Dying Light 2 has announced the release of a behind-the-scenes peek at how they create epic cinematic videos.

On 14 December 2021 at 5:00 PM CET Dying Light posted a tweet announcing the release of a short behind-the-scenes video describing how the team creates epic cinematics for Dying Light 2.

In the tweet, they stated, “We've already shown you our Dying Light 2 cinematic trailer made by the fantastic Platige Image. Ever wondered how such movies are created? Well, you can find out, as we invite you to watch a behind-the-scenes video! Stay tuned!”

A short cinematic is included in the tweet, depicting 2 characters fleeing the undead creatures of Dying Light 2. 

During this cinematic, there is a brief cut during which Adrian Ciszewski, the Chief Creative Officer at Techland, says, “In the trailer and in the game itself, good and evil will blend, so there will never be one clear solution.”

The behind-the-scenes video has yet to be released, however, it is scheduled for release sometime today on the 15th of December, 2021. 

The behind-the-scenes video and explanations will give viewers a unique insight into the work and effort that goes into creating effective trailer cinematics. Furthermore, it will give viewers and players an idea of the thought processes behind how the Dying Light 2 cinematic trailer was made, and what the intended effects of this were.

The video will be released later today, so fans that are keen to get a behind-the-scenes peek would be well-advised to keep an eye on the official Dying Light 2 Twitter page.
