Tenet Weapons are Corpus counterparts to the Grineer’s Kuva Weapons. They come with special bonus elemental damage that’s based on the Sisters you vanquish, or in the case of the melee Tenet weapons, based on what Ergo Glast is currently selling.
The long-range (primary and secondary) weapons are obtainable by vanquishing a Sister of Parvos.
The melee Tenet weapons are obtained from Ergo Glast in the Perrin Sequence room inside Tenno Relays.
Note that the stats mentioned here are just for the weapon’s main/normal attack. Innate multishot and secondary firing/attack modes will cause the weapons to have different stats. You can check out the specific details of the special effects in each weapon’s wiki. The total base damage will also vary depending on what element and what percentage of the element that weapon has.
Here are the Tenet Weapons ranked:
12. Tenet Tetra
Now with an added grenade launcher!
Once again this Corpus weapon is the third variation of its kind. Here’s a comparison of the Tetra family:
- Base Damage: Tenet Tetra (with Tenet extra damage boost at 60%) > Prisma Tetra > Tetra
- Critical Chance: Tenet Tetra > Prisma Tetra > Tetra
- Critical Multiplier: Tenet Tetra > Prisma Tetra > Tetra
- Status Chance: Tenet Tetra > Prisma Tetra > Tetra
- Fire Rate: Prisma Tetra > Tetra > Tenet Tetra
- Magazine Size: Tenet Tetra > Prisma Tetra = Tetra
- Max Ammo Capacity: Prisma Tetra = Tetra > Tenet Tetra
- Reload Time: Prisma Tetra = Tetra > Tenet Tetra
It’s not a direct upgrade in every single way but the positives definitely outweigh the negatives here, I definitely consider the Tenet Tetra to be the best among these three.
In addition to the stat differences, the Tenet Tetra also has a new alternate firing mode that acts as a grenade launcher, fully draining the magazine and dealing blast damage in a large area (8-meter radius).
What the Tenet Tetra excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Tetra, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Crowd control:
The grenade launcher mode is a no-brainer for taking out large groups at once. But it’s not just that. The Tetra exclusive mod “Kinetic Ricochet” will cause the Tetra’s projectiles to bounce around. This is amazing in tight spaces where a single shot can hit multiple enemies before expiring.
- Crits and stats:
The Tenet Tetra has a decent critical chance (28%) and status chance (30%) so you can mod the weapon to excel at one of those or give it a little bit of both. It’s great for the automatic mode. Admittedly though, those numbers aren’t that great for the grenade launcher since the explosion only hits once.
Tenet Tetra Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 60 (56% puncture)
- Fire Rate: 5
- Critical Chance: 28%
- Critical Multiplier: 2.2x
- Status Chance: 30%
How to get the Tenet Tetra:
You can get the Tenet Tetra by vanquishing a Sister of Parvos that was generated with one. Sisters spawn with a random Tenet weapon though so it may take a while to get one to spawn with this.
11. Tenet Exec
This sword is making waves
The Tenet Exec, and the other Tenet melee weapons, is a Tenet-exclusive weapon, it doesn’t have a base form unlike some other Tenet weapons (i.e. the Tenet Detron and the regular Detron).
This weird-looking greatsword has the special effect of unleashing a shockwave whenever you perform a ground slam with it. These can travel up to 20 meters if uninterrupted. Performing a heavy ground slam will produce 3 shockwaves in a deadly cone in front of you.
Additionally, equipping any stance mod will also cause the shockwave to trigger on the last hit of its forward block combo.
What the Tenet Exec excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Exec, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Crowd control:
Use the shockwave mechanic to rock your enemies’ worlds! Knocking down entire groups of enemies makes managing their numbers much easier.
- Landing (get it?) crits:
The Tenet Exec has an amazing critical chance of 38%. This ties with the Heliocor as the third-highest critical chance among all melee weapons. And trust me that is a looong list of weapons. It also has an impressive 2.4x critical multiplier.
Prepare to see yellow, orange, and red numbers on your screen every time you take a swing.
Tenet Exec Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 190 (54% impact)
- Attack Speed: 1
- Critical Chance: 38%
- Critical Multiplier: 2.4x
- Status Chance: 22%
How to get the Tenet Exec:
The Tenet Exec can be bought from Ergo Glast in the Perrin Sequence room in the Tenno Relays. It costs 40 Corrupted Holokeys.
10. Tenet Spirex
Finally! Instinctually reloading after every shot comes in handy
The Tenet Spirex is a pistol that fires slugs that explode on contact and deal heat damage (plus the bonus damage you’ll get from the Sister who owned it).
Another effect it has is that whenever you get a headshot, it speeds up your reload speed. This effect can stack twice, the first stack will boost reload speed by 25%, and the second will boost it by 50%.
What the Tenet Spirex excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Spirex, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Quick reloads:
With its special effect, you’ll be able to deal damage pretty constantly without having much downtime in between reloading.
- Inflicting status chance:
The Tenet Spirex has an outstanding status chance of 40% for both the shot impact and explosion. So you won’t only be benefiting from the extra headshot damage you’ll be aiming for, but you’ll also be able to inflict tons of status effects on your enemies.
Apart from those status effects, the Tenet Spirex’s shot also forces impact procs, so you can use this weapon to quickly get rid of those pesky shields.
Tenet Spirex Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 120 (50% heat)
- Fire Rate: 2.33
- Critical Chance: 26%
- Critical Multiplier: 2.4x
- Status Chance: 40%
How to get the Tenet Spirex:
You can get the Tenet Spirex by vanquishing a Sister of Parvos that was generated with one. Sisters spawn with a random Tenet weapon though so it may take a while to get one to spawn with this.
9. Tenet Agendus
A techno gladiator must-have
Being a futuristic, high-tech society that uses robots and drones, it’s pretty weird seeing them make such an archaic kind of weapon. At least, that’s what it might seem like at first. The Corpus, being the Corpus, added an oddball effect to the Tenet Agendus.
When performing a heavy attack, the Tenet Agendus will launch an electric energy disk straight ahead that will wreck anything in its path. The normal attacks themselves also partly deal electricity damage. Shocking.
What the Tenet Agendus excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Agendus, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it. Since the Tenet Agendus already has innate electricity damage, the additional element will mix with the electricity when possible. So, if the additional element is toxin, the damage will turn into corrosive instead.
- Inflicting status effects:
The Tenet Agendus has a pretty good status chance of 28%, since it can potentially get two elemental status types for free, it’s ideal to make this weapon proc those effects and more with additional elemental and status chance mods.
- Blocking out the haters:
This is a sword and shield weapon, and the stats don’t lie (and yes, it’s technically a hammer and not a sword but that’s what this weapon type is called).
Sword and shield weapons generally have the highest blocking angles among all other melee weapon types in the game, and the Tenet Agendus has the highest blocking angle of them all (90°). This ties with Wukong’s Iron Staff on having the highest blocking angle of all melees (not counting special effects that boost blocking angle).
- Clearing a path:
Use the Tenet Agendus’ energy disk ability to wipe out or stun all foes in front of you. This is great for getting out of a pinch or just holding out in a choke point and giving anyone who passes some shock therapy.
Tenet Agendus Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 260 (53.85% electricity)
- Attack Speed: 0.917
- Critical Chance: 24%
- Critical Multiplier: 2x
- Status Chance: 28%
How to get the Tenet Agendus:
The Tenet Agendus can be bought from Ergo Glast in the Perrin Sequence room in the Tenno Relays. It costs 40 Corrupted Holokeys.
8. Tenet Grigori
A featured in the 2202 farmer’s guide
The Corpus love turning melee weapons into guns and here’s another in that category. Though at first glance, it may just look like your everyday laser scythe, the Tenet Grigori can fire an energy disk by performing a heavy slide attack or performing the second attack in the heavy attack combo.
These disks have infinite punch through against enemy bodies but will ricochet off of surfaces. How far they travel depends on how big your combo counter is when firing it.
Another special feature that the Tenet Grigori has is that it pauses your combo countdown timer whenever it’s holstered. So you can save up your combo count for performing heavy attacks when you need it most.
What the Tenet Grigori excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Grigori, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Prolonging combos:
You’ll be able to take down high-priority enemies in a single shot by saving up enough combo count and unleashing the full wrath of a heavy attack on them.
- Speedrunning reaping:
The Tenet Grigori is tied with the Anku, Ether Reaper, and Reaper Prime on having the highest attack speed among all scythes.
- Sowing status effects:
With a status chance of 38%, the Tenet Grigori has the third highest status chance among melee weapons. The possible bonus elemental damage you get with it also boosts its capabilities as a status effect-based weapon.
- Reaping from afar:
Use the Tenet Grigori’s energy disks to wreak havoc on your enemies without even getting close to them. Similar to the Tenet Agendus’ disks, these are great for covering choke points.
Tenet Grigori Stats:
- Total Base Damage (on Normal attack): 228 (60% slash)
- Attack Speed: 1.08
- Critical Chance: 24%
- Critical Multiplier: 1.6x
- Status Chance: 38%
How to get the Tenet Grigori:
The Tenet Grigori can be bought from Ergo Glast in the Perrin Sequence room in the Tenno Relays. It costs 40 Corrupted Holokeys.
7. Tenet Detron
A shotgun on the go
This is the third iteration of the pistol-shotgun Detron. Here’s a comparison between the three Detron types:
- Base Damage: Tenet Detron (with Tenet extra damage boost at 60%) > Mara Detron = Detron
- Critical Chance: Tenet Detron > Mara Detron > Detron
- Critical Multiplier: Tenet Detron > Mara Detron = Detron
- Status Chance: Mara Detron > Detron > Tenet Detron
- Multishot: Tenet Detron > Mara Detron = Detron
- Magazine Size: Mara Detron > Tenet Detron > Detron
- Accuracy: Tenet Detron > Mara Detron > Detron
- As you can see, the only glaring negative is its status chance… or is it?
Since it has a higher multishot (how many pellets are in a single shot), that actually makes up for it and it still has the highest overall status chance if you add up all the status chances of each pellet. In Warframe, if a weapon has multishot, each pellet will have that weapon’s status chance. For example, the Tenet Detron has a multishot of 10 and a status chance of 10%. This means each of the 10 pellets will have a 10% status chance, adding up to 100% if all of those pellets hit the mark.
A higher accuracy also ensures that all of those pellets have a better chance of hitting their mark.
Aside from having overall better stats, the Tenet Detron also has the alternate fire of unloading its entire magazine at once. Useful for high-priority targets.
What the Tenet Detron excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Detron, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- One-shotting:
You can use the Detron’s ability of unleashing its entire clip with a single click to take down tanky enemies or enemies that need to be taken care of ASAP.
The damage will depend on how many shots remain in the magazine, so equipping mods that increase your magazine size will also increase the potential damage you can get from this.
- Guaranteeing status procs:
With a status chance of 100% (if all shots land), this is an amazing weapon for burning, freezing, electrifying, or melting your enemies. You don’t even have to add additional status chance mods (you could if you want to proc effects more than once per shot though)
Tenet Detron Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 260 (100% radiation)
- Fire Rate: 3.33
- Critical Chance: 18%
- Critical Multiplier: 2x
- Status Chance: 10%
How to get the Tenet Detron:
You can get the Tenet Detron by vanquishing a Sister of Parvos that was generated with one. Sisters spawn with a random Tenet weapon though so it may take a while to get one to spawn with this.
6. Tenet Diplos
You can run but you can’t hide from these bloodhound bullets
The Tenet Diplos are unusual akimbo pistols that transform into an attache case when holstered to match the Corpus’ business theme (you may have noticed that a couple of other Tenet weapons also do this).
When fired from the hip, they’re dual automatic pistols. But, when looking down the sights, you can lock-on to up to 8 targets before pulling the trigger and releasing a volley of shots that will home in on the targets.
Admittedly the lock-on feature can be a bit clunky and takes some time to get used to, but I think it’s pretty fun and unique, plus the damage isn’t half bad.
Once holstered the Tenet Diplos will start to automatically refill its magazine, 8 rounds per second.
What the Tenet Diplos excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Diplos, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Clearing rooms:
If you can get a nice vantage point, you can lock onto a bunch of enemies in a single room before unleashing your horde of heat-seeking bullets to take them down all at once. Also, a little feature with this weapon is that even though its shots are listed as “alarming” they actually behave as though they are silent, so enemies won’t even be alerted unless they see the dead bodies or you fire too close to them.
- Auto-reloading:
The reload-when-holstered feature can come in handy whenever you forget to reload or have to quickly switch weapons before reloading. The next time you equip it, it’ll have a fresh magazine and be ready to start pumping lead all over again.
- Critical hits:
With a critical chance of 36%, the Tenet Diplos is amazing at neutralizing threats quickly. Whether it’s multiple enemies through the homing mode or individual tanky enemies through the automatic mode.
You can still use the automatic mode even when aiming, just start firing first and then start aiming to achieve this.
Tenet Diplos Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 28 (40% impact)
- Fire Rate: 9.67
- Critical Chance: 36%
- Critical Multiplier: 2.2x
- Status Chance: 14%
How to get the Tenet Diplos:
You can get the Tenet Diplos by vanquishing a Sister of Parvos that was generated with one. Sisters spawn with a random Tenet weapon though so it may take a while to get one to spawn with this.
5. Tenet Flux Rifle
No beams no problems
Compared to the regular Flux Rifle, the Tenet Flux Rifle has better base damage, critical chance, status chance, fire rate, magazine size, ammo capacity, reload time, and accuracy. It may have the slight downside of having a smaller critical multiplier but it’s just a 0.2 difference; that’s easily dismissable.
There are some other major differences with the Tenet version. Even the main firing mode itself is different now. Instead of it being a beam weapon, it’s now an automatic weapon, therefore also removing its punch-through capabilities on enemy bodies but also removing its range limit.
Also, now it uses ammo pickups instead of automatically recharging itself.
What the Tenet Flux Rifle excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Flux Rifle, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Rapid fire:
With a fire rate of 15, you can easily trigger critical shots and multiple status effects with this weapon.
- Using beam weapon mods:
Even though it is no longer a beam weapon, for some reason, the Tenet Flux Rifle can still use some beam-exclusive mods like Combustion Beam and the regular Flux Rifle’s Flux Overdrive to make it an effective AoE and status effect weapon.
Tenet Flux Rifle Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 22 (78.18% slash)
- Fire Rate: 15
- Critical Chance: 20%
- Critical Multiplier: 1.8x
- Status Chance: 26%
How to get the Tenet Flux Rifle:
You can get the Tenet Flux Rifle by vanquishing a Sister of Parvos that was generated with one. Sisters spawn with a random Tenet weapon though so it may take a while to get one to spawn with this.
4. Tenet Livia
Parry this you filthy casual
Following the pattern of sci-fi takes on ancient weaponry, here we have a two-handed laser nikana (Warframes version of the katana). Unfortunately, unlike the other Tenet melee weapons, this doesn’t turn into a gun.
Now calm down, it still has a special effect. When you block incoming shots, your blocking angle grows the more you block. It can grow from a blocking angle of 55° to 125° which is insane.
Also, similar to the Tenet Grigori, it preserves its combo count whenever it’s holstered. Keep in mind that blocking projectiles actually adds to your combo count. So, you’ll be able to stack up huge combo counts for massive heavy attacks.
What the Tenet Livia excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Livia, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Prolonging combos:
As stated above, the Tenet Livia can also save up its combo count simply by holstering it. The added efficiency for blocking will only help you increase your combo count even more.
- Holding the line:
Once you’ve reached the 125° blocking angle, you’ll be able to cover huge ground and protect yourself and your squad from any bullets, lasers, and infested bile that comes your way.
Tenet Livia Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 198 (90% slash)
- Attack Speed: 1.08
- Critical Chance: 28%
- Critical Multiplier: 2.2x
- Status Chance: 28%
How to get the Tenet Livia:
The Tenet Livia can be bought from Ergo Glast in the Perrin Sequence room in the Tenno Relays. It costs 40 Corrupted Holokeys.
3. Tenet Cycron
The Corpus’ answer to the Kuva Nukor
The Tenet Cycron is a powerful pistol beam weapon. It has increased base damage, critical chance, and status chance from its base counterpart. But if you’ve tried out and seen the difference between the Kuva Nukor and the base Nukor, you’ll know there are more differences than just stat upgrades.
There are two significant changes. The first is that instead of dealing 8 puncture, 5 slash, and 10 radiation damage, the Tenet Cycron now deals 22 heat damage.
The second difference is that its beam now chains between enemies. What this means is that when the beam hits an enemy, instead of the beam ending there, it will latch onto another nearby enemy (up to 7 meters from the original target). The beam chains twice so you can damage three enemies at once (it will only deal 60% of its total damage to the chained enemies, however).
What Tenet Cycron excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Cycron, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Having endless ammo:
Like the base Cycron, the Tenet version also has the feature of refilling its own ammo 1 second after it stops shooting. It only takes another single second to fill an empty battery.
Both versions of the Cycrons cannot pick up ammo and can only reload in this manner.
- Causing status effects:
This weapon has a status chance of 40% which is pretty impressive. You can mod it even further so that it can be used to deal multiple status effects quickly.
Tenet Cycron Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 22 (100% heat)
- Fire Rate: 12
- Critical Chance: 20%
- Critical Multiplier: 1.8x
- Status Chance: 40%
How to get the Tenet Cycron:
You can get the Tenet Cycron by vanquishing a Sister of Parvos that was generated with one. Sisters spawn with a random Tenet weapon though so it may take a while to get one to spawn with this.
2. Tenet Envoy
You don’t need a laser to point out why this baby is so good
This rocket launcher uses a laser to guide its rocket to where you want it to go. On the other hand, firing it without pressing the aim button will fire the rocket straight and at a much faster speed. The rockets also have innate cold damage making them great against shields and armor. Mixing it with other elements will also produce other deadly results.
Like the Tenet Diplos, the Tenet Envoy also automatically refills its magazine when holstered in its attaché case form.
Despite the recent AoE nerf, I still maintain that this is a fantastic weapon. I’ve been using it a lot recently and it’s still great even when you don’t spray and pray (which shouldn’t even be the point of an AoE weapon in the first place).
What the Tenet Envoy excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Envoy, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Huge AoE:
It should be pretty obvious but of course, a rocket launcher would be excellent in taking out groups of enemies. Just aim in the general center of the group, pull the trigger, and watch them disintegrate.
Also, the Tenet Envoy actually has an automatic trigger so if anything somehow survives your first rocket, just don’t let go of the trigger until nothing’s left standing.
- Auto-reloading:
Even though the Tenet Envoy’s reload speed is a little slow, it doesn’t matter since all you have to do is holster it, and the next time you pull it out, it’ll have a fresh magazine for blasting more enemies to dust.
- Stealth explosions:
Similar to the Tenet Diplos, despite being listed as “alarming”, the Tenet Envoy’s shots and explosions actually behave as though they are silent. So, yes, as stupid as it sounds, this laser-guided rocket launcher that makes massive explosions is a stealth weapon.
Is this a bug? Probably. But until it’s changed, I will call it an “epic gamer strat”.
Tenet Envoy Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 100 (100% impact)
- Fire Rate: 0.83
- Critical Chance: 28%
- Critical Multiplier: 2.6x
- Status Chance: 24%
How to get the Tenet Envoy:
You can get the Tenet Envoy by vanquishing a Sister of Parvos that was generated with one. Sisters spawn with a random Tenet weapon though so it may take a while to get one to spawn with this.
1. Tenet Arca Plasmor
Shots now with boing-boing features!
The Tenet version of the Arca Plasmor features better base damage, critical multiplier, and status chance than its base counterpart.
Evaporate enemies from this plane of existence with the radioactive waves that the Tenet Arca Plasmor fires off. Enemies killed by the Tenet Arca Plasmor and its base form will disintegrate into nothingness, so enemies will not be able to spot them and become alerted.
Another bonus that the Tenet Arca Plasmor has over the normal Arca Plasmor is that its blasts now ricochet off of bodies and surfaces. Allowing you to deal even further damage to enemies that survive your initial blast. Though, due to its innate punch through, bouncing the shots off of bodies can be tricky so you’re better off intentionally making them bounce off of surfaces.
If you’re wondering why I consider this to be the best Tenet Weapon, fun gimmicks are all good, but at the end of the day, weapons have one purpose, it’s to obliterate whoever is on the other end and the Tenet Arca Plasmor’s massive damage does this the best.
What the Tenet Arca Plasmor excels at:
- Having the Tenet Weapon bonuses:
The Tenet Arca Plasmor, after using five Forma, will have a max level of 40. It also has the added bonus damage based on the Sister that spawned with it.
- Bouncing back:
Unlike the base Arca Plasmor, the Tenet version features ricochet! The pulses bounce off of walls to potentially deal even more damage.
- Punching through:
This weapon has a default punch through of 3 meters against bodies.
- Sneaking:
Enemies killed by this weapon disintegrate, so you can mod it for stealth if you want to. You can do this by adding silencer mods.
- Quickscoping:
The Tenet Arca Plasmor has a low aim zoom which is useful since its shots are pretty wide. This makes it easier to aim properly.
Tenet Arca Plasmor Stats:
- Total Base Damage: 760 (100% radiation)
- Fire Rate: 1
- Critical Chance: 22%
- Critical Multiplier: 2x
- Status Chance: 34%
How to get the Tenet Arca Plasmor:
You can get the Tenet Arca Plasmor by vanquishing a Sister of Parvos that was generated with one. Sisters spawn with a random Tenet weapon though so it may take a while to get one to spawn with this.
