire with the weapon much more stable
  • The magnified B scope will allow Zofia to hit enemies with her LMG-E with great accuracy since it will provide her with a 2.5x zoom that will allow her to see her targets very well
  • The suppressed RG15 with its romeo1 reflex sight will be an excellent weapon for fragging opponents at medium to long range as well as for silently disabling defender gadgets
  • The three breach charges in Zofia’s arsenal can be used for destroying unreinforced walls and hatches as well as the wooden floor above the objective spot when Zofia is performing a vertical play

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - LMG-E with Magnified B scope, Compensator, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Breach Charge

3. M762 with Magnified B scope, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + RG15 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Claymore

This is the most balanced loadout setup in this list because it can be used for any role that Zofia wants to perform, but more so when she wants to approach the match in a more tactical way. That’s because the suppressor on the barrel of her M762 assault rifle will provide her with great stealth benefits. Shots from the suppressed M762 will not provide enemies with a directional threat indicator or a muzzle flash telling them visually where the shots are coming from.

On top of that, the suppressor will also greatly silence the M762’s gunshots, making it harder for enemies to determine where Zofia is shooting from through audio cues. This is excellent for medium to long range shooting as well as for helping other attackers when it comes to roam clearing. And since the suppressor doesn’t provide additional recoil control benefits, it’s important to partner it up with a vertical grip to ensure that Zofia will have good control over her M762 assault rifle.

Excels in:

  • The suppressor barrel attachment on Zofia’s M762 assault rifle will remove its shots’ directional threat indicator as well as its muzzle flash, making it harder for enemies to know where Zofia is shooting from.
  • Shots from a suppressed M762 assault rifle will also be muffled and hard to hear, so it will be harder for enemies to determine where Zofia is shooting from through audio cues.
  • Maintaining a good amount of recoil control on Zofia’s M762 assault rifle through the use of the vertical grip attachment which specializes in lowering the overall vertical recoil of weapons
  • The RG15 handgun with a muzzle brake will have great recoil control which will make its accuracy at medium to long range even better. The laser on the other hand will provide a 10% aim-down-sight speed boost.
  • The two claymores as Zofia’s secondary gadget will allow her to not worry so much about her back since they’re excellent utilities for countering roamers, flankers, and run outs.

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - M762 with Magnified B scope, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

2. LMG-E with Magnified B scope, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip + RG15 with Suppressor and Laser + Claymore

As mentioned before, Year 9 Season 1 of Siege introduced some more tweaking on the recoil of light machine guns, and this time, it’s in favor of them. That’s why the LMG-E is a very viable weapon for Zofia again, and I’m ranking this LMG-E setup at a very high number two. With the flash hider on its barrel, the overall vertical recoil of the LMG-E will be greatly reduced, and its weapon kick will be a lot more manageable, even with just one attachment providing the recoil control.

On the other hand, the angled grip will provide a +20% reload speed which will be a great perk to have for Zofia when she’s using the LMG-E. That’s because the LMG-E's default reload speed is really slow, but with the angled grip, Zofia can get back into action a lot faster than normal when she needs to reload her LMG-E in the middle of combat. As one can see from the recoil test below, I was able to continuously fire almost sixty bullets with it without losing much control, so if you’re worried that the flash hider isn’t enough to handle its weapon kick, you can rest easy.

Excels in:

  • Having a good amount of recoil control on Zofia’s LMG-E due to the flash hider on its barrel which specializes in lowering the overall vertical recoil of weapons as well as removing their muzzle flash
  • Zofia being able to reload her LMG-E 20% faster than normal due to the presence of the angled grip attachment which now adds a +20% aim-down-sight speed boost on weapons
  • The magnified B scope will provide Zofia with a 2.5x zoom which will allow her to see her enemies really well and make it easy for her to hit them especially since it has a great arrow tip reticle
  • With its romeo1 reflex sight, the RG15 handgun is an excellent secondary weapon for fragging enemies, and with a suppressor, it can also be used for silently disabling enemy gadgets
  • The two claymores in Zofia’s arsenal will allow her to cover her and her teammates’ backs since they work really well when it comes to countering flankers, roamers, and run outs.

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - LMG-E with Magnified B scope, Flash Hider, and Angled Grip
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Claymore

1. M762 with Magnified B scope, Flash Hider, and Horizontal Grip + RG15 with Suppressor and Laser + Claymore

The horizontal grip is the newest item to be added to the game and contrary to popular belief, its effects are actually great. What it does is add a 5% movement speed bonus to the operator carrying the weapon it’s attached to. That’s a great perk for Zofia since she’s mostly used for flanking, map control, and front-line assault. Those roles involve her moving around a lot, and with the 5% movement speed bonus from the horizontal grip, she’ll be able to perform her role better.

A lot of people in the Siege community think that 5% movement speed bonus is too small to make a difference, but I disagree. I mean, just think about it, even before the existence of this attachment, operators, with their normal speeds, are already quite hard to hit when they’re moving, even when they’re just side stepping. With the 5% movement speed boost from the horizontal grip in this setup, not only will Zofia be able to move from one point to another faster, she will also be harder for enemies to hit.

Excels in:

  • The flash hider on the M762’s barrel will greatly lower its overall vertical recoil which is important to have since in this setup, the flash hider will be the only attachment that will provide additional recoil control
  • Zofia being able to move 5% faster than normal when using her M762 assault rifle due to the presence of the horizontal grip which is the newest attachment in the game
  • The magnified B scope providing Zofia with great accuracy due to its 2.5x zoom level which will allow her to target her enemies well. It’ll also be great for pinpoint shooting due to its arrow tip reticle.
  • The RG15 handgun with a suppressor will be great for shooting enemies at medium to long range due to its romeo1 reflex sight. It’ll also have a laser which will provide a 10% aim-down-sight speed boost.
  • Zofia having two claymores as her generic gadget will be able to protect herself and her teammates from run outs, roamers, and flankers as claymores are excellent counters to them when placed strategically

Build Details:

  • Primary weapon - M762 with Magnified B scope, Flash Hider, and Horizontal Grip
  • Secondary weapon - RG15 with Suppressor and Laser
  • Generic gadget - Claymore
