It is my 150th run, This time I shall beat Hades and break free of his chain. I pick the best combination of weapons, charms and summon my energy to beat his minions. One more run, I say to myself but we all know it won’t be just one more.
Hades feels great, it is smooth, responsive and addictive. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen enjoying its fun combat, riveting characters, and bombing soundtrack. Hades is the perfect rogue like, it revels in repetition, which doesn’t feel like repetition. The secret perfect Greek wine is bolstered by an amazing script. It feels personal, energetic and Oh! Don’t get me started on the Voice Work, I do think this is the best Voice acting I have ever heard. Every persona is boosted by picturesque art work and performance.

5. Adamant Rail

TYPE: PROJECTILE WEAPON
Ranged weapon similar to a gun, has repeating shots.
BASE DAMAGE 10
SPECIAL DAMAGE 60
The best weapon for cheesing the game, you can fire projectiles from a safe distance and since most enemies do melee damage, it is a god send, or a Hades send (Who is the God, in this world ? Since everyone is a god)
It is the most ‘expensive’ weapon in the game, but it is worth it. Are you struggling with the beautifully animated bosses ?
This is the weapon you need, Zagreus. It has the most interesting upgrade paths, with the possibilities being endless. You can fire 3 projectiles instead of one, buff your attacks with lightning or chill (My Favorite)
It can be unlocked with 8 Chthonic Keys, after all other weapons have been unlocked

4. Twin Fists of Malphon

Knuckles or Boxing style weapon, ideal for finishing enemies up close
BASE DAMAGE 15
SPECIAL DAMAGE 30
The most fun weapon in the game, knuckle heads will love to bring the fury with these twin meatballs. Get up close and personal, get a boon that gives your dash an extra damage, and charge into every enemy. You will have a great time, and the damage is not bad either.
Chain together its attacks and every enemy will become jelly, very soon. The special is an uppercut, which hits twice. There is a dash attack that has a visual flair but also twice the power. It receives Dash-Strike damage bonuses as well as Special damage bonuses.
Can be unlocked with 8 chthonic keys, after 4 previous weapons have been unlocked
MOVESETS
Press Attack (X) or (Left Mouse Click) and hold for sequence of attacks dealing 15 damage each
Press Special (Y) (Right Mouse Click) for Uppercut dealing 30 damage per hit, it hits twice
Dash-Strike- Dash (A)(SPACE) then attack for a dash strike dealing 25 Damage
Notes-
It is a blast in the early phase but later, it has trouble with beating bosses
Has no projectile options, therefore the player needs to upgrade casting abilities

3. Stygian Blade

The default weapon that functions like a sword

The starting weapon of the game has pretty good damage stats, and is very fun to play with. You start with this weapon, and could, very well, finish the game with this weapon, but where is the fun in that, Zagreus ?
Has a very potent Special move and a combo strike moveset, is good for both the start and the end game.
MOVESETS:
Press Attack (X) (Left Mouse Click) to strike, dealing 20 Damage units
Press (Y) (Right Mouse Click) to do a special attack that deals 50 Damage unit
Press Attack (X) three times in a row to do 30 damage units
Press Dash(A)(SPACE) then Attack (X) to dash strike dealing 25 Damage units

2. HEART SEEKING BOW

Bow Type weapon that can be charged for extra damage
BASE DAMAGE 20 ( can be charged to 60)

For the archery lovers out there, this is the weapon for you. It is weak in the early game, but with the right boons and charms, it can be very good at dispatching far foes in the late game
It is the second weapon of the game that can be unlocked with 1 Chthonic Keys.
MOVESETS:
PRESS ATTACK(X)(Left Mouse Click) to fire a bow, dealing 20 damage units
HOLD ATTACK(X) to charge your shot, dealing 20 to 60 damage units
PRESS SPECIAL (Y) (Right Mouse Click)to do projectile spray, dealing 10 damage units
RELEASE ATTACK(X) when it flashes to do a power shot dealing 70 damage units

1. SHIELD OF CHAOS

TYPE: MELEE/ PROJECTILE MIXED
BASE DAMAGE 25

For the Captain America fans out there, this is the weapon for you. Now you can cosplay as a Marvel hero, by throwing, blocking, and charging up your shield to run into our enemies
It can be unlocked for 3 Chthonic keys
Excellent for late game bosses, since you can block their projectiles. Has arguably, the most interesting and varied moveset out there. Now, let's talk about movesets.
MOVESETS
PRESS ATTACK(X)(Left Mouse Click) to bash, dealing 25 base damage
PRESS SPECIAL(Y)(Right Mouse Click) to throw, dealing 15 base damage
HOLD ATTACK(X) to defend, then release to rush dealing 40 base damage.
