Yiliang “Peter” “Doublelift” Peng is a professional LoL ADC for Team Liquid. He’s considered one of the best North American ADCs and one of the best western ADCs. Here are some interesting facts you may or may not know about one of NA’s top players.

1. Doublelift was born July 19th 1993. He’s currently 24 years old.
2. Doublelift is from Mission Viejo, California. Only about an hour away from where he plays at the LCS Studio in Los Angeles.
3. The name “Doublelift” actually comes from a card trick. Doublelift started doing card tricks in high school to impress girls.
4. Doublelift has two siblings, an older and younger brother.
5. Doublelift’s favorite snacks are potato chips.
6. Doublelift is lactose intolerant, but he still loves ice-cream.
7. His favorite fast food joint is either Five Guys or Chipotle.
8. Doublelift’s favorite singleplayer game is probably Dark Souls.
9. Doublelift actually works out a lot. He says it helps him keep a good schedule and stay healthy during the LCS.
10. Doublelift loves competition. He considers himself a tryhard when it comes to any sort of online game. It’s also why he prefers multiplayer to singleplayer.
11. His eSports idol is actually a former Starcraft player, IdrA.
12. Doublelift has a girlfriend named Bonnie who lives in Seattle. He took a split off in spring 2017 to spend more time with her and to try streaming.
13. Doublelift loves anime! His favorite is Shinsekai Yori (From the New World).
14. If Doublelift wasn’t a pro League player, he’d want to be a pro DotA player.
15. If Doublelift didn’t go pro, he would have probably become a biologist (at his parent’s request).
16. Doublelift was kicked out of his home a week after his 18th birthday. After posting on the LoL subreddit, eSports commentator Travis Gafford invited him to live with him. They are still best friends to this day.
17. Doublelift gained professional attention for his play on Blitzcrank.
18. Doublelift started his career as a support for Epik Gamer, before moving to CLG and becoming an ADC.
19. While playing for CLG, Doublelift was fined $2,500 for poaching “ZionSpartan” (now “Darshan”) from Dignitas.
20. Doublelift has a history of some toxicity. He was the main bad guy in CLG’s former midlaner Link’s “The Donezo Manifesto” as it’s now called. The CLG midlaner said Peter had too big an ego, and was too aggressive when criticizing his teammates.
21. On October 31st, 2015 Doublelift joined TSM. The announcement video has over 2.6 million views on Youtube.
22. Doublelift has competed in every year of the NA LCS, although he did miss most of 2017’s Spring Split. He took the split off to stream and spend time with his girlfriend Bonnie, returning at the end of the split on loan to Team Liquid.
23. Doublelift moved to Team Liquid in spring 2018.
24. Doublelift is the first NA player to reach 1,000 regular season kills, doing so on July 31st 2016.
25. Doublelift leads the world in competitive Pentakills with ten.
26. Doublelift has won the NA LCS 4 times: with CLG in summer 2015, TSM in summer 2016 and 2017, and TL in spring 2018.
27. If Doublelift had to play a different roll, he would probably pick jungle. His jungle main would be Lee Sin.
28. Doublelift’s signature quote is “Everyone else is trash”.
29. Doublelift has grown a lot since joining the LCS. Although he had a reputation for being arrogant and sometimes toxic, he is now one of the most respected players in NA.
30. Doublelift is also a successful League streamer, with over 1 million followers on Twitch.
31. When Doublelift retires, he doesn’t want to leave eSports, but instead wants to continue to work in the eSports scene. He’d like to work as a manager, helping players grow their career.
32. Doublelift goes into the 2018 summer split as one of the oldest and most successful ADCs in the west, and looks to lead TL to another NA LCS title.
